So i'm wondering what's the max temperature setting when simmering ABV in coconutoil?
I found different results 325°F (160°C) , 260°F (125°C), 200°F (90°C) so i'm not really sure any advice?

I think crock pot simmer is 185f. I'd go with that over several hours, or even overnight. Grind up your abv very fine beforehand and strain it out after.

Yeah i did search in the cooking section but didn't really find a specific answer...

What's the minimal temperature required for the THC to attach to the fatty molecules of the coconut oil ?

And for how long? To make a successful and potent batch? I was thinking around 8hrs - 12hrs.
But again i saw someone else who let it simmer for 24hrs or even 5days..

And what's the max temperature setting before the active compounds in the ABV begin to break off?

The idea with the crock pot is low and slow cooking. Think of it like a slow cook stew or chili. I'd say do it overnight on the lowest setting. Longer than that probably won't release much more. As long and the coconut oil melts and simmers for several hours with your abv it will bond with the THC. Make sure you have enough coconut oil to barely cover the abv.

Just keep an eye on it and be aware that it will create an odor. Good luck.

If you havent used it before, why not do a trial run using some less precious material like tea? Just to control the temp.

No worries i made it on 185f, turned out to be some potent oil!

Already tried the ABV milkshake method (very cold) and i really can't stand the taste.

With the brownies you almost don't notice the abv taste.

That looks excellent. Nice job. How long did you simmer it?

About 8hrs. Very good oil, i was surprised by the quality of this stuff..
Next time maybe i can try simmer on a higher temp? Somebody replied above 225f.

experiment with it. as long as you keep an eye on it and make sure it's not burning you should be good. I really like having all that potent thc in an easy to use coconut oil. the possibilities are virtually endless.
