Anybody do it before you vape? I Decarboxylate before I make edibles, but have never done it before vaping.

Better vaping experience?

Your ABV will be decarboxylated. I see no real benefit to decarb before vaping unless you are trying to subdue the flavor or perhaps, with a higher temp decarb, lessen the heady effects and just looking for the body effects. When you want those type of effects vape your ABV at higher temps instead of fresher "green" material. Just my:2c:.

The very act of vaporizing 'decarboxylates' your herb. ABV (already been vaped) is decarbed herb. There are still plenty of active constituents left in ABV, but not nearly as much of the heady ones. Good for body pains and relaxation - good for sleep too!

i own a maximizer bought from a head shop when i worked there they had it in storage from the early 70's,80's .

it steams your herb it did seem to to increase the effects some but at the cost of taste and smell.
only use now if making honey oil.

You may want to research it more. It does not need to be done for vaporizing. Vaporizing brings the herbs thru the decarboxylate stage (lower temp range) , then into the vapor stage (medium temps), but avoids the combustion stage (higher temps).
Where it is necessary is eating "raw herbs", material that has not been decarbed or vaporized, as it won't allow your body to get the "good stuff" otherwise.

Nope, it doesn't make for a better vaping experience, at least in my experience when using plant matter. I use non-decarbed oils with a vaporizer and I can tell you they work like charm as the decarb occurs during the vaporization process. ;)

"Decarboxylation also rapidly takes place as marijuana is being burned, or as it is evenly heated to a temperature of 222 F or higher."
You can spread out the herb on a cookie sheet and heat to 230 degrees F for an hour. Heating for 30 minutes gives slightly less conversion from THCA to THC. Monitor temp closely.
Some of the lesser important good elements in the herb start to vaporize at 247 F so don't go too hot.

I do not have a oven ...just a microwave . So not sure what could be the equivalent of 230 degrees F on a microwave..would not be nice to burn out all the material at once !

That machine only works with wet bud. Their description of "without addition of solvent or water" is misleading in the sense that it relies on the water within the plant material. Steam distillation on steroids using new tech! That machine will not decarb the cannabinoids because temperatures will not exceed water BP.

This isn't correct. I've used a microwave to heat my buds before. I used half power on an 1100 watt oven for two and a half minutes. I couldn't tell you how effective that is, but I do know that it doesn't harm them in the slightest and it does decarboxylate to come degree. That was a while back, before I got into vapourization, and the reading I've done since indicates that I probably didn't heat it long enough to be completely effective. Decarboxylation takes a while. Today I'd do two 90 second heatings at full power.

no...nothing...I am in an isolated place and not willing to buy a oven since I ll leave this place after few months...I ll wait till my next location.

In my experience making edibles, decarbooxylating changes the flavor quite a bit. Lots of terpenes are lost in the process, cause I can smell them in the air. It probably also changes the effects, though I've not tried vaping purposely decarbed bud. The closest thing I can think of is vaping hash that lasted me a year or so, but even that I thought was a better high when fresh.

What specifically makes you consider vaping decarbed bud? Is it so that it vaporizes better, or to reduce the smell? Or is it to achieve different effects than you'd achieve vaping regular bud? I'd be interested in seeing tests done comparing the chemical profiles of different buds before and after decarboxylation.
