Excellent news, thanks! Hopefully that means we will receive ours on Tuesday bc of this delay... Free accessories (like the new screen kit?) would be awesome as well but unrealistic?

Anyone see their orders ship out today? I haven't seen my ESV ship, but I didn't place my order until 7/31, so they could already be out of stock.

Hello my friends!
I found the elevape smart vaporizer on Rakuten for $258.99 with free shipping.
It also says a super sale in 5 days and some odd hours, so it may be even cheaper.
I will order one over the weekend and see how long it takes to get here.
It claims 1-2 day shipping.
Does anyone know if the phone app or the computer app comes with the vape or is it extra?
Thanks in advance. Below is the link to order the elevape I mentioned.

I downloaded the app from the ipuffusa website. To be honest, I don't remember if a copy came with the unit or not.

Ah too bad I'm still waiting on my VaporNation order (or any word from them at all...). Maybe if Rakuten drops it even lower than the $260 soon I'll just cancel/return my VaporNation order and get it from them...

The app is free and can be downloaded at the link @buzzbomb posted. Also they seem to always be working on some sort of upgrade, this last one fixed the battery level issue. Now mine goes (seemingly) accurately from 100% down to 0

Ah fantastic news @sasNW ! Glad they're still working on perfecting the app and that battery levels are accurate now, I love that not only does this employ "smart" technology for the awesome on demand instant vapor but also to constantly be updating and improving the device. Helps ensure its longevity. (btw, is there an indicator on the device to see battery level without connecting to a computer?)

Also a quick update for any still waiting on VaporNation: they just replied to my email and said the manufacturer said they shipped out on Friday, so they're hoping they receive them today since they're pretty close located in San Diego. He says all orders will be rushed out as soon as the shipment arrives, so we should finally get to play with these any day now...

@sasNW How do you know when a new upgrade is available?

I also just spoke with VaporNation and they expect to receive the ESVs today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed as I want to be vaping this weekend.

I am usually emailing back and forth with Joe enough to where he mentions it to me. The latest one was in beta when I got it but it does seem to have fixed the battery level issue! I will ask joe if they plan on sending out mass emails when the updates happen. I think that's what they said that was the plan for updates before but don't quote me on it

@Shit Snacks there isn't a battery level indicator at this time other then a computer. I know they are working on a few other things already, so hopefully there is something down the road they have in mind. Really love the fact that it's constantly updating, no need to spend another $270 for the next version to tweak a few things!

@Shit Snacks, I have you to thank for finding this vaporizer. Thank you good sir:tup:. All your talk about it in our PMs got me a bit curious. Being pure convection, hit on demand, with the ability to set your own temperatures! I'm all in!!!:D
@buzzbomb Thank you for the info! I was hoping it wasn't a program you had to buy and update, or buy updates for!

Hello all,
I am longtime lurker here who doesn't post often but figured I jump in on this one, since there's not a whole lot of info out there yet on this vaporizer.
First off have to say I am impressed by this unit. Over the years of hanging out here I have acquired a bit of vas but this little black box just might retire a few of my other portable vaporizer.

Here is my thoughts so far after 2 weeks of use

Love the unit up till now most of my portables have been conduction (pax ascent iolite) or units I found underpowered for me (magicbox). The closes to a convection vaporizer I have had any luck with is my 30w thermovape evolution.

Wanted something that was less work and heat than the evolution and the early reviews made me think this just might be the vaporizer I was looking for. After 2 weeks of use I can say now with a smile yep this little box fits the bill.

Pure instant vapor... when I want them no waiting anytime I have 8 seconds I can get a nice cloud. Great for someone like me that needs pain relief at night. Waiting even 90 seconds for the paxs light to turn green when neuropathy pain hits seemed like forever. This feature alone was worth the price.

Conserving meds...Even with unit being new using about a 3rd less meds. Once the wowness factor wears off figure use even less.

Computer controlled unit ..honestly at first thought the whole app thing was little unneeded and would rather just had onboard control of heat adjustment. Well after having an issue the other night with my unit can now say my minds been changed.
I did something at a friends house when trying to show off the units computer software that caused my unit to stop working. All I could get was a flashing yellow light no heat nothing showing up when hooked up to computer. After messing around with units figured ah well so much for this and started cleaning it up for return.

Customer service...After unit died I called Joe the next morning to start the rma process. After explaining what issue was he said no need to send unit back this is 21st century technology and he would just send me a link to download new software allowing me to reflash unit back to working state. Well it worked have to say I was really impressed. Joe's customer service was great he's honestly excited about the product he sells and it shows. He took the time to walk me thru installing software reflashing unit and answer my questions on unit.

Dislikes...well nothings perfect a few things I didn't like where easy fixs. Things like the usb cable being too short and metal stiring tool where easy replaced by myself. The lid can be a tad hard to remove and does require stirring to get the most out of material used.

There's are a couple things that concern me about unit still the slider control for setting temp. on mine is worn down a bit already causing it to be hard to slide by hand. I noticed some of the paint wearing of inside of the bowl.

Final thoughts...really happy I added this to my collection and hope this post may help someone decide if this is the right vaporizer for them.

Did you use the "paint" word on purpose? I thought it was all aluminium, possibly anodized or electro-plated?

On the paint if you look back at post 327 of this thread there a close up of inside of bowl compare that to post 88 and you can see where paint as worn off inside of bowl. There a silver area around the top of the bowl that was black when unit is new. I feel most of the paint comes off when stirring and happen's when unit is new. If it's a risk factor not really sure last thing I want to do is scare someone away from buying this unit.

Honestly might not be paint it was black when new its silver now something came off.... guess paint was first thing that came to mind. Sorry if paints not the right word for the black substance covering the vaporizer.

@sasNW maybe you can ask joe about the "paint"? or is it a coating...
and is it possible to avoid this using perhaps glass or wood or something other then metal to stir,,,

I don't know about health issues but the black is not paint but anodized aluminum.

*edit* I don't believe it's that big of a problem, it's just a tiny little bit of aluminum that's
been "shaved" off by opening and closing the lid, I would think that if this was a problem, most people here on fc didn't have an aluminum grinder because twisting the grinder also releases
tiny amounts of the aluminum. Again, this is my assumption, please correct me if I'm wrong.
