Ok @Vape Dr. .. ive been toying with the idea of getting a 7.4 rod... what does 7.4 do for you that 3.7 couldnt?
@THC SCIENTIFIC : would it be possible to order a 7.4 rod with the upper chamber assembly so all i have to do is swap the easy part?

@bdmonkeyj3w, It provides more power (obviously) which gives larger vapor production. I generally use the 7.4 white rod when I'm using it a lot, constantly filling the chamber usually with 3 or more people.
I use the 3.7 black rod when I'm vapeing alone or with another person. Plus IMO the black rod tastes a bit better, but sacrifices battery life. there is a use for each. I love them both for different occasions.:)

So is using my 7.4v rod @ 3.7v via the core or iris about the same as using a native 3.7v rod? Or is it different due to resistance?

I figured 6.2v for the white SR74 rod to perform like the 3.7v black rod, however I recall Gary talking about how the resistance changes with heat, so this is only true if both rods exhibit the same non-linearity ;)

What were you saying about ordering 2 of these upgrades so I can switch between the 3.7 and 7.4 rods more easily? Is it recommended to get the ohm tester now for assembling the herc?

the ohm meter isnt needed, but it does help and gives you a better idea of what could be causing issues.

If you have two sr74x's this way you can upgrade one and the other top section will be used to interchange quickly.

All you would need is a AAF if you wish to control the air flow but not needed.

Never really looked at it that way.

Okeanos + triton = Gloc.

Haha that's funny.

But the Triton is designed to work with previous Okeanos and second gen Okeanos.

What about the little nut or whatever it's called that screws on to secure the rod and the AAF? (I didn't get an extra with my upgrade.) When we buy a replacement AAF is the nut included? If not where could we buy one? Thank you brotha-
