Yeah, she's already boxed up for a trip to NC (SSFG) on Monday. If everything goes well I should have it back in 2-3 weeks. It's my favorite piece I was sick when it happened.

Remember folks 1 piece in the sink at a time!!

It's been a couple of weeks. I can begin to talk about it.

In a moment of insanity, I resorted to the shake-n-break method on Nina, my Bird recycler. It was my first fumed rig, my first recycler. Another birdcycler has come in, but nothing can take your place.

No photos post breakage. It was pretty much pulveriezd to dust, bouncing from a stainless steel sink, to a marble counter, and landing on a hard tile floor. Poor kid didn't stand a chance.

I finally put the remains of my Pinnacle tube and x2 14mm GonGs to rest in recycling. Trying out the DHgate tube but still trying to source a 14mm GonG :rip:

They say themselves: this price is so ridiculously high because we do not want to sell it....still that is a lot of tiny nitpicking work to make one of these...definately has taken ages to make

I never wanted to post here but this has not been my month. First I bought a couple sweet tornado cyclone bubblers, D20-Q, one for me one for my brother and while giving them a good first cleaning I dropped one on top of the other and broke the down stem on one. And then today while at work I went to get my PNWT out of my desk for a quick toot and it got caught up, knocked out of my hand and......SHATTER!:cry::cry:
I'm almost happy I don't know how to post pictures here. I wouldn't want to see them every time I check this thread.

Anyone else have an evil cat or two? My cat recently broke my first decent piece, a Grav Labs bubbler. He had never shown any interest in jumping on shelves until last night apparently. I'll post some pics for your viewing displeasure...

I had a cat knock over a $1800 flat screen once. Does that count?

Hey theirs glass in it, sure, just for another purpose all together. Lol

Back on topic, I just broke my SYN rig cleaning it out, luckily at the end getting the remainder of alcohol and water out of the inside. I'll have a post to show the damage when I'm home, but I'm really hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction of if and where I can get it fixed, I broke pretty much the mouthpiece stem off the body of it , without damaging any of the interior.

Any help would be great, my child was decapitated....

Ok so here goes... Im hoping for good news, and hopefully a ballpark for what to expect to pay and if possible what it would entail. I know next to nothing on how glass pieces are made in the first place lol.

No way not without tape and that would feel too bobo for lack of a better term. The edges are razor sharp and very jagged, which looking at the angle of the pic now is hard to judge thanks to the cameras poor depth perception. Unusable without some sort of alteration at this point as far as me feeling safe using it, and I want a solid permanent preferably glass alteration, I'm just wondering if my goals are realistic, and hopefully it won't cost more to fix then it did in the first place to buy it, it I may consider looking around for another one, but it took me almost a year to finally decide on one , and I'd rather not have to spend even half that on looking for a new one, considering I would be thinking about how it's all my fault to begin with anyways that I'm there in the first place.
