Hey thanks richy for the awesome reply ill be looking into those links.
Also thanks for not flaming me about not reading all the thread.
I read through the herbalaire thread from start to finish before buying one and got kinda not got round to reading much of this lsv thread. I read the few pages about an lsv stand.
Looking into getting one made. Pictures to follow........

And vitolo thanks for advice on the wand. I did wonder if I should of ordered the shorty as well.
I had to sell the ssv to get the lsv so hopefully I wont miss it too much. Im selling to a friend so can always have a reunion with it at some point.
7th floor customer service by email started off being quick and helpfull. But since I paid via paypal its all gone quiet and not getting replies.
I might send them an email to see if the order has left them yet and see if they can add the shorty.

Anyways thanks guys
Ill post a pic of my set up once arrived and the stand.

I managed to get hold of 7th floor and added a shorty wand to package. Funny they reply when im prepared to spend more money lol
Still no idea of shipping times.
I guess good things come to those who wait.
Richy had a look through the links you provided for a bubb.
I think I know which will be my first the D020-D.
Im going to wait on pulling the trigger on it as would like to get the lsv and use that with the transfer wand and whip kit first. Then few weeks time wpa and D020-D next purchases.
Hope to get the lsv by next weekend but got a feelin going to waiting a while

im wondering how the cord on everyones Vape is doing ?
it looks pretty solid with the bolt but the cord seems to be pulled on just a little while I hit it I like to hit it almost like im drinking from a cup so my herb doesn't fall onto the other screen this makes it bend and pull
has anyone had any issues with the cord shorting or something similar

@plainlazy. I have the D020-D and use it with my LSV. It works really well. I would recommend that you try to get some 18mm male to 18mm male adapters to use with it as well. Also, look into getting some ELB screens from VapeXhale (they are used in the cloud) because they fit really well inside the adapter. Also you may want to get some Arizer dome screens. You can make a mini-ELB using the dome screens. They work really well in most adapters and are smaller for personal use and conservation. I included a link to a post by a well known FC user and goes over how to make them. I also posted a link to an old post I made showing the accessories I have for the LSV. Since that post, i purchased the D020-D.

I didn't expect to, but you may also find yourself purchasing all kinds of glass for the LSV. IMO, it really shines when used with water.

For the cord issue, I used a thick metal wire and wound it around the base of the strain relief and down the cord about 4 inches. Then used black electrical tape to wrap the wire and cord securely to the base of the strain relief so that the power cord doesn't move at all inside the casing and cannot be pulled out. The ziptie would work well too, I just didn't want the cord in the way on mine.

Mine isn't quite as old as Vito's but I don't have any wear on my cord either. Ya just have to be a bit cognizant of the issue when handling it. Btw, I too use the LSV inverted when using the wand.

I am on the ELBs solutions with wands or 18mm male joints, with a 1/2 full ELB and the long wand and you are a jedi blowing force everywhere !

Like Vito, I've had mine for a few years with no problem. Has anyone sent theirs in to get the strain relief BEFORE they have needed it?

Same here never used a strain relief.., i use a rubber band to stop the cord from moving around..
No problem with the cord whatsoever the LSV is a very sturdy vaporizer!
I dropped my LSV several times from my desk on a hard surface and nothing breaks, even the glass inside!

I ordered mine with the idea that I would probably still have a weekly J. It got here Monday , it was the first time I ever used a vaporizer , I have no interest in that weekly J. I have no other vapes to compare it to, but I've never gotten so messed up before.

Once you vape enough, the thought of smoking will be gross.
