All,

I just received an email from the team at MassDrop. They want to talk...looks like we're making progress. I'll do my best to hold up my end of the bargain ;) I'll keep this community posted.

Good to know, thanks. I just added one of those to my shopping cart.. but they seem less likely for me to use for portability. But I'm thinking that they would be good to separate already ground strains for home use.

Definitely far less portable. The glass itself is 2x2 inches (Diameter/Height) but I do think they will serve you well for home/less mobile use.

Still using my JyARz, still in love with it. I love how well it keeps the moisture of the nugs locked, putting the choice ones in there and vaping the rest of it normally. Near the end of the bag it's a little drier (which is a plus for vaping) and as soon as I crack my JyARz open I can tell the difference.

I wrote a review for you, Aldo :)

So I had an exchange with Caligula vie email earlier today. He made the point that the Chico design is really optimal for "dry concentrates" and I think he's absolutely right. I haven't made this distinction in my descriptions of this product but he's correct and I want to make sure everyone on this thread is aware. I will also make note of this on the product page.

Thank you Caligula!

Yeah, about that...

What you see there is some fancy-shit parchment paper with some 3M adhesive labels denoting strain/type, sitting in my large "Stachmo" Jyar. This way I can keep my semi-solid concentrates (e.g. "shatter") safely tucked away in my Jyarz without worring about the meds getting spot-welded to the glass insert!

Ive got 3 grams stored in there right now, and as you can see there is a LOT of room for more. Hell, this way I also get to store many different flavors in one container. Perfect.

@JyARz I left reviews for you on the site. Glad I could contribute! Also got the Satchmo Jyar you sent as per out conversation. Thanks again Aldo!

BTW how does one know that they NEED to replace the silicone inserts?

Thanks a million for your reviews! I can't stress enough what a huge value this is to us. As I've written before, I invest heavily in product development and not so much (nothing at all this year) in advertising. As a result, word-of-mouth is our life blood and reviews are a big part of conveying the quality we here at JyARz try to deliver day-in and day-out.

THANK YOU!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I say it often but word-of-mouth on public reviews are our life blood.

This list and all the support are leading to some very promising discussions. I don't want to say too much right now but we are talking to a very prominent vaporizer manufacturer about incorporating a JyAR in its design/products.

In addition we're in discussions with a prominent producer from the Emerald Triangle which plans to use sell it's dry concentrates exclusively in JyARz (chico). This is very significant because this firm is increasingly viewed as being at the leading edge of selling and marketing cannabis based products in Northern California. If/when it chooses to use JyARz exclusively will be a major acknowledgement for us.

I regularly point interested parties to this list for validation of our product. Again, I think you, one and all for your continued support.

That's awesome news Aldo! Congrats! BTW I'll be sure to hit you up for a sample if that EA starts putting their dry concentrates in your containers. ;)

Oh and one other thing... how do you determine if the silicone seals in your Jyarz need replacing?

Thank you!

I'm not saying that I'll be shipping the stuff!!!! ;-)

As for the seals. They'll last for years but if you see wear or any abrasion I recommend you jus flip it upside down..and voila like new. Then once that side wears out we can talk in 4-5 years!

Received my Stachmos today and am initially impressed.. very solid.

One question/suggestion? How hard would it be to manufacture these as stackable? It looks like you already have a male ring on the bottom and a female ring on the top (cap). If the rings were a bit wider and/or heavier and their diameters matched, that would be a cool feature.

Stackable versions would require entirely new injection molds. Why is stackability so desirable? I'm not sure I get it. And unless I make them much wider at the base they'd be very unwieldy, they'd be very easy to tip over.

Here is the picture I promised. :)

How do you like it? Are you pleased with it?

I love it! It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be, and very sturdy too. I can tell they are very well made. :)

Superb! I live to hear that our customers are happy...every single last one! And you are by no means the last...if I have anything to do with it ;-)

Haven't been following this thread, but these Chico Jyarz look interesting. So you have stopped using silicone "Slik" type containers, and gone entirely to these for concentrates?

So far, yes. I think I prefer this method for storage of "shatter" type concentrates. With the silicone containers, Id typically end up with a big chunk/ball of eerl if I threw it into say, one of my OilSlick balls. With my current method, the parchment allows me to keep the material spread out in a waifer/slab form, and is thus much easier to handle/use. Also, this allows me to store different types of oil in the same container without worry that they will all mix together.

Then you have the whole air/light/bomb proof thing with the Jyarz. IDK how many times Ive smelled dank oil through my silicone containers or have had one pop open on me. Neither of those things are good times.

We're going to have to make even bigger JyARz for you from the looks of it! I need to take a break though and really get the Satchmos and Chicos out the door. Eventually I'll be ready to start the arduous design process again.

Hello people!!! I just ordered 3 jyarz pieces , 1 each model !! I will notice when it arrives, i think is good staff!! Thanks and see ya!!

Thanks for your order! We'll get them out to you asap!

Thanks for sharing your methods. I'm wondering what you'd think of a platinum silicone insert for the Chico and/or Satchmo. Ideally that approach would offer all the benefits of JyARz along with the advantages of non-stick platinum silicone. It might be fairly easy to make as well.
