Is the $225 Klein basically gonna be this?

No.. thats a straight up single Klein like the first one in the original post, just not worked. He had one last week and I wanted to get a picture of it and he sold it before I could get to it.

What was he asking for this piece?

Not sure.. Ill ask him today. If youre interested, PM me. He has another one with different colors on his old Facebook page. Ill see if I can post a picture here.

Here's another one with a different color scheme.

Jesus, Moses, Mary both of these recyclers that he has done are beautiful!

I just decided I'm selling my American Glass recycler I got a while back on BWG and having him make me one of these later on :D

Does a vertical upline tube that connects the bottom can to the vortex chamber work better than a upline tube that connects more horizontal like this pic below?

Which one vortexes better?
Or is the vortex strictly created from the shape of the vortex chamber and the size of the return tube?

It seems like return lines that are slightly pinched/have a smaller diameter cause a better vortex, but most pieces like this also have the horizontal upline tube.

It looks like this one didn't really vortex in the video on the first page but it also looked like the water level was maybe set a little low?

Thanks for your input guys!

Dang I just saw this piece. 6 uptake tubes and 3 return tubes.

This one might be my next request and the worked recycler may have to wait. How about I get this one made with uranium glass or whatever this awesome green glass is called lol? Or some nice slime accents :) That would possibly hold me over until I get enough money for a fully worked space/cosmos themed recycler :D

The tube from the top works pretty good and you have less chance of water uptake.

Are you talking about the recycler I asked about? I just noticed that the tube flows straight down into the vortex (return?) chamber. I typically see these attached to the side so the water comes out at and angle to enhance the vortex action as you said.

What's your take on this? Are there function vids?

I linked to one in this post

Revised teapot video. With a vape on this thing, I can pull as hard as I can and get no water.

Can't see it on my phone, requires Adobe Flash Player. Weaksauce. Still very interested tho.

Sorry bout that.. think I clicked the picture button instead of the video button.

Klein video incoming.... its processing now. His Kleins are awesome.

This is a pretty small Klein. It doesnt really look it but it is. The ones people here would get would be about twice the size of this one.

That for $225, around that size, but with a female 18mm joint and a disk base, would be an awesome piece. Even more with the uranium glass  daddy needs to win the lottery

The $225 model is bigger than that. That guy is really small. I dont know why it doesnt look that way in that video. I have another video of that piece and its definitely a mini rig.

The teapot is quickly becoming my favorite piece paired with my Evo. You can pull on it as hard as you want and you're water free, you just have to remember all bets are off when you carb it. It cools great and has just the right amount of diffusion. Even when its not recycing if you hold it at a weird angle, it's still awesome. Did I mention it hits like a truck?

I am going to ask him about using slits in the perc instead of holes. I personally like the "roughness" the holes provide with the perc action but it might be a little smoother with slits because the bubbles would be smaller Id imagine. With the holes, as you can see, there's a whole lot of chaos going on in the can.

**EDIT** Trey came over to pick up a piece he needs to make a change to (Ratchet) and had the Klein with him. Its not a mini but its not real big either. Maybe 7 inches tall. He's going to make a bigger one today for someone. Hopefully I can get a picture and video before it goes to its new home.

@PoopMachine any updates on price for that thing?

I asked him yesterday and he was supposed to check his Facebook to make sure he was quoting the right one. I talked to him this morning and completely forgot to ask him. Ill get you a price today.

@PoopMachine

Think you could get the price on one of those mini-kleins?

Sure.. Ill get it for you today. Do you want the pink one or just a clear one?

Clear. Also I'd want one in 14mm so I hope it's not a 10mm.

$150 on a clear one. $225.00 on a colored one because he has to coil pot the colored glass to make the tubes. A lot more work.

14mm male/female should not be an issue since he makes them to order.

@Caligula , $225.00 for that worked mini recycler.

He's starting a larger Klein for me tomorrow that should pair nicely with the Evo.
