Rapid Fire Pocket Puffer

So I have tried to reach out to Tom Allinder requesting a status update and no word yet.

I must say though that while I am not going to turn down a free vape and am pleased with the opportunity to test it, this thing is facing an uphill battle to win me over.

Comparing it to some very similar devices in features and style are going to put it to the test. I will be matching it against the Haze, Pax, FM and soon to be acquired Indica V2. I love these devices and I don't see right off where the Puffer will have any significant advantage over these (at least on paper).

It's most likely going to come down to performance and I realize that I will be testing a beta unit so you have to temper your expectations with that.

Either way I will be happy to provide some good honest feedback to make this better. That is when it shows up at my door step. Whenever that is!

I will check back if I hear something from them. Hopefully they ate getting closer to getting some units on the street.

Looks very promising and hope this is released soon. Is this the same company as the makers of Haze Vaporizer? That as well has dual bowls and that's the biggest winner for me.

It is not. No release date in sight for now.

Yes the dual bowl concept is great!

LOL is so perfect!
Just reporting what I was told guys. I agree this sounds ridiculous.

At this point who knows what's going on with this. They have fallen off the map. I have sent a couple notes and received nothing in response. Maybe that will change and maybe not......

never recieved an reply from this guys, but apparently they have added me to their shareholders mailing list?! :/

seems like a first small batch will be delivered within the next two weeks and handed out to the winners of their drawing.

anyway, the haze vaporizer seems much more advanced to me, so I guess these guys have already lost the race

Pocket Puffer Update 13 November 2014
As most of you know, we received the first production unit of the PocketPuffer® Dry Herb Vaporizer at the beginning of August. After testing the unit for functionality and battery life, necessary modifications were made at the factory. Additionally, several upgrades were added into the first production round which will be used for testing-- including testing by our drawing winners.

Just over 3 weeks ago, we were notified by the factory representative that the first production round of the PocketPuffer®was nearly complete and the company was going to be receiving the vaporizer units within two weeks.

However, at Quality Control before shipping, it was discovered that the LED lights on these units were malfunctioning. It was necessary that we withhold shipping approval until the completion of troubleshooting and repairs were rendered. Once this process is complete, the units will be shipped.

Again, once all feedback from the first production round is gathered (including the winners of the drawing), modifications/upgrades will be made at the factory before a full production round of 2300 units with a retail value of $200,000 will begin.

We are very reluctant at this point to give timelines (given our history of unforeseen delays), but the PocketPuffer® will go into full production and will be for sale once we have completed evaluation on the first production round.

It is important to us that the final unit that goes up for sale to the general public is completely free of problems and defects. We cannot and will not rush these units into the hands of consumers just for the sake of getting them to market. We are not going to put ourselves in the position of processing large amounts of returns of units that do not work well or are defective. The marketing blowback would be devastating. When we finally announce the market launch of the Pocket Puffer, consumers, shareholders and the company will be assured of its quality.

Please bear with us as we work towards bringing the best possible vaporizer unit to the marketplace. :tinfoil:

PocketPuffer® Update 16 December 2014
As mentioned in previous updates, the first production unit of the PocketPuffer® was thoroughly tested and upgrades made to the final production unit.

Our manufacturing representative received the first production round of Pocket Puffers several weeks ago and, after testing the vaporizer unit, it was determined that further refinements were needed prior to releasing to our vaporizer evaluators.

Among the revisions, software updates were needed in two areas, which included the thermal couple probe and LED light color for indicating full recharge. Also, two improvements were made in the metal piece in chamber and the hinge pin, as well as the bottom stabilizer.

It is imperative that the final unit that goes up for sale to the general public is completely free of potential problems and defects. This Q/C process has taken longer than expected but we are confident that our diligence will be well rewarded after our market launch.

They mentioned it to be released now or in January, but who knows.

Here is the latest update.....

Updates on The PocketPuffer™ and Merger/Acquisition Progress
CARSON CITY, Nev., Feb 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Rapid Fire Marketing (Pink Sheets: RFMK) has issued the following update on the Company's business and objectives going forward in 2015:

PocketPuffer™ Herbal Vaporizer

Over the last several months, numerous improvements to the PocketPuffer™ dry herbal vaporizer have been underway at the factory in China. Rapid Fire Marketing has had an ambitious plan from the beginning to develop our own vaporizer that is unique and provides a customer experience superior to competitors. From the start, we wanted a sophisticated unit with multiple temperature settings which is essential for the vaporization of a variety of herbs. Optimum vaporization occurs with different heat settings depending on the herb the user wants to vaporize.

This sophistication has the drawback of taking a significant amount of time to develop and having a unit that is ready for the marketplace. As we have said before, rather than rush a unit to the marketplace, we want to bring the best unit available to the marketplace.

We are expecting the final units to be received in California by next week. Once we receive these units, our factory representative, as well as members of our team will test the units. If all goes well, we can go to a significant production run.

Additionally, we have received our final trademark for the PocketPuffer™, from the United States Patent and Trademark office.

Merger/Acquisition Update

During the past year, we have been in discussions with several companies regarding a potential merger or acquisition. It is our contention that acquiring a cash flow positive company, or merging with a company that is either cash flow positive or working their way toward profitability, is the quickest route to long term growth for Rapid Fire Marketing.

There are many considerations in the merger/acquisition business. First of all, it has to make sense for our Company and it has to be a good deal for our Company and its shareholders. We are not going to acquire or merge with a company that will be to the long term detriment of the shareholders.

We have a three to five year plan for Rapid Fire Marketing. It is our objective to find the right acquisitions and then position the combined resources of the companies for growth into the future.

We believe there is a lot of value in our Company. RFMK is fully reporting with the SEC, as we file our 10-Qs and 10-Ks on time. And, most importantly for a potential private acquisition company with capital requirements, our Company has funding in place for a potential transaction.

We have made significant progress narrowing down the field of companies we have been in discussions with in regards to a merger or acquisition. We were close to consummating a deal after a great deal of due diligence but, in the end, it was not the best deal for our shareholders. This development has been a major factor in the Company not providing many updates because we felt we were so close to substantive news.

However, we have identified another attractive opportunity and we believe we are getting close to striking a definitive agreement in the near future which will lead to a whole new and exciting chapter in the story of Rapid Fire Marketing.

Tom Allinder, CEO of Rapid Fire Marketing, said, "Next month, I will have been the CEO of Rapid Fire Marketing for three years. It has been a long and difficult road for our Company and its shareholders. We were able to clean this Company up and get to fully reporting status, and even though it has taken a long time, we will bring our first herbal vaporizer to the marketplace."

Allinder continued, "We have put a lot of time, work and travel into meetings with potential acquisition and merger candidates over the last nine months or so. We have narrowed the field and I am hoping we can make an announcement soon on that front."

Now it looks like no beta testers? I was supposed to be one of them. Oh well...I think they have missed their window in a lot of ways. The Haze is picking up steam and is a bit more versatile with its ability to handle concentrates. Speaking of which, I asked Tom if he was worried about the dual bowl patent infringement and he said he was not because the Puffer is herb only while the Haze does it all. Still two bowls so not sure how the courts would view that argument.

From what I am reading it seems like the focus is more about striking an acquisition/merger deal rather than releasing a vaporizer. We all know releasing a quality vape takes time but this is dragging pretty long at this point.

I agree with that. The bowls themselves look identical to the freaking haze lol.

A merger would be ideal. The haze has blownup since its initial release. It went from small unknown company to being in an Oscar gift bag. Having dual bowl technology could start a new wave of vapes imo

According to that post, we should have had a Puffer in our hand 4 months ago lol but looks interesting for sure.

Hey guys, I got my pocket puffer today.
I did not receive an email or tracking info on it. It just showed up today.
I have not been able to do any thing but charge it.
Here is an unbox pic of it. I will be back with more updates!

***EDIT IN***
I wanted to add the temperatures.
They are not in the directions.
I emailed Tom and in a flash he emailed me the temps:
1-340F
2-360F
3-400F

He also made me aware that the pocket puffer can be used while charging as well.

Wow nice surprise Doc!

Didn't think we'd ever see this one materialize after the delays and then Haze took off... (Where's the Spyre?!)

Nice temp choices, hopefully they're effective. Nice responsive owner now too. Looking forward to your expert opinion my friend!
