Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

I have a couple friends that bring joints around and they honestly kind of taste like a cigarette now. I'm not a whiner, and will still indulge, but I haven't deliberately smoked on my own even once since I got my SSV back in January.

I could deal with 37 quid I reckon. would make it around 200in all and got the long wand short wand and rhe whip kit and I pimped the lsv with a custom knob and different colour parts.

checked this morning and says left customs processing. unsure what happens next.

You'll get a card through the door from either Royal Snail (Royal Mail) or Parcel Farce (Parcel Force) saying you have fees to pay. It'll say on the card that you have a few options which basically boil down to either paying them online and getting them to deliver it or if it's Royal Mail you can pay them in person and collect it from the depot(note that you'll need to bring cash as Royal Mail don't process cards at the depot).

I accidentally left my life saber on at about the 12 o'clock position for like 3 hours... is this really bad?

Speaking of this issue (it's not really an issue for everybody, but it has always bugged me that the lsv likes to be straight up if left on so the body stays cool to the touch), I finally got to test out a proof of concept that I've been considering for a while now. I have been wanting some kind of vertical stand for it, that's not as cumbersome as a mic stand or as involved as alan's even though I love his wooden lsv stand.

All I did was buy a $6 plumbing part ($7.50 at my overpriced local true value lol), and hacked away at it with my trusty old rotary tool and cordless drill and came up with this:



As you can see, I need to raise the hole I drilled for the indicator light, and remove the sticker residue lol. You can also see that the duct tape gasket right below the light that I'm using for for snugness matches pretty well, I also have some shiny metal foil tape that may give it a more finished look when removed.


The cord stays up in the hole by friction in the groove I cut leading up to it, and even though the lsv slips out of the stand very easily, the extra weight is quite minimal so it's no problem to use it the lsv with the stand attached. There's some room for cosmetic improvement here, but overall I'm pleased and will probably stick with this one. It's a lightweight, simple, stable, and cost-effective solution, highly recommended!

The danger is leaning the unit against something that should not be against heat.

I have left my lsv on for 6-8 hours multiple times its completely fine I usually run it at about 1 o clock it was warm but it didn't burn my skin and my wooden coffee table was fine the biggest risk is a fire danger but I don't think you will hurt the lsv itself

I can leave mine running for 12+ hours on a weekend, sometimes 48 straight, beer noticed any negative effects aside from it being a bit hot to the touch, but it gets that hot after an hour or 2 anyway.

My favourite cheap stand options for my LSV this far are:
1 I put a small screw in the side of the coffee table in my vape station, sticking out just enough that I can hang the LSV by the holes in its heat shield
2 I got a super cheap little wire stand from a $2 shop (was originally part of a cocktail set ) that holds it upright pretty well.

ive been looking into ideas for a lsv stand. I searched on ebay for light saber stands. and theres a guy from the us knocking them up for the star wars fans to display their sabers.

I emailed him and he said he would resize it to accommodate the lsv and with a little of heat resistant tape could be quite a good stand.
I was gonna order one and post a pic of it on here. but lsv not here should be by tues/wed

You can also get a curling iron or hair dryer stand. Some are vented metal tubes and some are springs. I haven't gotten one yet, but looks like it'll work.
Also, if you want to get a bit fancy, they have wire single bottle wine caddies. Most look like old timey tricycles.

have it like this all the time, i turn it on in the mornings and shut it off (not everytime...) before going to bed. it has yet to fall off that hook

I used to hang my lsv off my desk by the cord, still got hot to the touch upside down. In my experience if you want the lsv handle to stay cool the lsv has to be left pointing straight up.
Is your wire stand anything like @funkyjunky's above?

Do you prefer "capless" operation, or is this necessitated by your "stand"?

no, capless is not necessary at all, works exactly the same with the cap on, but i use the threading to mount the pick/stirrer.

hey @funkyjunky do you use your lsv with that 18mm male adapter because you don't have a WPA or because of the hands free it gives you .. just curios iv ran it like that before too and could never vape as good as with the WPA although I love just locking the joints and ripping away

switched some time ago and never went back. i have the wpa but i think moving around the spherical ground doesnt do much, heatspot nevertheless. with the 18maletomale my screens clogg far less and i can wash them out with hot water from tap, i also enjoy the handsfree aspect very much (although i have to hold the 18male adapter so it doesnt come off with the lsv together between hits)

Hey everyone, I bought a new LSV but upon taking it apart found a very dirty ceramic heating element. Here are some pictures:

As you can see it is also not linear.

Is this normal? Are these the factory remnants I'm supposed to "burn off"? Or have I been sold an obviously used product as new? I live in Canada so I did not buy straight from 7th Floor to avoid custom fees.

I agree, and yes if you think there's residue on it just turn it up high and it will burn off.

Hello everybody! I've been using my LSV fairly regularly and my use seems to have worn down the wire and a small bit of it is now exposed. It's the part where the wire meets the LSV. Is this really bad? It still works wonderfully and I still use it normally so I don't want to spend the $30 to send in for repair for nothing.

Thanks for the replies guys. To be sure the thing vapes beautifully. I was reading through some of the thread and wanted to know what the best way to vape concentrates with it is? Do I just sandwich some bho between some bud? Do I use cotton? I've seen people do both but wanted to hear what the best method is.

There is no real safety concern if the cord has pulled out of the strain relief, unless you see the copper part of the wires under the cord. By that we mean the copper wiring inside the white, green, or black wire housings. If none of that is exposed you should be fine to continue use of the LSV. If the copper does become exposed please discontinue the use of the LSV and send it in for repair.
