Ok So I need help deciding

Any advice is appreciated

I have one like the one you posted.
Go for it $40 is still cheap.
I don't like whips or tubing.
I use JHOOKS or SHERLOCKS and a KECK clip with my ASH COLLECTERS.

I'm just joking around.

The CHINA bashing I hear all the time for the last 20 years so I responded wrongly and I'm sorry if I offended you! It just the LOCAL SMOKE SHOPS in my area are going down hill concerning Quality. The glass is 3mm thick and 4x the price of the Web.
At least my pieces are 5 - 7mm.

I want the D020-2W and will order this one next.
I would use a 18mm female with you 18mm SOLO GonG or a 18mm x 14mm female and a 14mm GonG.
Think LEGOS?

To me that looks like it is 18mm, hard to tell without something for scale. The one you linked is 14mm, but it looks nice. They do have a 18mm one though.

If you want more options, check out the j-hook thread. Plenty of them to choose from.

I bought my MP from OregonGlassBlower on iOffer, great Customer Service. If you need a bend made that you cannot find, he might be able to help. Thanks to jambandphan, here is Mike's j-hook design.

Almost bought a Lotus Glass j-hook until someone mentioned how phallic it looked, lol.

I like the idea of a J-Hook with it like you linked. May as well keep the path glass if you can. I'm not sure how Da Buddha connects to the AC...

There are a bunch of J-Hooks around. I have the Grav Labs one that Lotus sells, but DGate has a cheap 5 pack and there are many on ebay.

@ataxian - No offense was taken. I was just trying to get my point across, like you were yourself. The purchase price isn't a question since I already bought it. Is 12.95 an absurd price for the J-Hook I linked to from the Toronto Hemp Company? It seems like a decent price to me even though I have heard some complain that HOSS glass is over-priced.

I already have the gong was just going to get i 18mm f to 14mm F adapter or an 18mmf to 18mm f depending on what i pick .

I break glass so much!
I could buy a more expensive piece however I would break it so whats the point?

For $22 I buy a 5 pack of JHOOKS for my ASH COLLECTORS. I look at it as disposables. In fact I plant to order a another pack. Tubing I can't handle?

I love this piece.
It works better than the other nail rigs with my TI Domesless Nail.
It works well with a SOLO as well.
For the LOTUS I need to use a glass extension piece for clearance.

Why is the LOTUS so wide?

Both the male and female ends are exactly the same size as the wand on my 2014 Da Buddha. Since it takes a 14.8mm screen, I assume it is a 14mm wand. Can someone confirm this?

Well well its been quite a while since the all tornado multiply order saga that went pear shape!

But I'm afraid that this one did not turned out quite well either...in two words I was promised a tornado bubbler (paid for) that never showed up or even been produced, so at the end I did engaged into a complaint with Paypal (when I think that a the beginning, the company (Dhruv Export (India)) did not even have a Paypal account) I was the one suggesting it to them, and what a great thing that was cause to cut a long story short I have finally been reimbursed by Paypal!

I picked up a second 135mm wigwag from CCGlass. In some ways I like it more than the first one, in some ways not as much.

You can see at the base where the wigwag got away and crept up the side a little.

Edit: I read somewhere that instead of worked glass, the colors in the cheaper pieces are made from glass-encased pigment . Does anyone know if that's true, and if so, how to tell the difference?

I wouldn't touch that iOffer one with a 10 foot pole...
It looks like it'll be overly chuggy, and I can almost guarantee you'd be inhaling a crap tonne of water...

I was using my d020-2--w for the first time last night - and its a lovely little rig
I kinda wish it was like 1.5 times bigger, but its a nice piece.

Build quality on both is impressive.
I can't notice any flaws, and the welds are all smooth.

I was worried about the shape of the Klein rig, the second picture on the listing looks pretty janky, but its nicely shaped and I quite like it.
I'm not the biggest fan of natural percs, but I can't see how to add any diffusion to the piece without inhaling water, so I can see why there's no perc in there.

I'm still trying to figure out the right water level for the double barrel...
I've had it with the bottom barrel pretty much filled, but it almost seems like it might need a bit more than that...
It doesn't seem to really recycle much as far as I can tell, but I definitely notice the water level on the return drain bouncing up during a hit, so I assume at least its regulating pressure a bit or something...

C'mon kathy, get the barrel to funnel recycler.
I can only find it from Btoc for like $70...
$70 is still pretty good value for a piece like that, but its a bit more of a significant purchase... At $30-40 its almost like spending play money :lol:

Don't like te mouthpiece as much on the w. looks hard to clean.

Which mouthpiece do you like more? I have both, it's a tough choice - which GonG do you need - female or male?

In my mind, I seem to prefer the D020-W for fresh flowers to preserve better flavor. And I like my D020--2-w because there is more diffusion when vaping reclaim soaked cotton. Overall, I feel my D020-W see's more action than the other one, but damn I hate the phallic mouthpiece!

That is the olny thing I dont like about it. Do you just hate the look or the function ?
I have a 18mm male gong. So I would be ok with the w.

It really comes down to personal preference on mouthpieces. I really don't like the closed style where you put your lips around it. I see it as a negative on any piece I own that has it, but I'll put up with it If the piece has other factors I desire. Having said that, there are some other members that feel the exact opposite to me... So personal preference.

I prefer the form factor of the dewaar joint on the d020-w vs the side stem of the d020--2-w


I'm really hoping yingmin comes through and makes a sidecar ion clone.
I really liked it with the standard bubbler mouthpiece, but since I've got a matrix ion, I'd never really use it so I sold it to a mate.
If there was a sidecar one I'd be on that like a fat kid on a cupcake :D

I feel the same about the mouthpiece and the joint.
I'm now leaning toward the d20-w. So I don't need an adapter and get a bit more flavor with less diffusion. And just hve to deal with the mouthpiece. It it that bad?

My d020--2-w has blue discs, but a clear lip, so I'm assuming that means its the clear version?

Bad? Not necessarily, I just don't like it.

For me, a bong is supposed to have an open mouthpiece that you put your lips inside, anything else feels weird and undesired...

Have you tried a closed mouthpiece?
You may actually like it :)

@flotntoke any chance you could post a pic of your d020-w widened mouthpiece?
Did it help with the drag of the piece, or is that being determined by the perc?
