Me thinks weed should be legal.

when i find myself in a routine of more consumption than i would intend (too lethargic next day, social anxiety, etc) i simply slow down, and by slow down i actually mean sloooooooow doooooooown everything, i make that part of the ritual initially such as sensory deprivation prior to loading up. forcing a routine to change can sometimes take a different angle of approach otherwise you are back in the same deal again wondering how to alter, rinse repeat. pick a vehicle, set a speed and let the destination be what it is..ought to be positive and thereby a reinforcement of the new routine/path.

I'm pretty sure it's called "self control"....lol a lot of people will probably argue with this but I believe this is the terminology.
When I vape, I want to keep going. First hour I am satisfied and off in the clouds, but there is always the temptation to sit back down and have more. Really; the temptation is there to vape until I have nothing left, then go out, buy more and vape that too.. But exactly; it's self control. Know how much medicates you, and be happy with that!

For me, it's not so much a matter of self control but rather a switch goes off in my brain telling me that I'm high enough and don't want anymore. It's kinda like the same switch that goes off that tell me that I'm full and I don't want to eat anymore or drink anymore.

But then there are certain things with me were the switch malfunctions, things such as ice cream, pizza and cocaine.

My switch malfs on my second drink. Cannabis has never been an issue for me and it has always agreed with my body chemistry. In fact I didn't even like alcohol and refused to use it until I was forced to switch from cannabis, a healthier choice, because of drug testing in the workplace.

Cannabis has always been my choice, although I have dabbled in other substances the constant is weed for sure. Now that I am a mild opiodhead I hardly drink or do anything else, just the mmj in order to take less pills. The real issue is I like both ice cream and potato chips, I should never buy both at the same time!

Here's my take on this subject of craving and habits. For me it's all about repercussions....

If you pig out on ice cream, pizza or potato chips too often for too many years; the result is weight gain feeling unhealthy and possible chronic diseases like diabetes, HBP and elevated cholesterol.

If you drink too much alcohol, the result is being a hung over sack of shit the next day. Of course, if you drink too much too often for too many years you're looking at numerous health problems.

If you vape too much weed the result is you simply get over medicated. I've heard some people mention a weed hangover, but I've never had one(at least that has been my experience). So I guess I'm saying that the effects of overuse of canabis are much more benign to your health than the overuse of junk food and alcohol IMHO.

For that reason, I endulge in junk food and alcohol occasionally, but vape weed whenever I want!!

Edit: Oh yeah, and no cocaine anymore LOL...

No idea what he just said^

But I find myself there all the time- it's a big issue when you get 2 or 3g at once.
I just grind up a fair amount and say "that's my session"
If you gotta fill a grinder to the max, go for it- but I'd suggest trying to stop there haha

..At least until you're starting to come down- then try taking high temp hits to knock you out.
IME many vaporists I know forget that the higher temp vapor will actually cause a distinctly different interaction due to CBD and CBN slowing down the absorption of THC.
What does that mean? The higher the heat the less thc. Maybe I'm doing it at too high a temp

Thanks for all the responses guys, i'm wanting to cut down how much I consume per sesh because I can wake up feeling really cloudy headed and lethargic the next day and I also get past the point of 'sociable' high and end up just couch-locked haha. It's not the lack of variety that's the issue, if anything too much variety is the issue. I have cookies, multiple oils, multiple strains, multiple glass pieces and vapes so i'm always thinking of a new combo to do.
This is why I take tolerance breaks during the week. I'm new at vaping, new at not smoking all the time but it's better because I do it less but feel it more. Just try to grind a certain amount and wait a couple of hours between sessions

It took me a long time to learn this

If you start a bowl at a higher temp you'll get denser vapor with more CBD yes, but it's not converting a notable amount of THC, it's just gonna put out vapor that is that much denser.

Personally I like to start medium low in temp, then go very high, but I get my herb very close to combustion when I vape.

Haha the point of this post was to tell people they shouldn't really worry about vaping higher temp, it'll make the vapor thicker and harsher, and may convert a tiny bit of thc into cbd/cbn; but in my experience using a cano at 8 for a whole bowl seems to hit me the same as ramping it up over time- as long as it's not dragged out for hours- it's just faster and harsher. :p

stretch out your seshs. vaping is more purposeful, not just hit and done .You are getting higher vaping but it way more cerebral head high kind of thing. also vaping isn't insta high like smoking or dabs because of the low temperatures used. And obviously because dabs are concentrated and smoking combust release antibodies that give a false euphoric feeling that people often relate to getting high. not that vaping won't get you right fast. Just different ways of consumption have different effect, edibles, dabbing, vaping, combustion. All different effects even when same strain.

I used to chain vape all day with an MLFB. The little one worked great for keeping my tolerance in check, and keeping me vaped.

I find that I just get fed up with my vaporizer before I end up using too much weed

Don't worry. Once you get your Vapman down and pulling those big hits become second nature you'll not wanna put it down I bet.

I can't get enough sweet vapor even when I've had enough sweet vapor !

I'm like a flood gate. Once I start vaping for the day I will literally vape all day until I go to bed. The downer is I become so adjusted to the feeling of being high that I have to keep vaping more and more because my tolerance keeps on going up and up
