The titanium Kiss carts require less wraps to work. They are not the same as the regular nichrome coils.
one coil is not evenly spaced and is touching another. Is it okay to use a tool to space it out or will I snap it?

Also, I will say that although the 3.7 v coils did heat evenly and I was actually surprised, I still would like a bit more kick. But I have to say UP makes a fantastic product.

Ok, I finally received my order placed a week ago. No fault of Up Tech, its USPS that needs a week to get a package across town. I was sure it was lost and then lo and behold it shows up today.

So on to the good stuff. I finally added a Kiss Globe (3.7) to my arsenal along with the new Nibbler-GN to replace my Nibbler-X that ate porcelain a couple of months ago. First off, the Kiss Globe carts are much nicer than the original, and I think I like it better than the titanium which takes a long time to heat up (relatively speaking). I think the cup is deeper, but the coil seems placed quite close to the bottom so I think that it should be more efficient. Heat up time is more like the original Kiss than the titanium. But the best thing of all is the Nibbler-GN, if you are a Kiss Glove fan do yourself a favor and spend your next $90 disposable income on a Nibbler-GN. It is a really sweet little piece and is really nice to watch the milky goodness streaming out of the Kiss. A video is required but I am too busy with work right now, hopefully next week I can make one.

Any chance of ever seeing the return of the sr71? I hate knowing I cannot have that kind of power just because of a slightly larger learning curve bothering some people. Every one that got the hang of it seems to love it.

Gary has been thinking about releasing 1.5 ohm SR71 style rod for the current SR74. Maybe someday or never. Seems like too much power can run away quickly from a new operator. I suggest you search for a SR71. But man are their HARD To find. I barely acquired one after 2-3 months of patience. Not too long ago someone posted a SR71 for $200!

What changed between the sr-71 and the sr74 besides the rod resistance ? I've seen people say a 71 can use the 74 rods but the 74 can't use 71 rods

not only what @DieHard said but in addition the SR71 you needed to adjust the bottom adapter from time to time, and also when you took it apart to see whats in the bottom chamber means that most likely end up cleaning it before reusing.

It is a beast and hardly ever had issues once you get it going and get the hang of it, but it is not for people who like to look inside the bottom chamber every day.

Damn, wish I had caught that one in the classifieds. Internet is sporadic where I'm at right now due to some accident. I may settle for an Sr 74 in the meantime but damn that 71 feels more desirable to me. Ah well, I can't do much until the network gets fixed so I can cash my checks and load a card up any way. Perhaps I'll get lucky....

Is there a built in concentrate tool on it? I'm really hoping that's the mystery feature. That or being able to switch between 7.4 and 3.7 with some number of button clicks.
