The conversation was getting interesting, but is being sensored? Why? How come any time I wanna talk about safety, which is a reasonable priority, the thread is closed?

@jdee So a doctor told you that there is no concern but didn't know the temps?

Where are you seeing the DBV doesn't reach over 500?

500 degrees is still pretty hot, if could be giving off fumes ...

Those two statements reveal your lack of understanding of the vaporization process. No vape should go over 500F because all your herbs would be burning by that point, not vaporizing.

I'm not sure which of us shut it down, but I was tempted to. SS is generally accepted as safe and is one of the best materials to use in a vape. As a community we would prefer SS to just about any other metal for safety reasons. SS, glass and ceramic are the best materials used so far in any of my vapes. You don't need to sweat the off-gassing with ss.
