its not that its a difficult to put the herc together like I saw w9 saying the most unskilled person can put it together lol that's not the problem I think every one understands the steps from start to finish and can assemble it but its getting the cart to get the right resistance and heat that's the problem it seems some need alittle more attention to get it to fire than others
in my case its purely luck I can fiddle with it for 45 minutes before it will work I adjust the rod height and adjust the mini pin with a tooth pic over and over until it works and im not changing the way I set it up or the order im literally just moving the rod and the pin a hair over and over again... until it works

I'm with you @bdmonkeyj3w I have had my SR74X for 4 months I think and haven't had any problems at all with it what so ever. I've swapped black and white rods constantly and have had 0 problems with it. I love it to death. Not one single problem and I use it VERY often! And I don't have a meter yet!

Ok @Vape Dr. .. ive been toying with the idea of getting a 7.4 rod... what does 7.4 do for you that 3.7 couldnt?

at this point we dont have half chambers,
If you have the sr74 then you can order two sr74x upgrades and just switch them out.

@THC SCIENTIFIC if I was to send in a v1 chrome head for warranty would I get a chrome head back or a silver one if so is there some kind of upgrade for the whole unit so I can have a matching head please let me know

Spend $65 and purchase the service, send in the complete unit including top and body parts, with a note stating that you got drunk and ran it over with a steam roller, and we will repair it to any color of your choice in our arsenal.
Ps dont forget to roll over it with a steam roller.
A regular truck wont do. Not strong enough to kill a Persei.

Errr.... but 74x kit doesnt get me all the little assembly pieces no? And at that price point id probably just get a whole 7.4 herc...

Final version will be with smaller logo. It's in production minor hiccups but it's going.
For now we are 13 days behind.

That code pushed me over the edge I was trying to hold out for the touch tops but couldent pass up on 30% I pulled the trigger on a red persei with a Hercules, extra batteries, and the ohm meter.

My core says "LoV" every time I plug it in.
It worked perfectly fine when I woke up less than an hour ago. I used it as always, unplugged it as always, brought it to my car and plugged in the 12v which i keep in the cigarette plug as always, and it says LoV.
Take it back inside and test it on multiple different outlets

Disappointing. I didnt even bother grabbing a battery tube or batteries either cause i had grown so used to this :'(
ill probably end up screaming at someone at work today lol

USB port on it seems to work but I get nothing through the main plug

Yeah. I'm sure they will, they're always phenomenal; today was just a HORRIBLE day in the office and my nerves would not settle. Mental note to always have batteries and a bottom spring just in case I suppose. I can't get a Heisenberg compensator locally but I have an extra flux capacitor do you think I could retro fit it?
