I don't have any bubblers (whatever they are!) yet, but the website only lists 19mm and 14mm?

Am I being a bit dense here?

Sometimes called a water pipe, or oil rig. It's a device which permits water filtration for the vapor to both cool and add moisten the vapor. While the e-Nano does provide a nice smooth hit even at higher temperatures when used dry, a lot of us prefer water filtration.

Hell, I rarely use my vapes dry anymore, I always prefer water!

14mm is usually always called 14mm or 14.4mm. But 18mm is also known as 18.8 and 19mm. There are really two sizes 14mm and 18mm - don't worry if you bought a 19mm stem and you have an 18mm bubbler - it's the same size

The only other thing to remember is male verses female - the GonG stems you buy from EpicVape have a male fitting - you want something with a female fitting of the same size as your stem.

There is a huge "cheap high quality glass bubblers" thread in the glass section - I suggest you read the past 30 or 40 pages. You can find a lot of nice cheap "bubblers" for under $50 - the quality from the vendors we discuss is actually quite good - specific pieces like the infamous D020 and GB-187 are made with thicker glass and perform quite well

Buy these things

(there are some other stores with similar, but go for that reinforced joint just above the 90 degree bend. Matters more than you'd believe)

Can anyone who had a custom nano made with their own blank confirm that you still get the E-pik/wand/bag that comes with all the other variations? I guess you do, but it's the only page without those items listed under that option. I've messaged Andy, but thought one of you might be able to answer... I have an itchy trigger finger hovering over checkout :brow:

Yes, my Afzelia burl nano came with all the same stuff as a standard Nano

I don't necessarily need a bowl/bubbler, but want to buy them with the e-vape if I'm likely to get stuck with availability/compatibility issues or further international shipping charges later down the line.

Are there any necessities I should buy along with the e-nano? I'm in the UK.

Just get 2 or 3 adjustabowl stems. I use mine dry all the time as I don't yet own any glass water tools. It's a lovely vape. Nice and tasty. Sorry if I burst your head goin on about GonGs and the like. Set it about 5 and a half and play about from there. Hope you enjoy your nano. It's a great wee lump of timber!!! I use mine daily and and never switch it off. Remember you'll have to use a step down transformer cause 240 volts of uk electricity will cook its insides. I had one kicking about. I believe @Enchantre has a link to a good one. Ps customs charges can and may occur. I was 33 quid. Worth every penny and more wi the amount of herb you'll save.

how long do your dry sessions last? i manage to get 2 good first hits, then it dies down from there, just taste hits after but not really effective as the first 2?

Hey since we are talking water filtration, here's a question: Does using the E-Nano at an angle make a difference? I'm thinking of getting a piece that has an angled joint and just want to make sure it's not a problem. I could custom order it with a 90 degree joint instead but am thinking it's better to have flexibility for future vaporizer purchases.

Ah yes, I didn't think about having to hold it up potentially on the angled joint.... that would not be so fun. I do enjoy just putting it on my dewar joint piece now and just having it sit there while it heatsoaks for 10 sec before I toke on it.

I have a piece that's got a bit too much diffusion for the nano, but has been working all right. It's got a 45 degree joint, but it sits in my lap at an angle such that the nano is pointed straight up anyway; think of it as a 12" glass tube being held like a clarinet. Feels fairly stable.

My dry loads usually go at least 5-8 decent hits. The first few do taste the best, though. Keep in mind all of the variables at play here - not the least of which the quality/stickiness of your meds. IME taste falls off long before effectiveness, so you may be feeling it - just not realizing it because it doesn't taste quite as sweet. For most of us it takes a few minutes (5 or 10) for all that goodness to seep into our brains. If you can handle the temptation, take 2 or 3 good hits and leave it alone for 15 minutes. To see if the later hits are effective, turn the heat off and leave that same load alone until the next day (torturous as it would be!). When totally sober, heat the nano, stir the load and take 2 or 3 hits. Wait the same 15 minutes. It won't be as tasty or quite as effective as the first couple - but you'll probably see what I mean.

If you're in the mood to play a bit and want to really get all you can in effects, try this... Load a pretty good sized load (2 - 3x a 2 hit). Turn you heat down at least one notch from where you usually hit it dry. Take a couple hits and savor the flavor. Stir and take another. Kick the heat up a setting and let it warm while you stir again. Give it a minute to heat up and enjoy the hell out of it. You should be able to get a few more good hits. If you're up for even more and like to be left with dark ABV, stir and kick it up even another notch.

On bubblers, I used to use a 22.5 degree angled piece all the time and have used a 45 degree, too. Have never noticed a difference in heating, taste or affect.

If going dry make sure you pack the load down pretty good, or don't turn everything upright. Makes a mess and sucks to watch your stash hit the floor! 90 degrees seems to work best for me. Keep it parallel to the floor or the nano tilted a bit higher (vapor going downhill).

I have a piece that's got a bit too much diffusion for the nano, but has been working all right. It's got a 45 degree joint, but it sits in my lap at an angle such that the nano is pointed straight up anyway; think of it as a 12" glass tube being held like a clarinet. Feels fairly stable.

Something all should remember if bubbler/water pipe shopping. More diffusion generally = less flavor. Not a bad thing if you have swag or are revaping ABV, but I try to keep as much taste and add just a little moisture to allow for better hits and no irritation at all. So, while all of the cool glass diffusion monstrosities look fun, most will rob your taste. Saw the D020 mentioned above. This or the D020W (still a favorite here!) have very simple diffusion. Tube into water with some simple slits. Plenty to give some moisture and cool the hit. Keep the water as low as you can while having it bubble/fire as it should. And, hit it slow and steady until you clear. Not quite as flavorful as low-temp dry hits, but pretty damned close IMO and you can vape much larger clouds and enjoy longer sessions.

I've read many places on FC that recyclers can give plenty of diffusion and still retain flavor. Haven't bought one myself yet, so remain a bit skeptical about this. Hopefully someone else can confirm either way.

Wow, this thing is insanely popular. I'm still reading up on everything. Here is what I'm working with.

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/upgrading-from-extreme-q.15046/

Someone was already kind enough to break down how the nano fits in with my requirements. Could someone offer a comparison with the Plenty in terms of my needs?

It seems like there a lot of these small wooden "log" vaporizers. What makes the ENano unique? I have trouble believing something that's so small, and only $200, could produce better vapor than the DBV or Plenty. Could someone set me straight here?

It seems like everyone is way into putting vaporizers into water pipes (and, like, Hydrotubes). I have a nice set-up from my combustion days with an inverted 14mm joint on my ashcatcher. Do you just buy an adapter and put the E-Nano in upside down?

I just had a bowl of PINEAPPLE KUSH with my NANO!

I had to sell most of my inventory and gave away some as well.

The NANO you don't want to buy if flavor is not a concern.

I'm picky about flavor maybe it's my disease? However I can fill a large water pipe thick milkshake style with no effort at all.

Besides the flavor being superior the effect is very powerful!

PINEAPPLE KUSH pairs very well with the NANO if you like quality cannabis?

OK it's cheap and small.
Who cares?

kind of confusing using a double negative. Sounds like your saying something negative at first glance, i had to think about it for a second lol. and i still don't think i understand it

Hes saying if flavor isn't a priority, then the Nano would be excess for your needs.

...I think.
@Caligula are you the only one who understands me?

I'm harmless.

Let me make myself clear as water!

Don't not buy a NANO!
I just save you some scratch!
However If you desire flavor?
OK I just revealed a hot tip!

Only get a NANO if flavor is important.

Otherwise save your money!

A pack of PAPERS is cheaper.
However health wise the NANO is worth it! (IMHO)

If you need both: flavor/effect!
