This is a distant future purchase for sure (if Doughboy can even make it, which I think he can, but it may cost a pretty penny lol)

So to get negative pressure there would I have to connect the hose port to a funnel shaped chamber so the bubbles get "sucked" into the return tube?

There'd be no reason for the bubbles to go down the return tube, since there's no negative pressure there to pull the bubbles that way.

The key difference is that the mouthpiece in that ratchet recycler is attached to/above the return tube, so the flow is directed there.
Imagine that ratchet recycler, but with the mouthpiece connecting to the main can, not the return tube. The bubbles may get as high as the return tube, but without the negative pressure to pull the bubbles to it, they'll just go toward the mouthpiece.

I'll draw up a new version later that has the hose connecting to all three return tubes so that the bubbles get pulled into the tubes

I thought of a few other design changes too to make it more removable and easier to clean. Let's see what I can come up with lol

Look at that joint and perc and uptake tubes. My goodness. Check out the diffusion and vortex (in the last pic) too. Custom joint/perc handmade by Doughboy! Oh boy I'm a happy camper.

Class starts up again Thursday. I hope I have it by then. It will definitely be a celebration night with double the trouble!

Awesome, isn't the other hydratube an incycler as well? Looks like it does two different return actions one being an incycler the other an outside return. Am I correct? Also poopmachine check your p.m i asked a question in one of my last post I'm not sure you saw.

Also just noticed that the inner return exits to the outside then back in. DAMN, I think with this piece PooP you just cured myGAS

I agree totally with you Muushu I've been wanting one even wanted a QUADCYCLER the price of those were unrealistic. I'll pay for quality work but I could give a damn about paying for the name you've created for yourself. That's why I like being in this circle. Trey work rivals and outshines big name guys without the big name prices

Id imagine he could build a quad in a day and it would be around $400-450.. Im strictly guessing.

When you start adding multiple chambers, its harder to get them to vortex because youre dividing up the suction. Boogerman's piece vortexs really well to have two chambers on it.

Sort of.. its a Klein recycler... An incycler is very similar but less plumbing. We talked about it last night.. I dont know when he will try to build one but I told him it would be awesome if he had both in his lineup.

I think a dual is perfect to kill my curiosity. I'm still learning a lot. Some stuff I'm just reaching in my pocket at the wow factor. I like to keep down the restriction I have a Delta9 recycler that feels like its pulling in the opposite direction of your pull. It damn near hurts your lungs to pull it. I need to sell it its a BIG HITTER but too much for me on most days. Also I don't know if Trey ever sees this thread but just wanted take this time to give you a round of applause for an outstanding job thus far. :clap:

I do have a vid but it's short and quick like @PoopMachine said so I will be waiting to share a nicer one once I get the piece. I want to play with water levels, etc and get it perfect before showing everyone the wonderful function

Check out this quad recycler (see link for many more pics). Seems like a bit overkill to me. I mean the brand name is Killa Glass :doh:

Doesn't seem like it will be too "Killa" to me haha. I'm not a huge fan of the style on this one but they are hard to come by so it is what it is. It definitely won't vortex IMO. And neither will only there double recycler. You can see how the center tube just splits into two 90* angle tubes that shoot the water into the center of the recycling chamber. That 90* part should be a support bat and the plumbing to the recycling chamber should be redone. Maybe Trey could put these 90* uptake tubes more on the side of the recycling chamber (like on mine) instead of in the middle so it swirls around instead of splashes in the center. That might help with vortex?

The Quad I was referring to was a piece made by Gordo Scientific and all four vortexed really well but I was just fascinated with the water show it may be to much for my vapor needs. Trey is the home run for function and visual. A dual will suit me just fine

Yeah a dual is plenty for me too. I know I will be happy with it. Trey has been doing some good stuff at a price I never thought I could find.

There was a local shop selling a dual for $600 that I thought was decent. I was "interested" in the function because that was the first one I had seen, and the guy at the shop instantly said he would do it for $400. I thought to myself, wait how can you just drop the price $200. Now I realize how they could. Theirs wasn't even close to as nice as my Doughboy.

If they had this one in the shop they would have been asking $600 and selling it for $600. To me that is just out of my budget for one single piece of clear glass. But Trey made one within most peoples budget! I can't ask for more than that.

Gordo Scientific does make some nice pieces so I believe that it is possible to get all four to vortex. His probably costs an arm and a leg though. Like you said the price was just unrealistic :ugh:

I talked to Trey about a quadruple tonight.. he's down to make one.. $450.00 would get it done.

Anyone else wants a double, they can be had. He's building recyclo-tubes tomorrow and probably part of Wed then working on @CrazyDiamond 's piece. He had a Haterade Klein recycler with opals in the kiln tonight when I was over there.

Coming straight down doesnt necessarily mean it wont vortex. CrazyD's piece spins the water and I saw a vortex in it once or twice playing with the water level. Trey prefers to make them that way because it keeps splashback to a minimum but he's warming up to coming in from the side now that he's done a few that way.

The quad @IWAW posted looks reasonable and kinda cool. I'm on the fence about a quad...overkill? The triple is cool and @BoogerMan's double is very cool too. I was thinking today that I have never seen a large double or single for that matter. I'm kinda thinking that after my second one that maybe a large double...you know something that you vape flower out of...maybe close to double the size (well not wuite that much).....what say you about that?

Agreement with the dislike of that "Killa" quad (I say Killa with the utmost sarcasm, lol)...that thing is just butt ugly and I agree, I'm not sure how that thing could even come close to vortexing....now the other quad...hmmmm...

And btw, as @PoopMachine said, my piece does spin the h2o quite nicely and it mostly vortex's as you are hitting it....also dependent on water level too (haven't played much with it as I'm out of dabs at the moment).

I'll post some pics of the double next to a big lighter and a Newport torch to show size.

It's about 10 inches so definitely not small but not huge. Double this size might be a little too big but 15-16 inches would be okay I would think. Maybe just a taller and wider can and longer mouthpiece?

I'm hoping to use a female to female adapter on mine so I can use the lotus and solo with it

Yeah I just like the watershow of a Quad but for Vaping why bother. I think the double is awesome and the triple klein is nice and both must haves, but for me Klein Hydratube is the Cream of the Crop!!! :rockon:
