Glad to hear you got a lot of coals in the fire Aldo!

Can you share with us, what is the arduous???
Been following this thread and that was the first time I have seen it mentioned.

No lack of coal over here!

As for "arduous" I was just referring to the product design process. It just take a lot, A LOT, of effort to make something that works well. We've just completed and are now shipping two new designs...it was a very long and intense, not to mention costly process. So for now we need to get the current products out into the world.

Eventually we start thinking about adding to the product line (larger probably) but I'm not making any commitments at this point ;-)

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/arduous

Pretty sure he was just saying the design process is a bitch!

Aldo no worries on the gallon size Jyarz  I'll be plenty happy when I have an army of Satchmos running around

That's exactly what I was saying!!!!

I appreciate your making due.

Thanks for sharing your methods. I'm wondering what you'd think of a platinum silicone insert for the Chico and/or Satchmo. Ideally that approach would offer all the benefits of JyARz along with the advantages of non-stick platinum silicone. It might be fairly easy to make as well.

I like this idea. I've honestly never had any silicone container impart odor or flavor into my oils so I can't see a downside to this. In fact I was considering using a spray on silicone coating on the inside of my Chico insert just to screw around but gave up since I couldn't find anything food grade.

I'm glad we were thinking along the same lines. In fact I really like this idea for the Chicos since the Satchmo I'm using isn't really pocket friendly.

I have a bunch of other priorities right now but when things clear for me a bit I'm going to inquire about making some inserts. Thanks for your feedback as always.

I checked and we completed a customs declaration for your order, which indicates contents shipped and value of goods shipped. But I'm just not sure what the import tax is to Spain (thresholds, etc. are different in every country) so we're not sure if you will have to pay fees.

Stackable versions would require entirely new injection molds. Why is stackability so desirable? I'm not sure I get it. And unless I make them much wider at the base they'd be very unwieldy, they'd be very easy to tip over.

Just throwing an idea out there, nothing more. It is a great product as is.

My thought (and I want to stress that this is unique to my particular situation): I procured 2 Satchmos from you and have them neatly stacked on top of one another on my desk. If they "clicked in" I could easily stack 3 without the problem of them tipping over.

But me being me, I think I found another solution that I am going to play with this weekend.

Lastly, I wanted to let you know that I love the colors I purchased. Orange and Indigo, very vibrant and is it awesome that I can easily color-code different strains after I've ground them. Any new colors for the Satchmos down the line? I'm thinking of picking up a Green one next and it would be cool to get yet another color. Black is awesome for stealth (for the Classics), but is kind of boring for the ones that are going to sit on my desk.

Great product.. and I think I've already converted a few friends. Looking forward to what you come up with a few months/years down the line.

Nihil,

I'll be curious to find out the results of your experiment!

We don't have any other colors planned right now but when we start running low on inventory we'll see how things are selling and we'll consider other colors. Do you have anything in mind?

Thanks very much for turning your friends onto the Satchmo and I love to hear that you're enjoying it! If you have time for a quick review on JyARz.com (link below) we'd love it but I don't want to push my luck...you're already doing a lot by telling your friends:

The Red and Light Blue come to mind.

I promised you a review in a week after receipt in our email exchange, so no worries on pushing your luck. Spoiler: it will be a positive review, I'm really liking these guys. I can even get the glass insert to fit into my CVault for longer term storage/strain separation.

Red isn't all that popular but light blue/teal is very popular, so that might be a good addition.

Appreciate the review. And we have a little something we're sending out to all Satchmo customers next week. We've found a way to improve the product since first release and without saying more...please look out for something from us ;-)

Indeed it does. EVERYBODY that's purchased a Satchmo from JYARz.com to date (this material will be included in all Satchmos going forward as well)...everybody. Actually we found this new material because of my continued search for optimal gaskets. In my search I found a gasket/shock prevention expert who works mainly with electronics (think smartphones) and he's turned out to be a treasured resource of knowledge.

Sweet @JyARz. Not sure how you can improve the Satchmo but I'm very interested to see what wasn't broken enough that you needed to fix it!

Nothing is broken, don't get me wrong. But we've found a way to make a simple improvement that just makes the Satchmo that much better. You'll see what I mean when you receive the "upgrade." ;-)

Team NO SLEEP!
I am about to order a few more Jyarz; got my first around the 420 sales and look forward to getting more around the house.

The only thing from preventing me from hitting the buy button is I cannot decide which colors:D

Orange Satchmo fo sho!
and not set on the other colors yet.

For those with the Chico- I am curious if any of you ever consider using this for flowers?
All my concentrates are wet and require non-stick cases, but I kinda like the thought of having a Chico size for my day trips.... Should I get a Chico, or just more Classics and Satchmos?

RUDE BOY

Space is the Place
I only use my Chico for bud, great for just around the house and yard. But for me the classic fits better in my front pants pocket if i'm truckin' off somewhere that i want a decent quantity of herbs along. The squat but slightly larger diameter chico isn't as comfortable to carry IME.

Yes, I use my Chico for ground bud, for my daily travel needs. I can make it fit in my little "dime bag" way better than the classic Jyar, plus it is easier for me to load my Hammer stem from the shorter Chico.

I adore it.

Like rudeboy and enchantre I use my Chico for ground bud with great results. I don't really pregrind large amounts anymore so having a nice tiny container like the Chico to place my ground buds for the night into is great.

It's also a lot easier to load a lot of my vapes with the Chico over the Classic. Love em both!

Solod out.
I just cracked one of my two cannafresh jars. It barely even shows, but it looks like it might finally be an excuse to place my order with jyarz. :brow:
seriously though, aside from the great product, I'm happy to support this company based on what I've seen on FC. Chico would be the smallest size, right?
