So the micron Lite can't be used with a Ti Kiss cart?

I want to buy a micron lite but want it to work with a kiss cart, yet I see that the website only sells it with the nichrome wired ceramic heaters.

Any info thc scientific or w9?

Hi guys, I'm about to buy a Minicron and some Ti Kiss cartridges but I wanted to double check which ones I needed.

The drop down on the W9 Site asks which vaporizer I need the cart for. I'm thinking that because I'm getting the Minicron (Evod style) I'd need the Evod cart, right? Might be a stupid question but I needed to ask. Thanks!

The thread you would need is the omicron and Persei version.

@530rasta I have to check tomorrow to answer your question, but the ti versions work best with the ophos and omicron lite batteries.

Thanks for the info, just placed the order. Though it sounds like maybe the Ti carts might not work best with the Minicron? Appreciate your help. Either way, I'll be happy once it's here!

Thinking bout getting this as a on the go way to easily consume my concentrates. I only use wax would this work out okay? Completely new to the concentrate pen world so any tips as to what I need to get started vaping would be most appreciated. Thanks everyone

New omicron lite evods are online.

They include non Ti kiss carts.

@Mrmrmrmr

All our oil cartridges work with wax.

Our Hercules SR74 works with anything and you dont have to use any foils to test your oil.

It is 100% user serviceable and 1 year warranty.

Check it out if you want the ultimate cartridge system.

I recently got an Ophos because I came across my first batch of wax. It works wonderfully and really shows the taste. I find it holds enough for two sessions, but it is billed as enough for one session. I think you will really enjoy it.

As you can tell from my sig (and my pic in the Gallery) I also recently acquired an O-PHOS—but not the wax. I'll be right over.

What the hell, here's a portrait:

Not that none of you have never seen one before, but this one is mine. I've tried it with some BHO and some ISO-goo from reclaim. It does an admirable job. The globe smooths things out nicely as well as providing a nice show. Now all I need is some of sticks' wax.

Could you explain what you mean when you say it holds enough for two sessions? Are you referring to how much wax it holds, if so how much is a session for you ?

yes...how much it holds. I'm new to this concentrate thing, so other than being in the same boat as you, I don't know how helpful I can be. What I can say is that when I load it up there is always enough in there for later when I am done. I load it no higher than the top of the ceramic and always try to make sure there is an air bubble or space in there so the vapor has a path to get out. This may or may not be necessary. I was just trying to point out that the Ophos is billed as a one session per load type of pen, while they have another one that you can load up and use it for a long time til it runs out. I thought the Ophos, with it's smaller payload, might not suffice for my needs, but I was able to go to a concert for a good four hours the other night with nothing but the Ophos and it was all I needed. I like it and it has a definite place in my arsenal for when I happen across concentrates. And it's cheap!

Paka...I have the last of my wax loaded up...hurry up and traverse the continent...I'm waiting!

As big as you want once you get the hang of it. I hit mine like a mflb. I pulse it on for about three seconds and off for about one and then repeat as necessary through one long, consistent draw. The instructions say don't hold it on for more than four seconds, thus my three second rule. When I went to that concert, I snuck outside for just long enough to take three long hits and I was good for a couple of hours. Obviously this depends on your concentrate, and mine is probably a middle quality (was made locally, not through a dispensary). But you can hit it short for a small, refresher cloud or you can hit it like I said and get big, thick clouds.

I'm convinced pens are the way to go for portable vaping if you can get the concentrate, and I wasn't convinced of that until I used the Ophos. It's a conduction design, and I think ultimately convection would be better, but no one is doing that in a pen. It really comes down to which pen you buy. I wasn't sold on those cheap cloudpens for sale in my lhs, and I found the 2013 Ophos for $35 online and felt it was worth the risk given I rarely have concentrates. I don't regret it at all, and if I couldn't have gotten the $35 model knowing what I know now, I would not have been disappointed in the $50 model. I think you should go for it. Given what we spend on portable flower vapes, this thing at this price is almost a no-brainer.

Pretty sure they recommend against filling up the ceramic cup with concentrate. The instructions indicate you are supposed to only load concentrates onto the coil and wick for best results.

Anyone wanna confirm? I hope I'm not doing it wrong! This might be why I get two sessions per fill up.

I'd like to know the answer as well since I'm looking at buying an ophos. I would like to extend the life of the vape as long as possible.

I'm very guilty of putting as much as possible in mine.... and, it still works!

I do not even try to scoop up the extra. I do the contortions thing where I hold it at a precise 63 degrees, while holding one foot up, and facing due West, to get all my oil to vaporize, but this has been working for me for several months.

But, it does work better if you load as you go.

I was wondering about the excess in the bottom. I guess you either reclaim it or do the 63 degree thing, huh? Or load less to begin with?
