Has anyone done mods to their temp dial? (aesthetically speaking)
seeking guidance.
I'd like to take off the plastic housing & make a wooden version, though I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to electronics.

I thought coming here would be a good option, anyone?

I have only seen a couple of pics of mine, but I don't think I really want anything distracting from the beautiful wood.

However, I could see using a 3D printed sleeve to protect the wood while traveling... hmmmm.

Poor lighting and a crappy camera, so it is not as magnificient as it is in person.

@Snappo Thank you for the Big Leaf Maple Burl!!!! I really love how the blank turned out! I see lots of faces in the wood, kinda like a bunch of screaming hellish souls, really like the way it looks.

Aside from being a very pretty work of art, she is noticeably smoother to the touch and a bit heavier, almost like an amazingly soft gem stone. It is pleasant to hold.

My overall first impression. :love:

I think you're exactly right. And, you're temperatures are close to mine. For dry with the stem, I like to start at 6 and work up to 7.5. For the bong with water, I like to keep it between 7-8 and push the basket screen closer for more extraction.

I am so stoked!

I just unboxed my piece and she is a beaut!
Just plugged in, heated up, and got down with the GonG with glass screen, and a dry stem.

Very satisfied, and impressed without even having been through the learning curve. Dry is far beyond my expectations.

It is much smaller than I imagined, which was just perfect as it just barely fit on my preferred bub.

It is so very discrete out in the living room, one would hardly notice it when it is not plugged in.

Every now and then I read someone complaining about the nano being too hot or harsh. Check out this guy on youtube. He reminds me of how smooth the nano actually is (not bashing this guy. i find his videos entertaining but I cringe at some of the videos he does lol)

EDIT: I tried getting the video to start at a certain time but it didn't work go to 11:10 to skip straight to it

Tell me about it, mine was shipped at the same time as those that everyone's receiving now (it might even have been the first unit in the line up that Andy posted as I got an Amboyna Burl blank) - only mine has to make it across to the UK before I can play

Ok...VAS has struck. I've been holding out, trying to control VAS but we all know that familiar tug (oh hell, this was a full blown yank!). Having had multiple PDs, a MZ, and a CRZ, I know the logs speak to me.

I read all 299 pages. I've stalked @ACE OF VAPE 's website. I've drooled over @Snappo 's blanks. I've been fascinated watching @Caligula 's vids. Let's face it, I'm hopelessly hooked. :drool:
