The flavor with the glass whip is outstanding, but I mostly use the GBD hydratube.

New article about the Herbalizer. :)

VAPORIZER DEVELOPED BY FORMER NASA ENGINEERS HITS THE CANNABIS MARKET

A selective review committee at United Patients Group, a trusted online resource for medicinal cannabis information, is recommending the new Herbalizer Vaporizer to patients looking for the perfect vaporizing system.

The sleek clamshell design, adjustable heat settings, aromatherapy mode, and discreet stash spot make “Herbie” the perfect companion for cannabis patients of all experience levels—earning it the United Patients Group Seal of Approval.

“We are proud to give our Seal of Approval to the Herbalizer,” declares John Malanca, founder and owner of United Patients Group. “Herbie is the most advanced vaporizing system on the market, but it’s so easy to use that even novice cannabis patients will love it.”

The Herbalizer is designed with smartvape technology to deliver precise temperature vaporization. This precision enables specific cannabinoid extraction, and has control and consistency in the relief it delivers. It functions in two modes, vapor-therapy and aroma-therapy, so patients can choose between three delivery modes: a balloon, a silicone whip, or freestyle.

“Herbie gives patients the right dosage of medicine and then gives them a relaxing and rejuvenating ambiance with its aroma-therapy feature. This one’s a game-changer,” says Malanca.

Just about to pull the trigger on this thing. Two more questions hopefully you guys can help me with.

1) Does the herbalizer smell much when not in use? I'm worried about storing it. Most of the smell must come from the magnetic bowl, right? I can easily store that. Does the base unit smell much though?
2) When you close the lid, is it airtight (smell proof)?

I keep my Herbie in the box when not in use and it does not smell at all. A little ISO and a Q-tip about once a week keeps the bowl looking (and smelling) like new. But no, the lid is far from air tight.

These should be nearly identical to the stainless steel mouth piece on some of the herbie whips. The only difference I can see is the o-ring on my herbie whip is opaque silicone and not black.

I believe any 510 drip tip will work. I ordered these glass ones a week or so ago, hopefully they're nice.

FYI - I am 99.9% sure this is the one they are using with the new Herbie shipments:

Takes the whip to a new level, a really nice touch.

Do you guys purposely try to dry out your weed or do you prefer something a bit more moist in order to get the best hits? Also whats everyones favorite temps? Does anyone have certain temps for certain activities? I love this thing.

What about it makes the experience different?

Any word on improved bag valves yet? Still loving this device BTW... but you already knew that.

Well the ultimate whip experience is that is so easy to operate, store, go up and go down on the valley. You put the bowl, take a hit, disconnect the bowl, clear the pathes and save for later or go for one more. repeat as long as vapor producted.

simple as that.

I shall mention few notes from herbie usage:
-the green herbie valve have been adopted for volcano usage with many success, simple tube opens the valve. blow the bag then reconnect to the whip, the bag lying on the floor, less noisy. the downside is that one valve is cracked because the tube forcing the valve to open. cracked but functionnal.
-blowing ballons became difficult to rival volcano digit in easyness, richness of vapor compensate few but saturating the upper screen is direct fact onto the whip mode or bags.
Several solutions. 1: do not care and gently tap the bowl on a hard surface to fall off stuck particles 2: encapsulate your load into a mini-ELB (delay vapor output),3: put the miniELB empty over the load+aromad pad to secure position of mini-ELB (no delay).
-The new choice of whip attachement: only finest silicone tubing. making legos with size, easy to install, connect and disconnect, reclaim, maintain. Low costs.

Few photos to share here:

These look a lot like the original Herbie bags.

Has anyone tried them? Definitely a better price than new Herbalizer bags if you don't mind a little work.

Ooo, cheap but specifically designed off brand replacement bags? But yeah, someone mentioned they're not even as big as the stock Herbie bags? I wonder if they're crunchy like the Volcano bags, or soft like the Herbie ones?

To anyone who may be interested in the whip design that I posted, I contacted Herbalizer just to ask about it. They said that the whip that I received was the first design, and then because they thought it wasn't economically viable they switched it to the current white whip design.

I got mine a month or so ago and got that whip? So that's the new design? Do people like it better? I mean, I still want to get a new whip (and some of this HT glass stuff and the adapters being thrown around), but I was curious.

I thought I'd share some shots showing herbie's range of use...Enjoy!

Speaking of pretty glass things and adapters I'd like to get, do tell, where did all these pretty things come from and where/how can I get some?

(I noticed you added a link to the hammer one, but I more meant, aside from the pretty shapes, how do I even go about finding out what I should get if I want an adapter/glass attachment/improved bowl/whip system for my Herbie?).

Any discounts? Reason asking cause I'm about to get one as well.

Yes sir. However, it will depend partly on how much of a rush you're in for one.

I bought mine at Massdrop.com, where generally the more people they commit to purchasing an item, the larger discount the group receives. I think it changes deal-to-deal. On this herbalizer (which is the limited edition, wasn't expecting that but I also don't know the difference between the limited and regular edition.) there were enough buyers to max out the discount for a price of $599. I believe the herbalizer retails around $729, so that's a fair amount of savings.

However, it took a month or so for the order to finalize, get shipped to massdrop, and for massdrop to forward on to me. For me that wasn't a big deal, as I have a few portable vapes I'm very happy with.

That being said, this vape with the whip attachment is incredible smooth and satisfying. I will have to try it out again this evening. I'm thinking tonight I'll try busting out a bag and trying that, as I never have used a bag before.

One thing I did do, that is wholly unnecessary, but I just wanted to see if it fit correctly, is to attach the silicone mouthpiece from my Flowermate Vapormax to the metal mouthpiece on the whip. From there I attached my F-bomb water tool. Was very nice. My draws at 375 from the herbalizer were quite smooth anyways, but I always like to get the F-bomb in on the action when I can.

I'm also quite surprised at how small the Herbalizer becomes. When my girlfriend came over last night she kept asking where the new vape was (She thinks I have a problem with purchasing new vapes, she may be right). When I showed it to her she was quite surprised. Made me promise not to buy any more vape equipment for 6 months. I think I can accommodate that...

I'm quite happy with the purchase though.

Question to you folks though. Does anyone have any oil recommendations for the aromatherapy? I'd love to put that feature to some good use. The lemon oil they sent with the unit was nice, but I was hoping it would be a little more assertive I guess, maybe I didn't use enough oil.

@virtualpurple I've used the green silicone mouth piece from a bag after it was too sticky to use anymore. I just removed the bag and cleaned the silicone part. Then I added a few drops of lemon oil to a cotton ball and put it in the mouth piece on a clean bowl. Then Just turned the fan on low heat and it works way better than the aromatherapy in my opinion.

I have been Massively Dropped on. Please, oh please, let this be the Last One. Let me realize that, for me, ANY vaporizer with variable heat control that can be mated with glass and water provides me with exactly what I'm looking for. More of 'em really won't change what I like.

Then again, my interest was peeked when I heard the PAX has a 10 yr warranty.

Have I no shame?

EDIT: I VAPE LIKE A BOSS.

If you are looking for a cure to a mild case of VAS, then I think you are in luck. :) This device is so robust and powerful, it will replace a small army of devices.

If you VAS is a very acute case, then this might buy you the time to recover.

But if your VAS is a *cough* chronic case, I don't think there is any cure for that other than "ALL OF THEM!"

Any discounts? Reason asking cause I'm about to get one as well.

No current discounts. And the device is so new (and in high demand) that I wouldn't expect to see any more on it for a while.

I bought mine at Massdrop.com, where generally the more people they commit to purchasing an item, the larger discount the group receives.

Again: Mass Drop doesn't always get permission and will quite just often grey market the products. The manufacture does not have to honor any warrantee sold though unauthorized resellers. Goes to show how great the Herbalizer customer service is that they said they would still take care of this batch of people. But, BUYER BEWARE.

(Oh, and note how vague any warrantee documentation is at MD. They claim it is a "full" warrantee, but as other purchasers of other vapes have found out only well afterwards, it is a "MassDrop Warrantee", not the manufacturer's. Which means when something goes wrong -- if MD still backs the device -- it has to source another grey market unit. It's all a bit shady.)

I did not know that about MassDrop. Forewarned; forarmed. Sometimes there must must be a viable relationship: I'm pretty sure VapeXhale was in on it's particular drop.

Hey all!

Just wanted to post an update about the Herbie 18mm Adapter! The design is finished and I've ordered the first ceramic model - hopefully the prototype is a perfect fit (but who knows!) - I will have the ceramic prototype sometime in early September!
