I was browsing the web today for vapes (just bored) when I stumbled on the Mark 1 by Vapium. Has anyone heard of this vape? I can't find any reviews on it or people even talking about it. The vape is selling at 150. The websites:

"We got together some world class roboticists and smartphone accessory engineers then added some of the best marketing magicians and sales ninjas around. Designed in Colorado, our story is simple, we’re aiming to be the market leader in portable aromatherapy vaporization products and accessories!"

Basically we got together people that dont know SHIT about vapes and a bunch of marketing people to make sales!!! YAY!

From their site, but in very small print:

"If you use a Vaporizer, you do so at your own risk. Inhalation is unadvisable and may potentially be harmful."

Isn't that kinda like a car ad saying, "Driving this car is unadvisable and may potentially be harmful."

Has anyone seen this kind of legalize before on any other vaporizer?

Doesn't look horrible if it works. Maybe not what I'm looking for, but maybe it works and shows great promise for improvement in future revisions, Who knows yet ? an action video would be cool.

Salutations TNT_error,

...I stumbled on the Mark 1 by Vapium.

Good finding!

Honnestly i can appreciate its external appearance, including the vibration feature, and since the question i always have on my mind has been asked anyway, well... Lets just enjoy a new addition, so i say it certainly got the appropriate outfit to match this price niche, doesn't it?!

Wow, tough crowd.

The disdain for conduction is overdone, in my opinion. I have several conduction vapourizers and some of them are my favourites. I use the FV in both conduction and convection modes and the difference is minimal at best. I think writing off a new design just because it uses conduction is a mistake.

I do like the temperature range. I see no reason to write off or embrace this device until it is in the hands of members who can report their experience. Right now we have nothing but a web page to judge by. You can't tell from a website, so please don't try.

I like conduction as well. My main concern is that it was built by roboticists and smartphone accessory engineers. Im just not sure why thats even necessary to advertise because neither of them have anything to do with vaping? Another concern is nearly all the feedback is from china or hong kong. Im always suspicious of new vapes until we get the material list and what the vapor path is.

I think it looks like it could be a decent unit, it's just hard to tell what is involved at this point as far as materials and build quality. The form factor seems well thought out, vapor quality is unknown.

Hummm...

Talking of the look, how about this apparent breed between an EleVape Smart and a Pinnacle? I would think, euh... There is at least the matter of user interface which is now open to debate since there are photographs of that particular aspect, lucky us!...

By the way, isn't that possibly a chock-absorbing silicone-like (grey) material holding the cover's string? Or maybe i'll just need to watch one of the videos... Not even 2 minutes overall! Quickly done.

Salutations,

The "quick use tutorial" video reads "Haptic Feedback Vibration Notification" from 0:06 to 0:09 so i can't but keep thinking this could have become a pioneer simply by implementing some self-stirring portable unit!

Well, maybe next time - but it won't happen today i imagine.

The Pax has really impacted the portable vape landscape beyond just its own supply chain. In this industry I've never seen so many redesigns of a vape in such a short amount of time. Kudos to Pax for getting it right enough to make a difference. At least this unit appears to be priced somewhat appropriately.

as long as they release the supply list and vapor path info I dont see a problem with this vape. TBH I kind of like its design.
