Recycler update: I heard from him a couple hours ago but didn't check my phone. He hooked me up with a function video and I can confirm a pretty good vortex. We discussed bombproof shipping and he will be using this technique and shipping out tomorrow.

I got these instructions for bombproof shipping from boromarket:

You always want to wrap the piece with a nice layer of bubble wrap before anything.

Put it in a box with peanuts on the bottom, and try to protect the edges as much as possible, that is most important.

Protect the top of the box with either bubble wrap, extra peanuts, or cardboard.

Seal the box up (pictured with tamper proof tape).

Open up a slightly bigger box, put peanuts on the bottom and place the box into that one.

Put peanuts in that box, stuff all the sides in with peanuts and put a little on top.

Protect the top of the box with either bubble wrap, extra peanuts, or cardboard.

Seal it up and you have officially been bomb proofed.

Im looking for a recycler but unlike yours i want a longer mouthpiece that goes up straight then sort of makes a question mark towards ur mouth. I also want the bottom can to be bigger for bigger rips and 18 mm female. 6 hole donut too? Any comments or suggestions? Also any idea how to properly convey this sentiment to the blower? When revealed of course.

If it's as good as it looks I might have to give him a try, how long would you say it was between first contact and finished product?
I made first contact on 7/12
He started it on 7/15
Sent a photo of finished piece 7/16
Shipping out today 7/17

So like no time at all and pretty good communication all for $150 which is amazing.

See people, you don't have to wait months or pay $300 for a legit recycler from a legit artist

Yeah, but if you look at that vortex action - it doesn't seem to pitch the water properly for a high velocity spin. Compare to an EarlJr Recycler

I can see the difference, the UA (Unknown Artist) piece doesn't seem to vortex until the water is draining back into the 1st can. Seems like the 2nd can needs that indentation on the top to really get a vortex going.

Is it just me...
But does Cory still have the better vortex?
I think it depends whose Cory piece you are talking about. I know I saw one that seemed much weaker than some of his others. No offense to the owner

I think he just needs to make the cans more similar size. Or at least the vortex one smaller.
I agree that the vortex can is quite large but not sure if it's a size thing. Perhaps height related IDK

I have watched the video a bunch of times with excitement and disagree. It takes a moment for it to start but seems to vortex throughout the hit, just extra smooth as it drains.

That Earl Jr is very nice BTW just more than I am currently trying to pay. Please remember when comparing the difference in price of these pieces and also availability

While it didn't start right away, it also could easily just be the water level. I want to see what it can do with a bit more water in it, looks like it may whirlpool from the start then. Definitely can't cast my vote till I see a bit more experimenting with it. Good find @blankrider
That's a good point, recyclers are supposed to use quite a bit of water.

I was also thinking a bit more water. Glad to see someone waiting for more than a few seconds from a single video before their mind is made up

If you couldn't tell by the Cory thread, I'm not in a hurry for much:D That whole patience is a virtue thing.... I Kinda take it to heart.
With how easy you are saying he is to work with, there is no way I could take him off my list. The ability to customize bits and pieces for $150 can't be denied as a great value, especially if it vortexes like it seems it will:2c:
