Divine Tribe atty's

Volute of Vapor
Really happy with the Divine tribe products, the ceramic double coil work very well and the donut atty is like a mini hercule, taste is really nice at low temp (red & pink), cloud production is decent when the unit is hot but not spectacular!

I like this unit cause you can get more hits (smallers) with a load than my Dabbler and you can load a bit more, when I load 0.1-0.15 I can get between 15-20 nice and tasty hits before the taste turn really bad.
I start at low temp (red), taste is a bit metallic here, after 2 or 3 hits I turn it up to pink level (3.7v), now it is warm and vapor production increases, I rarely use it at blue level 4.2v cause vapor is a bit harsher here.

I haven't got a lot of experiences with concentrates (I own my Hercules 3 days ago) but this device satisfy me in term of taste, vapor, easy to use but I don't like the design (a bit too big) and I don't know how the donut will be after lot of grams into (dry burn don't really work and I didn't try something else yet).

I'm thinking if you can put 2 or 3 (depending on their sizes) tube-type heaters vertically, you could potentially use it to make a convection vaporizer. I'm no expert though.

@divinetribe would it be possible to make a heating element in the shape of say a deep ti nail with a deep cup. Basically no stem just the head with leads on each side of the cup and small enough to fit in most rda's. Stuff a small piece of fc-2000 wick in the cup and i see a portable electric nail. Imagine dual cup rda's chuckin vapor!

Hey divine, I was just wondering if you have those new batteries you mentioned awhile back available for viewing/purchase.

I'm back from the DR and in need of an oil pen :D

yes they are called the ROBOX and they work well with the donut, It's a higher end mod. I will get picks up this weekend and post here too. thanks

Awesome! I was planning on getting the Mega 1300 mAh with pass through and other features, do you think these will be comparable or better?

the mega 1300 is not ideal, it will not fire the dual coils or the ceramic donut, please take note. pics coming with ads this weekend on my site with three more mods that will work with sub-ohm. I also have a new dry herb vape coming in at the end of august. I designed this myself and I am almost finished working out the last quirks. It works like a champ and evenly vapes the herb. It will be 1/3rd the cost of the leading portable dry herb vapes and give better hits with a guarantee.

The mega says it goes from 3.0v-6.0v with .1 precision, and I've heard the donut works best around 4.2v. Still working on understanding oil pens

you're right but the circuit in megas have been programmed to not work with coils that will make too much heat. it is very common in 90% of the batteries out there to have that to improve their longevity. I am now looking to phase out certain batteries. there is some innovation still needed in the market of batteries.

I don't use oils often but the herb vape on the other hand looks really really interesting. I bet it works with convection, right? Can u turn the ABV darker? What's the temp range? Does it get HOT???
I just know that you must having a great time designing and putting together herb pens with so many types of heaters available! :D I have heater configurations spinning in my brain already... :p

What is thinking this cat about your vape?

It looks like a T-Vape vaporizer, isn't it?

It has 3 setting for temperature right now and i only want one, it will make the herbs dark brown on the first setting so the other two are even hotter and it will just make it black.. the chinese are funny cause they have a really hard time with the concept of ganja and trichomes. they only have tobacco to play with and they for some reason insist on it getting to the point where they can see smoke from tobacco.
Not sure of the t- vape but my concept is simple. a Ti wire that can take 50k uses(kind of like a reliable light bulb) and wrap it around the outside of the ceramic to make a even heating chamber on the inside. A perfect little oven you can say, and when you draw in after the chamber is heated you get a really good vape experience with an even and consistent vape without any black or green left over.. I made these pics below in mspaint and started sending them out over a year ago to different suppliers. My main supplier finally got it done. I was quoted 3k to make a prototype from others and my supplier did it for free(took over a year though) he also helped fill in a lot of the blanks with the power needed and sourcing safe materials for inhaling. It is definitely a team effort and I can bet you a lot of my customers had a lot of input as well. Remember this is version 1 on all my stuff and things are no where near perfect, much innovation is needed. I have only been into manufacturing these pens for 1 1/2 years now. I am no expert because in my opinion there are none in this field yet, maybe in ten years someone can say they are. I have loved vaporizers my whole life though. Peace

Thanks for your input. I'd like to see a Hi-like iteration though... Or like Versa. A cylindrical ceramic heater with small holes at the bottom and possibly a helix air path like the Grasshopper. A portable log of some sort. Full convection! :)

I've had this doughnut for a bit now and absolutely love it.
I think the only real improvement besides aesthetic woul be if it were rebuildable.
So far I have tried it on the X6, the MVP 2.0, an eGo VV, and a Cloupor DNA 30.
The X6 works well at 4.2.
The MVP handles it if you reset/trick the device and gives better stronger vapor.

The DNA 30 absolutely friggin' kills it, BUT ya gotta be careful not to potentially damage the atty by going over or too close to 5V.

For DNA 30 users, I THINK figured out the appropriate wattage to accomodate for the increase in the doughnut's resistance as it heats up from .7 to 1.5.
215z said 5 volts is it's max before possible issues.

If my math is right, and i"m still learning all this, then set to 14.6-15 watts, the DNA 30 will only ramp up to a max of 4.5 volts. Initially it will be flashing the ohms till it goes over about 1 ohm then the DNA regulates once above 4V.
As long as ya pulse it it will read and adjust so right as it'a vapin' good around 1.1, it's regulating as well!! Splendid!

I'm going 15 watts and lovin' it. When loaded it only maxes to about 1.3 ohms so Technically you could go as high as 16.5 watts and be juuuust under 5V but I wouldn't go over 16. No need, really IMO.

BTW the ROBOX setup looks just about a perfect compliment to this atty as well, if my numbers are right, with it's 15 watt max as long as you put it in Watts mode, OR set it's volts to 4-4.5 volts depending on preference.

Best concentrate atty I've found yet!! Keep it up Matt!

Hey Divine,
I saw the new ROBOX mod which looks pretty sweet.

Just wondering if there's a possibility of a similar version which allows for passthrough charging or if the circuit protection prevents that as a possibility.

Also, what do the features "reverse charge" and "over charge" do?

@solomon7 I do not practice what I preach... I've been setting it at 30W and firing it up.... ridiculous size clouds... but when it blows up I have nobody to blame but myself.

@amerad reverse charging and overcharging protection, in the context of battery chargers, is just that. Some electronic wizardry to prevent current from flowing into the battery when you have the input polarity wrong, or when the batteries have already reached fully-charged level (4.2V or whatever). I'm guessing this mod you're looking at has a built in charger, or else I don't understand what they mean.

As far as I can tell, the ROBOX mod doesn't have pass through charging.

ROBOX Mod 510 Thread Battery plus USB ChargerLED screen, displays voltage/wattage, ohms, battery level, shutoff time, and puffs.
Comes with a 18650 - 2200mah battery, you can also use a shorter 18350 size battery (not included at this time) by removing the telescopic sleeve.
Reverse charge - over charge - short out protected function3clicks, changes voltage from 3v-6v, increase 0.3v by each short click, hold the button down for 2 seconds to adjust the power 5W~15W, increase 1w by each short click
4 clicks, changes smoking time (15s/30s/60s)
5 clicks on/off function
7 clicks, resistance reader
9 clicks, reset puffs

i will talk to my manufacture and get a more in depth meaning of the terms. and reply here as well as add more detail to the descriptions .... and find out why the pass thru is not a option on the ROBOX?

haha. fair enough 215z! I try to but I melt it in at 10, then bump to 20 while very short (lees than .5 seconds and 1 second off) pulsing. No higher though. The volts never go over 4.7 JIC. Love this doughnut! With an IR gun the temp jumps to 400 in less than a second at 20 watts and the "material" jumps and hops a bit.
15 watts seems perfect for flavor and vapor, but not necessarily clouds lol.
