Ive been talking for a couple of weeks about a glassblower I met that does pretty awesome work. I think he's finally at a point he can start taking orders for you guys so I wanted to post up some information.

Trey Willits is the owner of Doughboy Glass. He has been blowing glass for 15 years. He used to own part of SYN with Fat Mike. He's been doing a lot of stuff for local shops, custom pieces, repairs, etc but Im going to help him out with getting established on the Internet so he can expand his market. I met him when he repaired my Mobius that the base broke on and we hit it off. He's a straight shooter, has an incredible work ethic and I hear he's a pretty good drummer.

So, I thought Id post up some pictures of some stuff he's done. Ive been talking to him about some vapor specific pieces and he has two pieces he wants to do as a "standard" line but he can do about anything, included worked versions of these pieces.

One is a standard recycler with a tungsten punctured inline. He will be selling this piece for $175.00 plus freight.

He will also be offering a Klein recycler for $225.00 plus freight

Both of these units will have a wide base on them to support a vape and a 18mm female joint (Unless specified otherwise)

He also does a mini recycler that a couple of people here have ordered from him and I shipped the first one for Trey today. You guys should have a report on it by Thursday. Trey is getting $95.00 for these.

Id say right now turnaround on about anything is a week or so.

Standard disclaimer: I dont work for Trey, I have no stake in his business, and I dont make a dime off of helping him. Once he's up to speed on this ding dang Interweb thing, Im going to step out and let him handle all aspects, Im just helping him out as a friend until he's ready to take the wheel.

Without further delay, here's some pics.

If anyone would like to commission a piece from Trey, you can PM me. Ill talk to him, get you a price and he'll make it. No money up front as long as no one leaves him holding the bag.

Im really excited about working with Trey. He can make pretty much anything, his prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of work he provides and its been cool to give him input on vapor specific things for pieces and see him incorporate it.

Im supposed to pick up a recycler from him tonight for my own use!!!! Ill be posting a function video of it hopefully tonight.

I've already got a piece on order with Trey, can't wait to see how it turns out!!

Same here! Can't wait to see how mine turns out too!

Your sidecar recycler is going to be so unique! You may be starting a new trend! I'm definitely going to have to get one at some point :D

I'm going to take up a second job just so I can't get some more customs pieces done by Trey haha. His prices are unreal. Where else can you find fully worked stuff like this for these prices... Nowhere! Well maybe somewhere but nowhere I know of

I am also a big fan of that last recycler. Does it vortex?

Absolutely

CC can post a usage video when he gets it.

Teapot recycler.. this is actually my piece he made for me today. I wanted a large volume piece with good diffusion.

I mentioned a mini rig he was working on for dabbing that water goes through the dome. I found a picture of it on his facebook page so I guess its okay to post it.

Here's a video of his mini rig in action.

Last one for this post.. this piece is still available and this picture actually does it justice.

@PoopMachine dude that is pretty freaking sweet! Looks like it would provide a nice smooth hit since there is so much water and the perc is so low. How many holes? Where is the water test video? Function video?

12 holes in the perc. It stacks like mad. Mrs PoopMachine will help with a usage video in a bit.

I wanted something that had volume, would hold a vape without issue and had good diffusion. This piece seems to hit on all those points.

HOLY FUCKKKKKK :mmmm:

Your large volume recycler is bad ass. Thanks Mrs PoopMachine for helping out! Can't wait to see a function vid.

That mini rig looks nuts! I kinda want one haha. So unique!

That last pic finally does it justice! His worked skills are top notch! It's just mesmerizing.

@PoopMachine Quick question about the Incycler Tube in your first post. Is there some sort of safety over splash return tube that you can kinda see behind/right to the left of the male joint that prevents water from going up the mouthpiece??

Looks to me like that's the "uptake" tube.

The Inline percs the water up, it goes around that tube at the back, gets dumped in the top chamber and falls back into the bottom chamber via the Klein bit.

That makes sense thanks for explaining that! I was thinking there were a few holes in the part that blocks off the bottom chamber from the top chamber. I get how it works now :D

Those Kleins are wicked. I asked him to make one so I can post a functioning video.

Here's a video of the teapot. Mrs PoopMachine did get a little water in her mouth when she carbed it but she was pulling through two Evos so the pressure change when she pulled the stopper was pretty considerable.

I didnt have an issue but you can pull it hard enough to get water. Im going to talk to him today about the possibility of putting a slightly bigger return on the next ones. Also, this was about the 7th take so you can imagine that she was kind of having a hard time keeping things consistent by this point. :D

Here's a triple Klein tube he made as practice for Boogerman's piece. He just wanted to fit all the pieces together before making one with larger cups.

I would love to see a function video of that triple Klein

Ill see if I can get you one. It recycles just fine but because the cups arent cone shaped, it doesnt vortex down when you stop pulling. He was trying to work out the plumbing with an actual piece and said he has it figured out now.

I know from talking to him that he was starting to get kind of burned out on glasswork mainly because the state we live in is backwards ass and people dont appreciate high end, nice glass. I had to drive 3.5 hours to get my Mobius because there arent any shops closer that sell them. This stuff has really brought that fire back for him and I hope that he can establish himself and do well. He doesnt want to deal with middle men or shops because thats apparently the bane of a glassblower's existence. Once he's got all his Internet stuff up and going, people will be able to directly interact with him. He even wants to do live video of him making a piece and broadcast it.

Took my teapot piece back over tonight and he blew the return hole open a little more and blew out the chamber a little bit and its infinitely better. I think a slightly bigger chamber than what I have now would be beneficial and he'll most likely make the next one like that but its awesome the way it is now.
