I don't know about in america, but canada has specific federal legislation about "timely" response after payment, etc. By not replying after payment to an extent, you violate those conditions and allow to rescind the contract. By not communicating, you disallow the possibility for rescinding contract and technically open avenue to sue for damages aha, which would give lawyers a bunch of money and waste your time D:

I mispoke, not illegal, civil breach.

Either way, its just... annoying for people since the letter of the law is for the people making money on fees in th process rather then solving small disputes, esp international.

I'm not saying anyone will press civil action, its just sad its to the point where you could be like " well when this gets worse".

PS is it weird i'm hitting the CGD recycler while typing and its still my fave :D :D lol, i'd still throw 150$ to the wind and just wait for it to show up if i didn't have one.. but thats just on my life situation aha. But really make you hesitant when you hear the same communication on 600$ pieces, which is getting to the budget for the next glass on my hit list :D

PPS watch in less then a month when I post "just fucked up'edly ordered a giant custom piece :D weeeeooooooooo" haha, manic/depressives need no muh' fuckin' consistency :D

I would pay for my piece and wait 6 months no problem if thats what it took to get it. This is hands down my favorite piece I've seen, and used. I will be getting my next piece through Cory again most likely.
Am I wrong or do we still not have any glass blowers with equivalent quality or that badass whirlpool for the price?? Well worth the wait IMO, but it's just not for some. Definitely would like to see some better communication though, but I would change nothing about my piece if I could

Difficult as hell to get a good pic of that opal shard, but damn that thing glows bright green! Also can be purple or orange depending on the light hitting it, definitely a cool add on to look at while ripping it

Those millis look like they make good grip points as well. The more I look at other pieces the more ideas I get, but my only real interest on this piece is function. When I get bored with it that may change...

Have you seen the video of the recycler I just got from Distilled Glass? It took me 10 days from first contact to have it in my hands and it beat Cory price by 10% shipped bombproof

Very nice! Thanks got pointing it out, I'm following that thread also so not sure how I missed the video. How tall is it? I still prefer the CGD because the smaller 2nd can allows the whirlpool to take up the whole can. As well as they style and size, but I stand corrected. Good call @blankrider

Just FYI I feel the same way about the design, but After 24 hours of great communication Mike will be making me a recycler based on the picture I sent him of a particular piece Cory did.

The joint is 5.5 inches high,
Mouthpiece is about 9.25 inches high,
Base is 3.5 inches across plus foot under vortex chamber,
The glass is very thick. At least 5mm.

The artist is very easy to work with and I am sure could make whatever changes you desired

I actually really like the large size of the vortex chamber on the piece he made for me. It gives the recycler a greater volume and helps me achieve monstrous amounts of milk.

When I looked at photos of it I kind of wanted to make changes but after having it in my hands and using it a few times I don't want to change a thing.

That's one of my favorite parts of my recycler, small can = no where for vapor to stay. Constant moving vapor with water is kind of what a recycler is all about, Keeps fresh cool vapor on the way at all times and makes for the freshest most flavorful rips while still allowing huge hits. It's all about minimum diffusion with max taste and hit size IMO. Space for vapor to hang out kind of defeats the purpose for me anyway.

I would agree if this were a recycler for oil. I feel like most recyclers are and that is primarily what they were invented for, but this is a vapecycler. I intend to use this for vaping and vaping alone. It is nice to have a little more space in a vape piece.

And considering that the Cory recycler has such a long neck and is like 15" tall I bet that mine has no more space to get stale. It is just over 9 inches tall

I also use mine a lot for an oil rig so it fits my needs perfectly. Never said stale, but you can certainly taste the difference in larger pieces with more volume over smaller pieces. I've come to the conclusion I want as small a recycler piece as possible that still gives adequate cooling for huge hits. This seems to be the whole philosophy behind recyclers IMO no matter what they are intended for. This is what I follow on a recycler whether it be for oil or vapor. I'm not sure why it matters what material it's used for as long as it does just that, max hit size, max flavor, minimum diffusion.

I don't think you recycler will have an issue with this, just an observation. After thinking about the size I'm sure the CGD neck makes up for the can size, Both seem to be perfect size for our larger vapor needs. I just prefer less can space

@Caligula I'm not sure if you could call it stale, but you can easily tell the taste degrades the longer it stays in a bag. Let it sit for a couple minutes and inhale off it then tell me it won't go bad.... Shit taste is one of the main reasons I quit using bags

I have not used bags in years but I remember being able to leave them for 15 minutes or more and it was not a big deal.

Not like if you don't clear a combustion hit right away. Now that is STALE

And I want to point out that you just said "minimum diffusion" which is another thing that you want for oil but not true for vapor. Exactly why I asked for ten slit inline, if it was for oil I would probably go with 3 or 4 holes. I don't really believe in dual purpose pieces and am already planning on ordering a small 10mm recycler for oil.

Your recycler actually seems a bit large with more diffusion than you would want for oil. Very sick though and I am sure an excellent vape piece

Everyone tastes to a different degree, but if I let a bag sit for 5 minutes an took a pull it was very obvious it's been sitting. Sure as shit not as bad as that old bong staleness:puke:
But still a difference I can tell.

The other reason for a recycler IME is just the cool factor:cool: And it's hard to argue that Cory's recycler spinning the entire can like that, is not cool as hell

Edit- I have a few smaller oil pieces also, but it's nice to take huge rips out of the CGD. Definitely more diffusion then I would want for an oil specific piece, but it works great for cooled monster rips. Minimum "acceptable" diffusion is all relative, for a vape I think the CGD is right at that level. Great taste, but still cools enough. I just mean minimum diffusion for that specific application, as little as I can have while keeping the vapor cool. I guess I should say minimum diffusion while accomplishing these goals. I should have clarified, but I certainly do want as little diffusion as possible while keeping it enjoyable.

I guess I'm a believer! In dual purpose pieces anyway:bowdown::bowdown:

Well, for me I am trying to accomplish the opposite. More diffusion means less flavor. I don't do concentrates, but with flowers I want to chase the flavor and REDUCE diffusion. Maybe that's just me...

Definitely not just you. This is the specific reason I am getting into recyclers, and the reason the were created IMO. Accomplish the cooling of a big diffused bong, while keeping it all in a small, tasty, while using as little diffusion as required "package"

I just want to be clear on the difference in these 2 percs.

Mine is a ten slit inline and Cory does a 8 hole inline. If I am wrong someone please correct me.

Is the consensus that 8 is the perfect amount and that these 2 extra cross the line. That it is a flavor killer because of these extra 2 holes? Or is there a big difference in the way that holes function versus slits?

Where did anyone say that was crossing the line? You said I don't want minimum diffusion, and I disagreed. Never said anything negative about your recycler.

It's not a huge difference. But when we are saying we want less diffusion for more flavor, it doesn't make sense to add 2 more holes because "it's not a big difference". 6-8 seems perfect IME, I am sure 10 slots will still be great. But it makes sense when you add 25% more diffusion the taste will suffer a bit

There are way too many variables to make a cut a dry call like this. How big are the holes? How big are the slits? Do they all fire equally? Does the shape of the hole/slit effect it? Are both downstems equal in inner diameter and length? etc... etc... etc...

This is a retarded argument.

Lol agreed:rofl:
Notice how I am in no way trying to argue about this. There are insane amounts of variables, I was just responding on the previous comment about it

I say we all hit our recyclers and enjoy some whirlpool action

No you got me wrong. I get that you personally want minimum diffusion. I was stating my opinion when I said that you don't want minimum diffusion for vapor. And I didn't mean just you but more of a generality.

And no one said that a line was crossed but the ten slit inline did spark a lot of comments about killing flavor and too much diffusion while the eight hole inline is being praised as the champion of cooling and flavor. I am just a bit confused
