Vaping for a week without cheating totally makes sense to me, and I'm going to try that. I'll then be able to judge what I need and tweak my setup from there. Thanks for the advice man, and you opened up my mind to just experimenting more. Once I get my vape, I'll definitely come back here and post my first reactions to let you guys know how it goes! :D

Super. Best wishes with your 'voyage of discovery'.

Looking forward to hearing about your results, but if we don't hear from your for a while we'll know why.......

Follow the results you like. Remember, 'the road of excess leads to the Palace of True Enlightenment'.

Good plan. Since i got my SOLO about 2 weeks ago i haven't used my watertool. Still using stock stem and loving it. i have the GONG but didn't feel the need to use it.

"1989 CABERNET" is it the automatic cork remover or the manual tool?
Maybe it's whats inside the bottle?
CANNABIS is the HOLY GRAIL!

There is no denying that it is the stuff we vape that is the most important thing above all else. I'd rather have a tied-up Thai Stick than any '-izer. Still, I garner enjoyment trying new vaporizers.

Why I get a kick out of that, I don't know. It's not Rocket Science. It's not like the next Great Thing will somehow be a mixture of cold fusion and Tricomes. It all comes down to THC sloughing off at various temperatures.

I am an unabashed Gadget Guy. In hindsight, I buy the most stupid stuff. I don't advocate indiscriminately buying more than one vaporizer. That really is foolish.

I don't own more than 1 car. I have no motorcycle or RV or camper or boat, although I live on a river. I have absolutely no debt. No baseball card or stamp collection. Yeah, I got kind of an acoustic guitar thing going on. So's I can rationalize with the best of them why it's economically justifiable to own many.

But to reiterate, I'd rather have a pound of dynamite buds than a pound of Top Shelf Vaporizers.

First couple of years I used the SOLO (DRY) Now it's water path for everything. I can see how coming off blazing dry vaporizing seem more fullfilling. After your THC levels adjust you may like the water path?

Simple Cheap Water SOLO Pairing!

Your words are great were on the same page!
I joke a lot of the time with a bit of truth. However I love my gadgets as well. I was buying all I could at one point. Then I ran out of space to store it all? Then I got into all these new strains. It was like wine tasting. CANNABIS became my focus instead of devices.
Botany became my passion.
Devices were Number ONE at one point.
Even my excess cars. (I'm reducing)
I love this site and learn everyday from the people including yourself! I like simple at this point in my life.
The SOLO is easy to use and the flavor is good enough for a portable. (Plus I have a lot of tools for the SOLO)
Where was I?
O I remember?
Yuh? Where was I?
O I wanted to get so many more vaporizer however I did not know where to put it all?
When I got my dream vaporizers they made me cough up my lungs!
I was so bummed!
They were great vaporizer however I couldn't handle them.
Having said that doesn't mean you or someone else would not benefit from them?

I wasn't going to respond to that!
However were talking about wine!
Glass for WINE!
GLASS for FLOWERS! (CANNABIS)

I know, and agree totally...
I just couldn't resist the opportunity to pull your leg (figuratively) a bit there, and would have kicked myself later if i'd have let the chance slip by ;)

Glass all the way for me too, and like yourself, have been finding most of my usage has been through water lately.
However I am going to get a WonG made by Ed for both my solo and my (hopefully) soon to arrive e-nano, just for emergencies and all that - one too many PV GonGs broke I think. I wouldn't care but they cost a fortune here in the UK (essentially we pay the same in £'s as you pay in $'s) and are impossible to get like everywhere else...

The WonG 18mm would be nice to own!

Lookhigh the Solo is a very sturdy unit. Sometimes folks need to send them back but not very often. The company stands behind their product if you buy at an authorized vendor. I hear the Pinnacle Pro will be going with materials more like the Solo's body with their next revised version.

I use my Solo most of the time or my Ascent. It's important to know the vape that you are using is safe. That's the reason we decided to vape in the first place. So often some of these companies are in too much of a hurry to release their vaporizers in the market place and then there are problems.

Fuckcombustion and vaporize safely.

I take about a 20 second draw then I hold and release after about 4 seconds. I don't look at the clock. I just had to time myself. Trying out some Jilley Bean it's high in CBD and THC. I had used it once before. I've been having a hard time finding it. It's suppose to help with pain and inflammation.

I am very new here. I am thinking about getting a solo but only want to use a water tool. Much better on my throat

I am so glad I joined. I have an evo exhale and a pax which I just had to send back. Been looking at the solo for a while but just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I think it's most like my xhale but not as heavy or big.

How do we make it cheaper?:) Also want the wooden stem.

Yeah I think its a M1A4 and it is a "Use while charging" Although I never take "advantage" of the feature.

Thanks for the additional information, that seems to fit the pattern. How old (in both months and recharge cycles)? I get it that they both might be 'educated guesses'.

TIA

First off welcome. I think you're on the right track with Solo, and sure not to be disappointed.

PIU will match prices if money is really tight. Ed is your 'go to stem guy'.

Looking forward to your opinions on the Solo.

Hi guys, first post here at FC! I ordered an Arizer Solo off ebay and it should be here tomorrow or Wednesday. Can anyone tell me the basics of taking care of it when I get it? I'm supposed to plug it in after I get it and let it charge till the green charging light is solid, meaning fully charged? And then I should let it run for a full cycle at 7 to burn off any residue or something?

Would this work using my 14mm gong from planet vape?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Micro-Showe...520?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c4240ed00

1 x OEM Glass HydroTube Attachment (does not include Pong Adapter)
Technical Specifications:
Length: approximately 5 in
Width: approximately 1 in
Female End fits any 14 mm Male Adapter

It's cheaper than the hydrotube that comes with PONG ADAPTER. I plan to use it for my SOLO 14mm. It's also much cheaper than the ones selling for 70 that include pong adapter, not sure if that's for someone who owns the pinnacop pro

Welcome to FC, All these new folks getting to know the Solo. FCer OF suggests to charge to a solid green and let it stay on the charger for at least 4hours past the solid green. Do the two burn offs on heat level 7. Clean your class with ISO. Then you will be good to go.

The stock mouthpieces work just fine. Get to know the unit for a few weeks and do some research on FC. Read about 20 pages back. Read also at the beginning to see the features. They haven't updated the use and charge at the same time in the directions. The air flow is much better since the unit has been updated.

Ox45, The Pinnacle WT Micro Shower glass will work fine with a 14mm gong. Try Planetvape. Or try JoDa Glass, or Ed TnT for a Wong or Gong.

On the cheap glass sub thread is the D020 bubbler, it's only $30 with shipping through DHgate online. Even if you get too medicated and you break it, you're not out a lot of money. It works wonderfully with the Solo. It takes the 18mm Gong or Wong.

Thanks for quick response. I actually have PV 14mm Gong, but just wondering if I needed Pinacles Pong Adapter to get it to work.
