This is why you don't let your wife watch kickass 2 in the background noise:rofl: I did not even notice in the first video until I went to upload it...could be all the recycler testing :ko:

And another view

Edit- just posted these in the recycler appreciation thread but figured some should go here as well

The more I see that single striped uptake tube the more I like it. I have to admit I didn't care much for it at first based off the initial photos Cory sent. I'm glad he had a master vision that worked well in the end! You might even say he planned it that way?

Deadshort480

We're here to fuck shit up.
@Deadshort480 why do you spin the carb cap?
I find that it creates a thicker vapor for a more efficient dab. Before I drop my dab I preheat the carb cap on my enail. This will ensure that the temperature of the nail doesn't drop super fast once the dab is down as if a cold carb cap was placed on top. The spinning keeps the air circulation at a maximum so that one spot is not cooled down as you draw. I've found that the combination of low temp, preheating the carb cap, and spinning the carb cap all help in turning very small dabs into much larger ones due to efficiency.

I've also come up with a bit of a theory since using that Quartz Orb nail. I found that when I cap the orb, the small puddle on the bottom of the orb splatters all over the inside of the orb which instantly vaporizes the very small droplets of oil compared to the slow melt of a larger single puddle, but does not scorch the oil due to the nail being the proper temperature. I'm assuming that something similar happens in the dish of a Ti nail when capped. I figure as you spin the cap the carb hole rotates around the entire dish forcing air in to splatter the puddle within the dish causing a faster rate of vaporization which will cause thicker vapor, but since the cap is also heated the puddle does not cool down as fast and it gives little opportunity for any vapor to condense on the inside of the carb cap. It's really helped with conserving dabs. I've found that with the larger dabs I had gotten used to, a buddy and myself can pass a rig back and forth twice off one dab before we don't draw any more vapor using these methods.

I thought I remembered someone above asking for pictures to better judge the size of these custom recyclers. I just realized that I never posted the pic Cory sent me when he first finished mine--it gives a much better overall view than the videos I've posted. I was initially worried that I'd find the mouthpiece too long, but it's so perfect!

Well, you can. All you need do is order it from Cory. I am hoping mine will arrive next week.

It's a pretty remarkable piece for $150 to FC members, at least currently.

so I'm new here.
if I wanted to buy one from Cory, how/where do I go about doing that?

I read the OP in this topic but at the bottom it basically disclaims the whole post by saying 'DO NOT CONTACT' the guy he originally ordered it from. where do you go now?

I'm a particular fan of scientific recyclers, like my own favorite daily-driver:

and the one that Meghan just posted for a size reference is very attractive.
I would love to add something like that to the collection.

how do you guys go about ordering from Cory Glass?
thanks in advance for any feedback! sorry I didn't read through the other 23 pages :p

The only way to order from Cory that I am aware of is to join KIK, a smartphone message service and contact him on there at coryglassdesigns. KIK is available from itunes for IOS and the google store for android and is free.

Please go back and re-read the beginning, because it has the information you're asking in the very first post. Looks like you may have skimmed past it.

Didn't have my tape handy, but here is a shot showing the size a bit better. Compared to a vaporblunt water tool and a cloud+. Not sure the height exactly but I believe the water tool is 12inches. The recycler is about 3" taller at the mouthpiece

I miss my Cloud+ aha (although only out of nostalgia, the cloud EVO just kiiiills it, and I have to repeat, i'm in love with your recycler.

@sasNW how's the recycler with your VXC?

I don't have his recycler, but with my evo the recycler has so little drag and function I find more then any other piece I can fully clear and entire elb ( as in hit it til its milky white then crystal clear again without any clear). It blows my mind how much easier it is to clear elbs in one hit with CGD recycler, even compared to my other glass or recycler ( which was a cheaper (well i guess not in price, cory is amazing, dick ricin' a llll day) 100 honeycomb so way shittier drag).

@gigaurora nailed it! Nearly zero drag, and I'm killing Elbs in a couple rips if I want. This is producing the largest rips I've ever taken without coughing a lung up with the cloud+. By far the nicest hitting piece I've personally tried, and she ain't bad to look at either :brow:
