I'm searching but there was an article about about TET as a company being sold iirc. If someone knows where it's at please link to it ... I will eventually find it but I just got off work and don't really feel like searching :p

What's up guys I bought a Luna a couple weeks ago and it shipped with the arcing problem. I've been emailing, calling, and even drove to TET. I have not got one response in two weeks, the shop they have has know one working there and I think maybe they folded. Anyone with some insight let me know. $400 paper weights suck.

Don't buy from this company I'm so pissed about this hack job product and lack of customer service. $400 device shipped broken with two weeks of not one response. Not to mention there's know one even working at there office building what so ever.

^^^ There it is ... start at "A START UP WITH BIOTECH FUNDING"

Edit: Thermovape Cera

^^^ that's the OP followed by OF's reassurance that I really hope is legit ... especially for those of us who pay our hard earned dollars for TET products.

@kernal6500 wax works great in the Luna. If it's having problems melting into the ceramic I break out the butane microtherm heat gun to help out. It's much more forgiving than a mini torch for melting thick concentrates into the ceramic.

should've been able to find that OP real easy ... it was on my 29th birthday lol

Edit #2 ... @ThermoVape ...

I would like to say I was misinformed about TET shutting down I will stay a loyal customer and will still recommend them to friends that ask about vaping...

Good to hear, thanks for the word.

Who told you it was in the first place?

That's the fellow that's spreading false and damaging rumors......he's the one we should try to educate I think?

If you can find the receipt, I think there's a good chance TV will cover the DART under warranty since it sounds like you got sold the LV version while the SV is what should have happened?

As to catching you on this one again, I don't think that's going to happen.......

Best wishes.

I just talked to Zeki Thursday, My Cera is out for a check up(possible hot switch) along with 1 SS EO rebuild, and 1 Ti EO rebuild. I have 100% faith that my baby will be back in my hands within the week. I've got something special waiting for her.....

Great Scott!
Does anyone know if any either of these retailers are authorized dealers for Thermovape? Thinking of picking up a Luna but it's currently listed as out of stock on the TET site.

One won't let me look without being a member. The other says " *DUE TO OUR WHOLESALE ACCOUNT, THE KITS WE SELL ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE KITS SOLD ON THERMOVAPES WEBSITE.*"

I'd steer clear friend. Bummer that TET is sold out but I'd wait and grab it there. I want one eventually but its SO expensive since I already have the cera EO + LL.

So is wax okay for the luna ? I know someone responded to my post stating that it wasn't and before that OF hinted that it was okay. Can someone set this question straight ? I primarily have wax so that's hat I would be using in the luna .

So long as they pass the foil test...wax/budder/shatter/oil should all be perfectly fine in the Luna. At least they've been fine in mine. One thing I can recommend from experience is to avoid loading dirty concentrates, as they will accelerate the fouling of your EO cart.

What's the foil test ?
Take a piece of aluminum foil, place a small amount of concentrate on top, slowly apply heat from the underside with a lighter (place the lighter/heat source a fair bit away from the foil to avoid burning your concentrate, repeating the test, and wasting wax), watch the results. A clean concentrate will liquify, flow freely, and vaporize, leaving minimal to no residue on the foil. Dirty concentrates can spark, and will leave behind a blackish residue. This residue will eventually clog up the ceramic in your EO core over time, hampering performance and flavor.

Anyone care to elaborate? Please do!

Sounds sounds spot on to me. I think careful attention needs to be paid to the 'melts quickly and flows freely' part. That estimates how it will flow and feed in the cart. Contaminated extracts often melt well but don't flow well (think of butter and salt in a pan). Even if it all evaporates off cleanly, concentrates that fail this part fail in use.

Neat test, answers lots of questions. It also works for Omicron carts, for the same reason (it predicts flow and feeding).

Well done Severmore!.

Yes it's ok just melt it down a bit so it can go through the ceremic. I found that c02 and alcohol based concentrates work best

So I was just wondering, what prevents the luna switch from activating in your pocket?

How does your concentrate do with the foil test?

it does well. no residule matter and what seems to be good flow

Cool. The free flow is the important part here. I has to melt quickly and completely and flow freely. Acting like butter will not work the same (if at all) even if it burns off clean. Something is preventing half a gram or so of concentrate from soaking into the reservoir it seems. If the ceramic is clean otherwise it comes down to heat and material. It seems like the heat is fine, you make vapor for a while.......

Have you tried other oil? Fairly thin CO2 oils seem to work very reliably.

You might also try to load some onto the plate and melt it there keeping the core below as cool as possible, that is 'creep up on it' with longer and longer pulses of power. Not hot enough to make vapor, but so the just melted oil has a hotter core to flow into.
