@grokit You must have gotten the last 18mm bowl cause that's OOS on the site also. About 2 weeks ago, I sent my Infinity (heater and body only) in to Chris to have a new body mounted, two Sundays ago he said it would ship back to me on Monday, but no word since, so I hope it is back soon, I miss it a lot. Thank god I have an Herbalizer to tide me over. My paranoia about shipping my versa back caused me to pull the trigger on the Massdrop evo deal, I wonder which will get to me first, that or my Versa?

Chris did confirm he got my unit, but said it was very damaged, which surprised me because I thought I packaged it almost as well as DHgate. I asked him for specifics on what broke, but again, haven't heard back.

Chris said he was getting low on the flower bowls, hopefully he has more on the way. He also said that he has a good supply of those concentrate bowls, that's another reason I hope they end up working out.

Maybe with two body replacements to work on he'll be up to getting them both done, fingers crossed!

That's good to know, I'll been meaning to grab one of those concentrate bowls so maybe when my body comes back. The only thing is I have no access to concentrates atm, but it's next up at the ballot box. Have you tried it with oil/sublimate, or kief? That's what I have access to until something changes.
---Haven't tried any of the things you mentioned, just quality honeycmb/moonrock/crumble/shatter. Same good results with each type.

What is your preferred voltage for flowers with the stock bowl, on boost?
If im hunting flavor, I go 60-75, maybe covering the boost hole for a sec or two. To get to that "forget about life/pain" threshold, I'll go almost max, without covering hole for boost. i did combust once at over 100, while covering boost hole too long, just once though.

I've been without my infinity for about a couple of weeks now, and there's no substitute imo. I have an evo and while it's not far behind power-wise, I don't like it as much ergonomically and I find the elb's to be a hassle. This is why I'm rooting for this concentrate bowl to work for you guys!

By ergonomically I mean that with the evo it's harder to just grab the cool part of it, without bumping the knob out of adjustment. This is one reason I like the fact that the infinity has a separate controller box. Also even with a more supple cord than stock, there's no contest the evo cord is still quite a bit more cumbersome than the versa setup. What the evo has going for it is it's a little lighter, and much more durable (unless it falls on the bamboo). Although I doubt that the evo would have survived the event that caused the demise of my infinity, it might have had better odds.

I would love to pick and choose features between these two vapes, and create the ultimate hybrid!

It seems that the versa website is close to being up to speed, it just needs a functional shopping cart (it was limited to just one item checkout when I grabbed my extra bowl), infinity bodies to be "in stock" for us, and complete stater kits need to be listed for new customers. On the upside of versa's status atm, is that we have gotten a great deal on a one-of-a-kind heavy-hitting vaporizer!
--- Agreed! I was really worried once Versa was "outted", but i am super impressed with my Infinity and its powerful nature. I have owned various VXL Cloud versions, LSV/SSV/DBV, and more, so I don't say that lightly. The Infinity can stand with any of those(and even exceed in some areas).

I think that all of our beta units have been "tuned" slightly different, I also believe that chris is continuing to tinker with this stuff. We've got huge differences in our reported voltage sweet spots, some of us have bodies/heater cores made for boosting, and some are built for inflation. While it would be nice if a single unit could provide both boost and inflation, I think it may be an intractable issue without changing the whole infinity design. I know that I wouldn't mind grabbing a second heater/body/base for airpump/balloon use at some point, especially if prices stay in beta:) and the same controller box could be used for both units.
fwiw--My model isn't one of the ones that do bags(I will never have a need for that)

About .05g used

Cool whip hack! The lighting in the video makes the whip look like it's got bioluminescence.

I am really missing my Infinity....just heard back from Chris, he says it should be drop shipped back to me by Friday. It's been two long weeks without it so far...two long weeks...my backup vapes are sure happy they are getting more use now though.

What I am getting from this thread and the 10 pages back I read. This is a great vaporizer that is not available to the public quite yet? and they had bad customer service or something?

It is tough coming back to FC after a time away, I don't have time to read all 78 pages of this thread, and Fireflys thread , and grasshoppers thread, and the hammers thread...ugh.

The creator of the infinity had a couple of other vapes in the past that didn't end up working out, and unfortunately some members were left hanging. I think this vaporizer is a winner, but the past may affect the future. I hope the infinity makes it to a wider market because it's a fucking beast like no other.

Exchanged my long UD gong for the Hammer gong a very appealing look on my water pipe.

I bought a fusion pump but i can't recommend them, decided to return after the first test bag. At full speed it took 3 minutes to fill which isn't very feasible. Hoping the herbalaire high output pump works well. They say it will fill a bag in 20-30 seconds and the three bag mouthpiece can fill three bags in 1 min-1.5 mins. I am expecting this to be the final decider of whether or not bags will be worth it.

I used this ~$30 pump to fill my herbie bag with my evo:

It filled in ~30 seconds, which is reportedly volcano speed

Yeah I never got it going with my infinity because of the boost hole in my heater core. Not to mention the hole where the wires go in. I had posted the info in the evo thread, because that's where I got it to work.

Does your heater core have a side hole in it where the wires go in?

@paytonpenn, what concerns me is the hole where the wires go into the inner heater core, how is that sealed for inflation? On mine that hole looks like it will leak air, not as much as the boost hole but still...

Got a pm last Saturday from Chris that it was on its way back but hasn't arrived yet. :-( its been almost a month without it.
Any news since this? I haven't heard from him at all since I sent my heater core in. Dammit.

The pump came and I am currently satisfied. Bags are quick and not too bad, unfortunately I need to do a better video this was my first usage on testing the pump and it was pretty pitiful.. I've had much better results the amount loaded in the video was less than .05g

I've tested on 60v, 85v, and max temp. Max temp was really nice but I am seeing the extraction to vape in form of an O.

Extraction hasn't been too consistent but I've been having to change things as I go.

I did do another bag but at max temp it didn't extract much for some reason.

Posted this in the HI thread as well since @Alan made it. It's a great adapter for HT's and whips. It just kicked my ass with a couple whip hits at 65v/boost. :mmmm:

Glad to hear it is working well. I am using this tube setup for almost all of my roasting lately. I get so many more hits and the flavor is always great.
