No idea about the btoc one, but I have the Kathy one and I've got nothing to complain about regarding build quality.

They function of the piece doesn't do it for me as much as I thought it would, but I think that's jut the design, not necessarily anything to do with Kathy's model.

Beside the custom Claisen idea, you might consider a GonG with a carburetor tube. @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd over on the JoDa Glass thread makes them for Nano and Solo, not sure if he can do the Cloud+. Oregon Glassblowers is another name I've heard for custom work. Good luck!

Good question about the knock off diffusion pump. I have never seen one of those and it is not a really complicated design. They sell for way too much, why is there no knock off of that design?

I don't know about making them, I just asked if he could get one that another seller offers. Here is a knockoff SB travel bubbler that I've been eyeing for months. But this seller only offers lots of six and has never answered a single message I've sent. This is the piece he said he can get supposedly.

Nice!!! can you give a heads up to the thread if you do get one from Yingman5, Ditto on the downstem and MP being removable ....roll it up in bubble wrap and hit the road, compact :tup:

@blankrider thanks,I have seen both of those, but I really like the removable downstem along with the removable mouthpiece. This is the only piece I've seen that has both.

Hey all! I've done a lot of reading on this thread and still have a question (likely due to my very limited experience with glass)...

Want to go through DH Gate, if possible, to get a piece. Have a custom Nano in the works and have ordered the 18 adjust a bowl. Can somebody please weigh in on an opinion? I'm thinking D020, D020-D, D020-W or something related. Also, as have never used DH Gate...do they do PayPal? Credit card only? Safe?

Thanks for any info/opinions. :peace:

they dont take paypal unfortunately... i have had two successful transactions with sunshine and others have ordered a lot more than me. I would recommend the d022 i love mine :love:the new d020-d is worth seriously looking into

I recently went through the same, long (:o) decision process--in my case water conditioning for an Arizer Solo vape. Here are my own preferences and insights, in hope that they might help. :D

Edit: Oh yeah, and I plan to get an @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd custom carbureted GonG and one of those Pinnacle water tool knockoffs, to see how that works for me.

yes SS is a great vendor but this is the work of CCG. I'm sure that rig works well !! love that xtra glass on top of the can give it a bit more height. 18mm fm on it would be balls.

IKR?

Tiny little bates x worm pumps, sell for hundreds.

Plus its low volume. its basically ideal for the solo.

I'd be all over a chinese low priced version.

I actually just picked up a mini BxW diffusion pump from the Classifieds. It's the most expensive piece of glass I've ever purchased (even though I paid quite a bit less than retail). I never anticipated spending so much on a bubbler, having always leaned toward cheaper glass, but I'd heard so many great things about that particular design...

All I can say is that I have not even one shred of buyer's remorse. The hype is well deserved. In addition, the thing is built like a frickin' tank. "Tiny little", it's not. Similar in size to the D020, it's the thickest, heaviest, most shatter-resistant feeling piece of glass I've ever handled (here's hoping that assessment holds up). And it pulls like a dream. I have a crazy tolerance, but something about this style of bubbler knocks me on my butt. I find that I can take much bigger hits than normal due to the incredible cooling effect on the vapor--and not even realize it.

If there was a cheap knock-off of this design that closely mimicked the experience, I have no doubt that they'd sell a ton of them. The friend who tried my new toy on Friday night would be first in line.
