Ordered 3 of them for me and my mates. We got them last week (one day after my extreme-q showed up).
1st thing is the obligatory "holy crap that thing is tiny"! Its so much smaller than you would ever imagine it to be! It hits like a champ as well! Once I got the hang of controlling the temp through breathing, I was blowing out some pretty reasonable clouds and getting quite smashed off an amazingly small amount of bud. I was able to hit the same trench almost constantly throughout work yesterday! I love it! One of those products that if i were to ever lose it I would replace it in a heartbeat because it is so good you will wonder how you ever did without one!

hi,
im looking at getting a mfb and i am "prepping the beach" so to speak and looking at the different batteries and chargers...has anyone tried the E8GE 1000 batteries? i looked thru the various posts and did a cross reference search but didnt have any luck... they get great ratings on websites, but i wasnt sure if anyone had actually tried them to make sure the fit ok.... anyway thanks guys

That's what I bought for my LB [pics]... I haven't really compared them but they seem to work just fine or the same as the batteries included with the LB.

Hey, been using the LB for a few months, love it... learned a couple drawing techniques that make thick hits

anyways, I still use my Extreme v3 as my main unit, because of versatility.

although the LB is great, the compounds or im (feeling) are those of a higher temp vaporization. I dont mind this too much, because it does get me high, but I simply prefer the vapor of low temp vaporization.

on my extreme, this is easy, just set the temps lower (170-190 spectrum) and I get nice thick hits of low temp vapor... and this is a more energetic, upbeat high.

the high temp vapor from extreme is around 200-220. when I use the LB , I feel the same as the extreme on high temps.... its a very sleepy high... I am not energetic or anything, just chill and want to take a nap.

any tips on how to use the LB to achieve low temp vaporization?

This is easy. Draw in more air, inhale faster. You should feel the vapor coming onto your tongue get cooler.

that pic was taken on the first hour when I got it 3 weeks ago... I've been vaping herb finely ground ever since that day that people told me LOL

Also, shorten your battery connection time. It's very easy to get into high temp range with this model. If you want low temp vapor it's probably best to load small amounts and not expect to feel the vapor, just wait for the results.

That's what I do with small amounts and a very short battery connection time.

I don't get a sleepy Indica high from the MFLB when I do this. I also use a very small amount of herb. Without filling the trench even halfway.

I see vapor when I use the MFLB and I do not use the tube/stem that came with it to inhale.

Ya Max thats a great tip also.

On another note..Has anyone come up with a way to "harvest" the resin that builds up on the stem? I like using the stem and mine is quite resined up.

Can you vape kief in the mflb? I tried the search to no avail. I have read snippets that it's not recommended and those who say they do. I load a light thin layer in my easy valve and sprinkle a light layer of grinded og on top. Hoping to try the same on smaller portable scale. Just got mine today and first load I kinda cooked it. It gets hot which is good. Brushed it off and 2nd load was better with more shaking and less heating. Going to be great when stuck at the park all day watching softball. I did notice a small area on top near rear corner when the screen was not stuffed into the crevice. Like it was trimmed a bit shot leaving a small gap between wood and screen. I assume this an acceptable manufacturing thing?

Hi all..............im excited:D

Ordered my LB through Blisss 6 days ago and it arrived just now(Australia).

But since i have the day off (got a cold) and have hit the whip a couple o times and sinked quite a few bongs already it's going to be hard to judge how good it is. So i might try it out today then hit it hard tomorrow.

Oh and ive got a bit of reading to do regarding all the tips and techs.

i vape kief in mine all the time. Sometimes i put it ontop of some bud, sometimes just kief. works good either way.

Ok cool, I figure being handmade some minor cosmetic imperfections are ok since it does have a lifetime warranty and all and it's not in the trench. Did a 50/50 of og kief and og ground bud. 1. I need a better grinder. The cheap acrylic is just too dull. 2. My local dispensary herbs and keif are really moist and need to be dried a bit. Mflb works good for a portable and when trying to make your herbs last longer but I know I can fine tune with a better drier grind. The mflb won't replace my Volcano but it has found a place in my heart and my pocket right next to my iPhone 4.

plus, like you said, im confident in the device because of the warranty.

I think IMO the things that would make the LB perfect is convection and temp control while still retaining all of its current merits (size, stealth, warm up time)


any future plans?

Hello everyone!

So.. I've just read the entire MFLB thread, whew..

I have a few questions if you don't mind.

I don't have a high tolerance for 'herb' and when I get high, I laugh my ASS off.... this is, of course, only when I'm smoking with someone else. If I'm by myself, I sorta just sit there.

I'm very new to vaporizing... in fact, using a MFLB would be my first time.
Will the MFLB give me that super fun laughing high that I get when smoking?
Will it give me the munchies? (who doesn't like getting the munchies... lol)
