For the LOTUS the ash collector is not needed.
However for the NANO it's fine.
I have not tried that but now I absolutely want to!
I used my Lotus for the first time out of a bong yesterday and it was a great experience.

To answer my own question and anyone else who is wondering, my 3 pieces from Sunshinestore were shipped out July 15, and they are now "Item processed at local delivery facility" today (July 23), so should be delivered either today or tomorrow. So 7-8 business days for delivery via China Post to BC, Canada, FYI.
I will post up a review once I receive them!

I hated the LOTUS at first.
However once I got the hang of it's kind of effective. Were supose to medicate I know so please take what I say as a grain of salt:
The LOTUS is the closest to smoking a joint without combustion!
In my case I save it for evenings.

Thinking strongly about getting this Kathy piece, which I believe is new. 14mm and only a bit of diffusion, seems like the E-Nano flavor savor rig that I am looking for.

I have this piece. I bought it a couple of weeks ago. Its nicely made but you do have to be careful with water levels.
Actually mine is 18mm but its identical to this piece otherwise.
A local shop has one of these rebranded as UPC glass, marked at 200 something. After seeing it here I gave it a water test and it had a really nice smooth pull.

Nice. Any idea if it has blowback? I can't tell with how the joint is if it would or not.
edit: Dang, I think this isn't a 14mm piece after all since @PoopMachine has the same one from Kathy, and she doesn't have two versions of these in her store.

First of all, what a nice forum! Been reading a lot of posts and i am thinking about what would be the best choice for my arizer solo..i am thinking about 2 options and cannot decide which one is the best option:
1st - Pinnacle water tool copy..
Pro: its nice because its small and you can carry it arround..but im not sure if it works well.

@Murk A D020 is much more versatile. You can use it with a variety of vapes, it stands upright safely on it's own, and you can add an ash catcher to it.
The PNWT knockoff on the other hand requires an upward facing tapered male joint (not all vapes can be used in this upright position). I have both of those pieces, my D020 has seen a LOT more use than the PNWT KO.
I still like the IDEA of using my PNWT as a mouthpiece bubbler for added diffusion (connected to an Ash catcher via a claisen) to eliminate the nasty taste of reclaim soaked cotton. But I rarely use it in general.
If you don't have the funds for both, get the D020, you won't regret it

The 14mm by 14mm bit means it has a 14mm female joint for bowl/gong and fits also into a 14mm joint in the bong...
I assume the 4.0" bit means it's four inches long.

Ill post a picture once everyone is up and around... I found that piece to be chuggy and I havent used it since we got it other than to water test it. Maybe Ill break it out tonight.
