I was using a Volcano and the budtender saw me put my normal small load of herb in and said, "pffft, put some in there" so I did...... did 2 Volcano bags, filled a third, and then told the budtender I feel really bad, and it got worse. Felt faint, felt nauseous , felt like I had to throw up, felt like I couldn't walk 10 steps if you offered me $1000 to do so, was hearing all dozen conversations in the shop at once (and I'm hard of hearing). Your face turns white as a ghost. Bud was Amnesia Haze which has one effect listed as "can have psychedelic effect". Came real close to asking her to call an ambulance, it was that bad. Really glad I passed on doing the 3rd volcano bag!!!!
It takes very little herb for me but I was having some bad back pains so listened to the budtender, why not do more than usual, what's the harm?? Wrong, should have listened to my original judgment.
....2 hours later, was finally able to ride my bike back to North Amsterdam.
Amnesia Haze in moderation....A+
Too much Amnesia Haze....big trouble

OK, I went to the dispensary today and the Matanuska Tundra
Alaskan Thunderfuck was a Sativa. I had bought it elsewhere and it wasn't
labeled. I had previously thought it was an Indica. It works simiiar to an
Indica. Online it said there are several that originated from the same area
and they labeled several different types Thunderfuck. Maybe they like the
name.

I always thought is was a sativa, but it may be a hybrid. Northern light is an indica that has been crossed countless times because of it's short growing season, so there may be some of that in the genuine article.

Does anyone have a fav Indica? I tried a strain today called Tahoe Og, just a sample it's an Indica, I liked it and may get some more. I'm looking for something for evening.

Any good ideas, something high in THC.:leaf::zzz:

EDIT: I ll take this to the Indica thread.

My favorite indica I've tried is Skywalker OG. Completely calms any anxiety I have and lets me fall asleep quick.

I really like the retro nut chopper. Does it get sticky inside. Is it easy to clean? When chopping with some pruning scissors I have, I usually have to stop and razor the goodies off of the blades to keep them working well.
Edit: I just found my old nut chopper. @syrupy I think you have a much earlier version! Mine looks to be from the late '60s to early '70s.

I dig the retro-jetsons designs they have on those vintage choppers. :bowdown:

Can you post a shot where we can see the teeth? And more of that sticky. I posted some of my chopper in the grinder thread, but it got buried quickly.

Mine chews through flowers like Godzilla through Tokyo. It just gravity feeds, and I only need to push the material once at the end to get that last bit massacred. I haven't cleaned it yet, but I did look for a nut chopper that had no plastic in it so it could be cleaned more thoroughly, probably a brush dipped in iso, we'll see. It's more of something to grind up 5 or 10g's at a time. Get those grapes cut down to size.

Mine was ten bucks free shipping on fee-bay. Fifteen tops for a nice one. Sorry SCS.

@DieHard those teeth look sharp enough. The hopper is quite small, so I could see material bouncing around in there before falling. That could gum up quickly, like a grinder does.

All medical dispensaries have memberships and what that entails basically is you signing over the number of plants you are legally allowed to grow to them, and in return getting lower prices for their products and sometimes great deals like the one I mentioned. Not all of them do separate pricing for members and non members but usually there's a 5 to 10 dollar difference in pricing on an 8th just as an example.

At this specific dispensary non member 8ths are 32$ while member 8ths are 28$ sometimes 26$. At another dispensary across town all 8ths are 25 out the door regardless, instead they give members a 25 dollar quarter once a month.
