Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

Try putting the bigger battery in the Persei. What happens when you press the button now?

We are checking to see if it is the Top, or the batteries.
I believe it's the top. It does the same thing with the other batteries. Just the solid blue light around the button.

That was a cool video, loved to see the vapor "fall" into the main chamber. Rig seems too bulky for a pen tho. Im thinking the Nibbler G will be more my speed?

I agree it's not as suited to portable use as the standard Nibbler form factor. I do think the diffusion is better than the standard Nibbler-X. I assume the G will be similar to the X but haven't tried it (or the XL for that matter).

my apology for double posts -- :( my bad

What angle of use produces best results?
with Herc 74
I heat up with almost 90 degree angle flat -- straight ahead -- as it reaches the proper temp n vape is being produced more n more with each "cigar pull" --

I now keep at this temp and start to dip the herc74 / persei down a drop ( so now instead of sticking out of my mouth flat like a joint -- next -- now it is at an angle with the tip in my mouth and the bottom at an angle 60 degree towards the floor if u followed the angle it would be a few feet ahead on the floor ….. !

as this will make the oil move around and hit all the parts of the titanium but more import and touches the middle rod ----- So now to produce serious clouds!!!!!!!! -- take hits from above with it straight down --- now the tip is in your mouth and the bottom would touch your feet if you followed it all the way top the floor …

I now move back n forth at slight angles to move oil around n hit sweet spots -- all the while giving cool off hits in between (ONCE U GET THE TRUE CLOUDS GOING ) AND when u not hitting or doing cool down -- keep straight again just as u started to keep any hot oil from finding the reclaim using gravity

gd luk my friend

I been using the a Nibbler XL on my Hercules SR74. I am using a white rod 7.4. So what is everyone's technique to avoid leaks into the lower chamber? I never get leaks with a dry hercules. But I get a couple of drops of hot oil into the lower chamber with the Nibbler xl. Anyone care to give me some pointers? I am all ears. Thanks FC

I've heard the Hercules is capable of vaping dry herb do I need anything different from the 74x to do that? I've been wanting to try my Hercules but been too busy to pick up any oil

this is caused by pressure, you just need to cool it down little bit more with the Xl.

Placed order for nibbler xl!!! it was that or the core... only allowed to order one this time and i figured nibbler would be the best first improvement. Are the stock o-rings working appropriately? I remember a while back i saw someone posting about that issue.

Oh wow, they added a unit in the Desktop Vaporizer section.

"We are working on a Desk top vaporizer that will incorporate all our knowledge and experience in herbal vaporization. Please stick around and watch it develop as we are sure to make heads turn."

Is that the Flexo E-Nail we've been hearing about or something dry herb oriented?

I demand! I'm completely willing to experience a day to a week of inconvenient use while I get the hang of it. I like the idea of partial kits too, because of I'm understanding you that would mean I could turn it into a 74 if/when I desired, say when I'm on a trip for easier on the go assembly, but when time and convenience don't matter so much also have the full power of the sr71 white rod which I am hoping will be a nail killer.

I'm in love with my new Hercule, I'm thinking to get the x upgrade....

....and more batteries cause I only use the stock batteries (they are not AW, isn't it?)

after at least 2 week of dialy use there is nothing in the bottom chamber....but I made a propre cool down after each use.

Can I use it inverted hits after hits?

Thanks

The rebuild kits are for kiss carts (wire, ceramic, & a couple other small pieces). @THC SCIENTIFIC is already a step ahead of you (and the rest of us).

I will buy a partial SR71 too!! SR71 is a real beast I tell you guys! I only had it for 2 days! Very powerful. This thing keeps producing vapor long after you let go of the power button. Must be disciplined with cool down hits and minimal button time. I see it as portable nail!!! Much more power than the SR74. Release the partial units or a 1.5 ohm rod for the rest of my SR74 fleet!

I just got my nibbler xl and i flooded my lower chamber with oil on the first go. never happened to me before in all the times i've used the herc. learned the hard way. super extra cool down hits in between

my core does this as well. i hope it's normal. i also get a misfire every time if the core is plugged all the way into the tube. i have to leave a couple millimetres of space to get it to work. is that normal?

@Fredster951 I'm guessing it made it. Having a little sellers remorse, but I can tell it'll be put to better use. Plus I'll happily wait for the okeanos/triton to be released even though the release date got pushed back to the 31st. The new w9 mobile site looks good though.

Yes it made it @OB. Thank you very much. Solid unit. Appreciate the quick shipping and communication. I saw that about the okeanos and the 8. The date is pushed back till the 31st. Guess we have no choice but to wait patiently. Really eager to get the 8.

@SkrACHIN & anyone else with nibbler xl experience... Are you using the o-rings that shipped with? Did you have the nibbler full of alot of water, a little less, or just the recommended level? I noticed a while back plugging the herc into my honeycomb bubbler that the water pressure can cause that oil to drop down, i didnt think the nibbler would be as much of a problem with that little of water in it. Is there a way to angle the nibbler to release the pressure without leaking water either into the herc or out the mouth piece? Im not a big fan of the cool down hits, and never had a problem with a dry herc leaking, at least with decent batteries.

Im sure alot of my q's will be answered in a few days, i guess till then ill keep praying to the usps gods to handle my package swiftly and with the same care they would show their infant child...

Can you show me how much water you are putting in there? and are you cooling it down a little more?

i relocated the top oring down to a groove i carved into the heatshield body, to prevent the top from pulling off inside the nibler.

to remove the Nibler from the Herc: If you tilt it away from you, with the side saying USA facing you, it won't pull water from the bub into the Herc

Dont have it yet... just gettin the jist of how others have made it work so i have ideas in case. I just use a 1/4 in tube to run it to a honeycomb bubbler, i know its janky but i just pulled the trigger on nibbler last night, maybe being packed as we speak?????
I havent had to mod any of my w9 gear yet, save for squishing the coils, and i dont expect to have to mod the nib, just wanted to see how others got around.
