Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Need some help guys... I'm trying to figure out how to use my Evo with this 18mm pipe (pics attached). Lady at the headshop gave me these adapters... No luck. What else do I need?

You need an 18mm diffused downstem with an 18mm female joint. Bring your piece back to the LHS to make sure you get the right length.

That adapter and that bowl are not needed for your setup.

your pictures are not showing for me?

but my guess is stu is right...best is take the piece with you, and the Evo, and check in the store what exactly you need.

the pics arent showing up because you are using a dropbox link to an html page not jpgs.
you have everything you need to use the evo inverted. you do not need the adapters or bowl.
the 18mm hose would only be needed if you want to use the vxn (because it requires non-inverted evo).

theCerberus,
I can see the picture if I right-click it, and choose "View Image"

The downstem would work as a straight, dry tube. No water, unless attached to, say, a hydrafoot 2. I have the dry tube from Vapexhale. same idea.

Ok so if I wanted water in that waterpipe, how do I go about it? Sorry for the n00b questions guys... Couldn't get it figured, was even about to try to take back the waterpipe.

simple:
put water in the pipe, add downstem, use evo inverted.

What does your water pipe look like? Oh, ok. Yeah, what theCerb said.
@bajangreen
The stem goes into the hole in the side of the bong. I think it will only go in one way. So your female 18 mm gonG connector can mate with the male 18 mm adapter in the inverted EVO. Add water and serve.

Personally, it would seem you would have to hold the EVO at 45 degrees: very tiring.

Get an 18mm to 14mm connector/adapter .
The top will be 18mm female and the bottom will be 14mm male to
connect to your 14mm downstem .

Ok will do. I'm thinking I'll get it but I won't use it while I'm in the states on vacation. Will use the vaporblunt waterpipe attachment that fits on top my Evo and keep the Helix waterpipe 100% clean. International flight.

While that would work, I don't think it's an ideal setup. Not only do you have to hold your Evo inverted and at a 45° angle, you'd have the added extension of the 14/18 expander making it especially susceptible to damage during use caused by gravitational torque on the joint.

So you suggest just getting a 18mm downstem?

bajangreen,
That would be better, but I find 45-degree angled pieces to be "fussy" with the Evo since you need to support (or at least should) it during use.

Best bet is to find a vertical stemless piece. That way the weight of the Evo is evenly distributed and can be used hands-free. :2c:

:peace:
Vertical stemless piece to work with that pipe? Most headshops have those?

Agree on all counts with Stu. If you're worried about price, check out the cheap glass thread. Plenty of functional pieces for a steal of a price.

I meant a piece with a vertical stem in lieu of the beaker "pipe" (45° angled stem). So in other words, a different "pipe" altogether.

:peace:
Ah, I will see if they would be willing to exchange it or refund it. Looks like it would've been cool, but it seems to be causing more drama than good.

If not, I'd have to make sure I keep a hand on it while it's in 45 degree position huh?

Thanks again. Should've consulted the forum before purchasing that... The tornado effect for the vapor did sound really good tho.

If all I do is vape with a dry hydratube, would I be better off with a glass mouthpiece?

I heard back from vxh service last night (a Sunday!) regarding my faulty sidetree and they are sending me a new one with a return label for the bad one. I requested the evolver version, not sure if that's possible, but so far I am happy with the service.

Great Scott!

Yes. The hydratube would just be adding volume for you at that point. IMO the mouthpiece is big enough volume for a big hit.

That being said, have you tried a hydratube with water?
