Nausea: The Monster

It came out of nowhere today.

I was running errands.......
No.

300 feet away, I feel it .....

I didn't have my vaporizer on me.

I slipped up today....

@Vitolo.....I thought of you while I was in my battle....
I feel ill thinking of the position you were in. I am sorry, Quetz..
Well fought, buddy... well done.
You are a step closer to never forgetting that vape!.
You have made me cry, buddy... by thinking of me in your time of turmoil.
breath easy.... your burden is shared.

First of all Welcome!
I'm not a medical doctor however I'm a MM Patient.

I started with edibles and concentrates.

Lately I just have flowers.
I played around with various strains to see what gave me the best benefit.

I'm sure there must be a strain that relaxes your stomach.

In my case I can't eat gluten or I lose my ability to speak. I can't have dairy products cow based or I will curl up in a fetus postion.

I deal with naseaua every morning.

I wake and vape not to recreate but to mediate.

Before coffee I vaporize. I have some strains that work great for me and I use them at different times of day and night.

Some of my friends like sativas.
I like INDICAS (night time) and HYBRIDS INDICA Dominant (day time) Dominate.

Sativas make me paranoid.
Concentrates give me a headache?
Edibles freak me out?

Vaporizing flowers has the most pleasant effect I've found as I process in my journey for relief!

Find your sweet spot!
It seems we all respond differently?
Maybe @Vitolo can comment on this issue?

Thanks to everyone for your responses. When I first started smoking, it was to help my chronic pain and inflammaltory bowel disease. I am vegan , 8 yrs. now.. but I've been sick for 15 yrs., which is why I gave up all animal products, then tuning into animal rights. I do not eat any dairy. I was tested for gluten allergy and it came up negative. I know that cutting back on gluten is healthier, but I am not ready to completely give it up. When I first started smoking, it didn't bother me. Then I started feeling sick and switched to vaping. When I started vaping, I thoroughly enjoyed it, until I started getting sick again with ear aches, congestion, and then fevers.
I am under the care of numerous doctors; I take Nexium and Librax for my stomach and a low dose antidepressant. The higher doses eventually made my pain worse and I was having constant nightmares. I also cut way back on my xanax; I only take about 3/4 of the lowest dose daily.
After getting repeatedly sick from the vaporizers, (DaBuddha and a Pax), I ordered a Magic butter machine. After taking only 2 bites of the brownie, I got severely ill, ears aching, congestion, and severe nausea. I took about 5 days off then ate a small bite of brownie this morning, and got the same symptoms; my throat felt swollen; luckily it didn't completely close off.
I got a call back from my allergist today who said they were ordering a kit w/synthetic hemp to test me for allergy.
I am definitely taking a breather because my immune system clearly can't handle any of it right now. I can't even tolerate strong smells like perfumed hair spray, or I get the achy ears, congestion, and fevers.
I do make healthy smoothies every morning, no dairy... but my immune system stinks; and of all things, I get approved for MM and can't use it when it's supposed to help me feel better.
I won't give up the fight; hopefully this will pass; or they can come up with a solution for my issues. My internist who got me into the MM program wanted to put me on oral steroids, which I refused. The side effects are awful (I've tried them in the past).. so I just accepted Nasonex which isn't helping any with medicating myself herbally.
I know my system is low right now b/c even my hypo-allergetic cat is getting to me right now. My immune system is getting worse, but hopefully turns around again.... so wish me luck... I miss my medication.. it makes me happy. Not very happy right now; but at least the THc didn't kill me yet. Thanks for reading.... I wish you all good health & great herb. :)

p.s, I am not touching anything until I get some answers afer I am tested by the allergist. And I keep an epi-pen with me.. just in case. My throat closed up once from pine nuts.. another time from locust bean gum that was in a pro-biotic drink. I am going to start taking acidophilus again!

Does anyone on here have any experience with Omeprazole for their nausea? My general practitioner put me on a six week course of it because we have been unable to ascertain the cause of my chronic nausea through the usual gamut of lab tests for intolerance to gluten, lactose, the presence of stomach parasites, et cetera. Upon prescribing it to me she had mentioned that it was often very useful in resetting the gastrointestinal system, and encouraging the regrowth of healthy intestinal flora and bacteria which aid in digestion. I know it can cause issues with bone density loss and osteoporosis if used over a long period, which is why she was hesitant to prescribe it long-term.

My experiences with the drug were very positive: during the six-week period I was taking it daily, a great deal of my nausea subsided, the daily morning cramps were gone, and I found myself more readily able to eat throughout the day (which I need to work on before my blood sugar goes too haywire).

However, since stopping my six-week course, which ran out just under a month ago, the nausea seems almost worse than it was prior to taking the Omeprazole. It seems like in my case, resetting my gastrointestinal system did not have the desired effect.

I see my doctor again in a month, and I have been referred to a gastroenterologist (and warned that it may be 9 months before I hear back from them). I was just curious in the meantime if anyone has any experience with this medication as far as nausea is concerned.

I said to my partner the other day that I just want to wake up in the morning, even for one day, and not be instantly floored by the sensation of wanting to vomit out of both ends of my body. This past week, the cramps are back with a vengeance, and my spouse mentioned just this morning that while I have always been afflicted with chronic nausea, neither of us could recall a time in which it seemed to be actively aggravating me this much (putting aside when I used to drink). Essentially the chronic nausea and diarrhea with the occasional unbearable stomach cramps has escalated into a daily affair with enough pain and cramping that even my partner is noticing that something is off. Most days this week I have had to lie down for a few hours because it just becomes too intense to do much of anything else. It's possible that I am coming down with a stomach flu, but it doesn't seem to fit the profile, since I seem to have been getting gradually worse since finishing the aforementioned medication. I just hope that taking this medication for six weeks did not somehow worsen my condition.

Does anyone on here have any experience with Omeprazole for their nausea?
Yes I do. Like you I tried to drop the "pill" after having been on it a while and found it to be problematic, however, I was taking Celebrex at the time which was really causing problems. Without Omeprazole I would throw up on just one little sip of coffee or if an odor I didn't like was generated in the kitchen. Now that I'm on it again, and off the Celebrex, my tummy is feeling better. My new drug Otezla is hard on the tummy but in a different way. It just creates a pain spot, no nausea, that goes away after a bit. So I think I will continue with the Omeprazole since it does seem to really help me.

I've just been prescribed a 2 week course of it to replace my
Lansoprazole.

The nausea went on day 1 after 2 lotus bowls of amnesia haze (all gone now) and later on blueberry. The next day I was too weak to vape so smoked a pure one not very clever idea with burning causing pain what a tit I am.

Still not eaten yet nor medicated today.

I guess we are all different and less trusting than others?

When the doctors had me on PROZAC,
AMBEIN C, VICODONE, CELERBREX and a few others I was getting worse?

A few years ago when I quit all drugs I did better. For sleep (INDICA).
For my projects (HYBRID)
Sativas I love however I become paranoid? (have to stay away)

I know people freak out (especially my DAD) I'm gluten free. People think it's a fad or some food relgion. I wish it was that simple? I had stomach craps 3 or 4 times a day and would slur my words like a drunk or stroke victim!
I tried for a week to eliminate Gluten from my diet. I learned to make gluten free brownies, Bread, Cookies, Sauces, Pasta and Waffles.

At first it tasted not as good as gluten based products. However once I figured a few things out even my DAD wants me to bring over my gluten free treats!

Then there is dairy? Ice Cream (addicted), Cow cheese, Butter, Cow Milk.

I quit my pint of ice cream habit and my acid reflux went away?
I eat sheep and goat cheese instead of cow. There getting better as more are becoming available. I added OMEGA 3,
Vitamin D, PROBIOTICS and COQ10.

I make smoothies after coffee (I cup every morning).

Cannabis helps me eat and feel better.
I can walk and talk with CANNABIS than without it? (that's why I'm so zealous!)

I love the taste of vaporized cannabis!
The food taste better!
I love wine (reds) mostly however I can only have 1/2 of a wine glass per night or less. I drink for taste.
Beer makes me sick!
I have a collection of Cognac's I can't drink because they make my stomach hurt.

Cannabis helps me function!

Don't get me wrong please!
I know many of you find benefits in drugs and doctors. Good for you.

For 10 years I tried to figure out what was going on with me? I seen the top doctors at the most respected medical units in the USA, FRANCE, CHILE?

One doctor said that I have allergies?
One doctor said I have a reflux issue?
One doctor said it's in my head?
One doctor said it's in my ears?
Guessing?
10 years of wondering?
A full blown clone of DR HOUSE type neurologist spent 5 minutes with me and knew what I had! (after a 10 year journey)
He had me immediately have a MRI of my brain! My CEREBELLUM was shrinking! He said: "I was right you have ATAXIA"! This is the bad news.
"The good news is it won't kill you however you will die with it"!
I will loose my ability to walk one day and I'm preparing for that day. My speech is better than most with my disease. That's why I eat healthier. No processed or fast food in my diet either.

I fight nausea a lot in the morning however a probiotic and a wake and vake scares the "MONSTER" away!

Do whatever works for your situation!
@mvapes I know it's not Parkinson's however it's more serious than people know!
I quit driving recently.
If I have a laps?
We all have something I guess!

All of these "proton/protease pump inhibitors" are pretty much the same drug, they flip a molecule to get a new patent and give it a new name and viola!, market diversification and never-ending patent (price) protection. Don't take any of them for more than a year or so, as they have horrible long-term side effects.

Monster didnt bother knocking today. Over did my self yesterday since i was coping ok and had my box loaded and with me and now im paying for it. Still feel like crap but ive only thrown up once vs the ball of misery i would have been pre-MJ

Nothing but respect for you OP.
:peace:

I have been a sufferer of nausea as long as I can remember.
I've never looked into why it might be.

I've googled male morning sickness is about it, and the search results are pretty sure I'm due in 8 months or less.

I just know that vapor is the cure.

Thank you.... I am so depressed w/o my medication; and my allergies got worse; I can't stop brinigng up mucus. I didn't even get off the sofa today. :(

Sadly I find it can be a vicious circle too weak to move/eat/or sleep and laying about makes it worse.

Those Omeprazole seem to have made a difference I managed to get a full 2 hours sleep in one go. Mind I did dream half my teeth fell out.

Vaping made me sick ad that's why I tried brownies; only the brownies made me worse; I got sevre nausea from it. So I don't know what to do: i am completely miserable and depressed without my medicine. :(
Im sorry @thcissues it took me a while tofinmy right strain so iw ent through about 2 months of making things worse before better. I found that for someone who never used MJ before i had even less tolerance than other people who had never used any. I had to go with low potency indica strains (querkle was my first love it strain) and use a low temp (350F or less) only taking 1 - 3 hits in the evenings. As i slowly built a mild tolerance ive found i canuse it anytine of day now and it a lifesaver so glad i didnt give upon it.

All the edibles ive tried thus far have made me far to dizzy but i havent tried my high CBD ones yet. Wishing you the best.
