Communication has been excellent, prices are great and i have been sent pictures via text from the artist of various sections of the work!

For a custom order it was very fast! Although i did not ask for too much, just the colours i was after and then i gave the artist free reign to do whatever he wanted!
TWO days later the piece was finished!!
I was sent a text with a picture of the USPS shipping and the tracking number!

I should receive it next week and will post some better quality pictures and a function vid!
It is a Klein Incycler!

I've got a custom Recycler and a mini tube from OGC. I enjoy both pieces, though function is very hard to see in my Recycler. J Proper does all kinds of different stuff.

Mine is a custom, worked Klein incycler!

I suggested colors and he went mad!!!
Lots of worked areas and a kind of slymed incycler bulb done in blue!

I was only sent down pics taken with a phone so the color are way off. If I compare the mouthpiece shot, which looks absolutely amazing to the pic of the base they do not match at all. They were both done in the same colors so I know it is going to blow my mind!!

And it has an 18mm female joint!!

Ok so I believe my favorite heady glassblower already has a thread on here and that would be bob the glassblower or BTGB. If your an 80s or 90s kid you will love his work. He's most popular for his aqua teen hunger force master shake rigs. Here's some collabs with Pakoh who is another amazing glassblower and collabs with pretty much everyone

Next well go with another amazing glass artist who has a similar yet unique style and that's tammy baller. My favorite thing she's made is satan and sad am from South Park but I'll let her work speak for itself

Lastly I'll add smart glass or jsmart glass. He makes the cleanest cartoon character rigs I've ever seen, from pinky and the brain, to the road runner and Wylie coyote, tweety bird and Sylvester. Oh and my newest acquisition, Darkwing duck!

Oh, not posted anywhere but some of those "Weapons Of Peace" rigs have tags in the $20-30k range. Heh, I bet you thought I meant 10k.

Nope, lol, I was thinking way higher than that, more like 50K...even at 10K, no way, unless I hit the lotto! Bro, I am absolutely clueless what this stuff is worth. I came from the Graffix and old Jerome Baker glass days...that was the most expensive I'd see. I was out of the game for the past 12 years and I am blown away at how much has changed in herb culture (concentrates, dabs, etc). Now, I know these guys put a lot of work into these things, but are some of the prices justified? Yes, they can be classified as art, but would an art gallery owner actually display these? (I would say it would be a very good possibility only if said art gallery was in an herb friendly state). Now. please don't think that I think these glass blowers are raping us and I can only hope they are pricing fairly.
An example of what I think is overpriced is something from like Mothership...I mean 2K for a small oil rig that I have seen similar for 2-300? I know the Mothership brand is quality and made in the US from US glass, but they have to be making a killing off of those.
This is just my perception looking in from the outside and as said earlier, I was out of the game for a while.

Edit: Sorry for the rant, I'm still at work and it has been a long couple weeks, but I triumphed over this old equipment that they wanted to re-purpose for other crap (servers and SAN).

I know what you mean. I was in the same boat as you, coming from things like JBD and RooR being at the "high end" of the glass scene when i was active in the community back in the late 90s and very early 00s. I remember being shocked to see a JB original for sale @ something like $800 (LHS price) once! My how times have changed.

Anyway, he (Mickelsen) doesnt just do bongs... but yes his stuff is displayed across the country as art in carious galleries.

Bad ass! Oh and my rant wasn't directed at him per say, just at the high arse prices in general. Right there with you brother Caligula, I had a Jerome Baker that was called, ironically, mothership. Sadly long gone. Ya I participated starting in 1976 at 11 years old all the way until military service from 1991-1993, then back on again until 2002, just started again January this year.
