I read all that but it still doesent answer any of my questions?

Does it produce vapor on that first draw to turn it on?
Does it automatically increase temp to your 3 settings over the session?
How fast exactly is fast? Is it just one draw and its up to 350 degrees?

Yes, it does.
No, there is a tiny switch on the side you select. You get to preset those temps through the app. Think radio presets here.
I got flavor that was intense on my first draw. I drew pretty hard, just to see if it would kak out on me. it delivers.

Sorry, @llamaman001 I was busy ordering mine, and missed your questions. Remember, I only got to use @sasNW's ESV for a couple of draws, last Saturday.

lol, we are going to agree to disagree here because the post to "answer" my question with the website info did not answer any of my questions specifically (it states nothing about the switch, it doesent state that vapor is formed on the first draw, and it also doesent state how fast it actually heats up) but Im glad you did, thanks enchantre.

Whats the shutdown time as well? Does it heat up and cool down in between each draw? Or does it have a time-out feature like the SOLO?

I can get a little cloud in 2 seconds, it heats up in under half a second. Also there is no session in this vape, there is not even an on/off button:)
If there is charge in the battery you can blow a cloud. Always ready, you can cash out a bowl in under 5 minutes if you want. Or have a bowl last a day, just depends when you want your clouds.

Thank you brother! It looks like this might just be my next purchase. Kind of like a T1 but with a rechargable battery and it lasts longer than 1 bowl AND has temp control....VERY tempting! Looks like Ill be throwing up more classified ads!

It has an 8 second shut-off. But you only need to stop inhaling for a fraction of a second to reset it and take a loner hit. It takes about 1.5 seconds to completely cool down after you stop inhaling or it times out. so it's a good idea to clear it for a second or two after the auto-shutoff

This vaporizer is an awesome machine, and if you tweek the temps you get great results and
lots of vapor, but there is one important thing, for even coloring of your herbs, you must stir,
I stir every two pulls, if you don't do this, you get very uneven colored material.
Packing your herb can give even bigger clouds but also needs to be stirred after every inhale.
With my personal experiences I think that less is more with this vaporizer, this was also
advised by Joe from Ipuffusa, he said, start with low settings and don't use too much
(after I told him my problem with getting uneven abv and getting close to combusting)
And his advice helped alot, I really love the elevape !

@Belgianvapor vapor can you compare the elevape sv with the pax and cera...
i am interrested in taste, efficency, cloud production, stealth, ease of use, airpath and so on... would be great....

From everything stated and Ive read in just these few short minutes this seems like THE portable to me. I like everything Ive heard so far and with the lifetime warranty I just dont see it being beat? Im used to stirring every hit with the T1 already so that wont be a problem at all.

This reminds me of a high powered MFLB but with precise temp control and better hits! Instant satisfaction.

it's even faster than mflb I think, no matter when, it will deliver clouds in 8 seconds and with the
different temp settings YOU decide how big those clouds need to be.

The pax is a powerbeast. it's fast, gives big clouds on all settings and does the job well, very stealthy, it cooks your herbs constantly, even a long time after you close it, tastes like crap very fast into the session, takes about a minute to get to the desired temp and can knock you on your ass with the effects. This is also why it eats your herb like a tasmanian devil. Oh yeah, it smells like a skunk on a dead body with broccoli on top. Cleaning is a J O B

The cera has great taste, but is just an asshole to operate, heavy like hell, not stealthy at all, needs time to prime, it's not a start and go vaporizer. it has a fantastic airpath, very cool vapor and not many particles in your mouth. it's very efficient IF you know how to use it. Clouds can be a pita to produce, again, not so IF you know what you are doing.
battery life is shit but you can swap batteries all day long if you have enough.
The cera is the cigar among vaporizers, you need to use it in your bathrobe, with a glass of wine and some Mozart on the 8 track, it's the hipster vaporizer.
Cera can be cleaned like new easily, and altough it broke plates, it needs to be handled gently.

The elevape is foolproof, by everybody everytime and everywhere it can and will be used the way it should be used. It's fast like hell, nothing compares to it, mflb comes pretty close.
Taste can be awesome, if you start low, it feels like this vape will even satisfy high temp users at a
much lower temp. You need to stir, I will repeat this, you need to stir. If you don't, you get half done and half barely vaped abv. the vapor from this thing is spooky cool, sometimes you feel like
it doens't work, untill you blow a big cloud, even my lungs sometimes say "fuck, we forgot to cough!"
it looks like "whut?" but it feels like "oh baby" and it's fun to clean, (from a boyish man's view)
did I say it's effing fast? The effects are a bit like cera, wich can creep up on you slower, I don't know why but either way, it can get me very very medicated.
It's a bit more maintenance while vaping but I would not put this in the "let's do a session" corner, more
a vaporizer that keeps you company all day, and you WILL take it with you everywhere, it's super stealthy, nobody knows what it is and it's fast, don't know if I said this already or not.
Ladies, with this, you don't have a one minute man but an 8 second man in your pocket ;)
Loads are small, like the cera, so they don't last very long, I use mflb loads, so 0.1 tops.
If you are used to more, you will need re loads, but the battery is up to it, I did 80+ inhales
total in 6 sessions with one charge.
Best of all, it charges everywhere you want, car, pc, home, pocket, you name it.

I think the elevape is a vaporizer you need in your collection, and not just as your only vaporizer.
Alot of people are going to love this thing once they have it.

*edit* did I say, somewhere in this lengthy post, that the elevape is fast?*

oh mama! So its either this or the INH05....so many great vapes coming out all at once!

So far this is in the lead however because of its INSTANT hit time. I LOVE to stealthily vape, I just get off on the "if only they knew!" idea and it seems this would be the KING of stealth vaping. With my T1 I can vape at just about any bar but mainly do it in the bathroom with a smokebuddy jr so no vapor it put out but I feel like I could just walk outside with the cig smokers and take a few secrete puffs.

Here's a video with the Elevape with silicone over the mouthpiece placed in a 14>18 reducer. This was on setting 18 with the bowl packed with about .15. This was the 3rd hit in with comparable clouds for the first 2. As you can see in the vid, I "prime" the load with a short 3 second puff in the beginning and then take an extended draw.

Nice even extraction at level 5. That's my delicious morning bowl, doesn't get much more even then that:2c:

Edit-
And the afternoon bowl at level 10. Perfect bump in temp for me and my afternoon needs

Both of these bowls I was pulling as hard as the vape allows and blowing big clouds

From the description stickstones it sounds almost like an EVO in the fact that it keeps up with whatever draw speed your taking. Many people having reported PACKING it down and just ripping as hard as they could and getting NICE vapor.

I agree...in theory. The only vapes I have owned that were truly draw speed indifferent are the EVO, Herbie and the Sublimator. This one does it in a similar fashion to Herbie with it's instant temp monitoring and adjusting. The EVO and Sub used heat retention, so they were easy and fullproof in that aspect. I think it's all about the coil and the software with this thing.

@Kaptan

Thanks for the great vid! I can't tell, but it looks like you are taking a nice, slow draw. Is that right? If so, how well does it work when you really honk on it? I don't want something else that requires me to take it slow like the mflb.
I was taking a moderate draw, slightly slower than I would with the cloud. The draw speed is actually dependent on your set temperature. Turn up the temp and you can get huge clouds while honking on it. For low temp settings, you want to slow your draw so you don't bring in too much cool air. I've had a MFLB before and with any temp setting on the Elevape, I would not recommend drawing as slow as needed for the launch box as you will most likely get a slight burnt taste with a huge cloud of vapor.

Thanks! I would expect that you could use the same draw speed at any temp and get good results, yes? Why do you have to slow it down for lower temps? I want to be able to hand it to someone and not have them sweat how fast they hit it.

@stickstones I use the same draw speed regardless of temp setting. I pull slightly against the resistance so pretty much always as fast as the device allows, and I'm getting extremely even abv as you can see in my above pics. I really never slow down my draw

Edit- I should add that the only problem I've had giving it to someone new is them pulling too slow. I handed it to a buddy on level 19 without thinking about it and he combusted from a super slow inhale. Now I tell people to pull hard and have no problems. Or just turn it down a bit so you don't have to worry about them at all:2c:

Ugh after watching this thread since a few weeks before the Elevape was released, i may not be able to fight off the temptation any longer...

Had been hoping to wait out the Grasshopper as the ultimate T1 replacement, but the way this thread has been going its really starting to justify the cash. Especially at $260... Big thanks to @mephisto @sasNW @chillersnov8p and everyone else on here taking the leap on this little guy and providing such great detailed info/pics/now videos too (thanks @Kaptan)! Methinks this thread is about to blow up in a major way...
