Is your "hydra tube attachment" glass lined or all plastic? The new glass lined GonG's fit much better than the original all plastic type.
Thanks for the replies, I'm glad I wrote it now,, my gong is the old plastic one,, I've been meaning to order one of the glass gongs, if it fits better then I might be more tempted to use the hydro tube..rather than being cautious about it..

What's up guys recently my Pinnacle Pro has been starting to smell while heating up and in use. There's always been a slight smell while heating up but it's never been this potent before. I've had it for 6 months or so and I'm not sure if it's a cleaning issue or what. Also if it is a cleaning issue what's the best way going about cleaning it? Thanks :spliff:

You can ask this question about cleaning every couple months in threads you start but even better I suggest You read/search through the Pinnacle Pro thread to find the answers or ask the questions you've asked in the threads you start over in the PNP thread instead. Cleaning has been discussed there before and if you ask over there it probably will be covered again.

You may get more response. :2c:...:peace:

Hey there. The potent smell you can smell on warm up may be some of the kief or 'juices' from the plant material you have been vaping. Even after a few months of my PP I have noticed some dark residue in the bottom of the heating element. Not a lot, just a few specs here and there. Maybe this is what you have? Use a torch to take a look in there. If so, get a qtip and clean that out. But don't throw it, its great to vape. I'm sure someone knows more about vaping reclaim than I do. I hope this helps (even a tiny bit),

Good luck.

Hello everyone.
I have a problem.
not work my Pinnacle Pro DLX
indication working (bulbs), but no heat.
probably faulty thermostat.
attempts to solve the problem under warranty to nothing result.
manufacturer does not respond to my messages.
it realistic to replace the thermostat and how to do it?
I live in Russia ...
I use it a maximum of 20 times, this is very disappointing.
I hope for your help and advice.

i have the same problem after 3 months @hifiman

Dave really immediately answer.
this is really good support.
promised to do replace vaporizer.

He responded you? I've been trying to get him to get back to me with the shipping-Tracking number but still no available. According to him he sent out the first replacement unit to me but they misplaced the tracking number, weeks later I still haven't got it. And now they say they will send me a new one. Will see how it goes, please keep us posted @hifiman I love to hear another succesful warranty claim story from them.

Cheers.

I got a response from Dave. he promised to replace the vaporizer.
parallel I received a reply from thevaporblunt@gmail.com, they wrote that I first sent a defective vaporizer to them, and only after that they will change (or repair).
turns out that the Dave said that he would send a new one, and in thevaporblunt@gmail.com
say that they must first get the defective.
wrote another message to Dave, I want to understand what I do. Send your own or just wait for a new one. But Dave is the third day does not respond to my messages.

make sure you get a tracking number. mine was apparently sent out quite fast too, but tracking number got lost, package got lost, a month later i'm still rolling smoke.. *cough *cough, but yea according Dave i'm the only unlucky one that had this problem. so cross your fingers. i'm sure their customer service are at their best now.

All- Like @hifiman and @ashingtray my PNP started to show this same symptom at lunch. Sent "Super" Dave an email at 12:15pm my time, 3:15pm his time. He responded initially in 30 minutes and final confirmation that a replacement was ordered by 4:15pm. That's 7:15pm his time....

WOW!
