Discontinued The Hammer Vaporizer

FlyingLow

Team NO SLEEP!
I have been out of the country, but just emailed to see if I might also test a gasket. Looks to be all positive reviews:)

I have been using my Hammer a lot more with my Ed's stem recently. Here is a pic.
Real thick and sturdy wood, beautiful finish, excellent dry stem, mouthpiece also doubles as a 14mm WonG adapter;)

Ed hit a home run with this one. I got to get more pics off my phone...

Today while at work I received my gasket set, Thank you @Hammer Vaporizer, so while at my desk I put it in my Hammer and instantly my heat exchanger was nice and stable.
I found the best way to install the gasket is to put it in only part way, just enough to make sure its not caught up. Once you make sure its clear push the Hammer down on a flat surface. It will set the gasket so flush it almost looks like one piece. I'll report back on the stem gasket once I try it out.

So I was using the stem gasket with a few of my bubblers this weekend and I must say I works excellent! And from the looks of it if you were to use a similar gasket with the same inside diameter to fit the stem but 18MM outside diameter it should work with 18MM downstem, right? Either way Thank You again @Hammer Vaporizer for the new gaskets my Hammer is Kickin' Ass:rockon:!!!
How long before we see these gaskets for sale on the website? I've got a couple of friends, not FC members, who bought The Hammer after using mine and now they want gaskets too.

I hope it is not too late to get in on the new accessories, I wrote in but had not heard back yet.... fingers crossed!

Here are some long overdue pics of my Hammer stem from Ed:)

This piece has been a real breath of fresh air on the road, IMO a bit more discrete than the stock stem:tup:

Nice pics Flyinglow!

I found a nice way for a quick and deep medication, I load a small bowl of grinded flowers in my lock on stem to catch the excess of oil cause I want to use my hammer first as a nail, so I use this stem for 2 or 3 small dabs and after you can vape your oily flower stem! be carefull it's strong!

Got my gasket @Hammer Vaporizer !

I installed it on my old device and managed to have a seal from vapor path and outer chassis, it needs a silicone/silicone contact and regular circlips because diameter of heater and new black gasket does not match, i thought it would but was surprised to receive black gasket and white thick gasket.

Another thing is that the black gasket is a bit out of chassis but is stable and permits to blow for temp control.

Other positions i tried and succed to install it did not have a seal. seal was obtained with procedure:

-put circlips on nude heating port#2
-put thick white gasket and align with port edge
-insert black gasket to have a silicone/silicone seal

May be i missed the mounting and have to test on other new devices, batches, tolerance talking tec.

Hammer is still a monster convective and fully portable device.

With wood stems making no break device.

Cheers fellow vaporists!

RUDE BOY

Space is the Place
The thick "white" gasket is put on the end of a stem to make it useable as a gong Vapodudule, the black one just fills out the space in one end of the heat exchanger so the butane blows out of the top but there is no complete "seal" around the center post the "seal" is around the plastic housing.

Hi there, I've joined the Hammer gang! Purchased my unit a week or so ago (via a retailer, no custom stems or GonG adapter :(), and got it on Monday. I bought it because VAS because I wanted a backup, butane powered vaporizer. And yes, it also blew my expectations away. I've read the thread (well, almost finished) and really wanted to say how much I (most people probably) appreciate the care given by the manufacturers. Luckily, I haven't had to use your customer service, but such an outstanding presence on FC really assured me that I had made the right choice.

Anyway, for Plenty owners; the mouthpiece, including the bit of silicone tubing (similar to the UD tubing I suppose), is literally a perfect fit for the Hammer. Place a screen just above the plastic mouthpiece, and you are left with a bowl slightly larger then the solo. It really takes away my biggest issue with the unit, the durability of glass stems, and I actually found the end result more in line with the overall design of the hammer!

So I am officially out of the Prototype Gasket Sets :(. I think I was able to send one to everyone that requested one, even a few overseas. There are a few more going out tomorrow, so if you sent the request in the last few days, you should have it next week. Thanks to everyone that is participating in our beta test, so far the feedback has been very good. If you haven't provided feedback yet, just PM it to me or email support@thehammervaporizer.com in the next week or two. We will be reviewing it all in a few weeks, but it looks like these will at least make it on the site as a la carte accessories.

Here are some long overdue pics of my Hammer stem from Ed:)

Wow, that stem looks really nice @FlyingLow. Might have to get me one from Ed. Really like how it was made to fit 14mm gong.

I'm overseas! Can't I have a gasket??

Either way when they go retail if you could send @VapeFiend a few I'll happily buy one from him. Seems like a worthwhile accessory.

I've been neglecting my hammer recently, I think today will be a day of getting hammered. I have to say the hammer didn't steal my heart in its aesthetics but functionally it really works. I'm going off grid for six months next year and living out of a van and rest assured between the hammer and my VM I will be enjoying true freedom.

Not the most I normative of post but I had I chime in and show love to the hammer heads.

Stay hammered. Peace

I'm a little worried about the as heater in my hammer. The ss tube gets extremely hot (as we all know) and at pouts even glows red. Now I was under the impression that heating SS to this level can cause damage to the metal and can enter the air path. A bit like SS nails for dabs.

I'd love some reassurance from you guys.

What do you reckon?

Well, IMHO and normally the optimal temperature operating is way behind the glowing red (cherry red color for french blacksmith).

You are indeed confirming that temperature brought to a material made of cristals of metal is transforming it by the time. yes mettallurgy says that SS transforms but i cannot tell for the health issue of it though (engineer not medic). Same for Titanium and glass or borosilicate.

IME the hammer no needs to be red hot to perform tremendously as the inhale process is necessary to operate and steals heat from the system.

What was the hammer being sold at during the 420 deal?

Edit: MF with kava oil. A user a few pages back mentioned a cardboard stem that MF sent with kava oil. What is that?

Edit: Nano is a type of vaporizer I think, erased that question.

I have received my hammer from Vapefiend (cost me 80 pounds = 160 dollar) and I still love it!
I also wish I could live in USA. (Land of Vaporizer:myday:)
The Hammer definitely outperform, my Wispr2 and MFLB.:disgust:
I do acknowledge that there are million users of MFLB will defend their vaporizer is da best:goon:, but I really don't think so.
I have various vaporizers to compare and this straight became my top of the list on first use!
My best portable vaporizer list atm are

1. Firefly (No doubt da best!)
2. Arizer Solo (I have two solo, which are not solo anymore:rofl:)
3. The Hammer:clap:

If you are looking for pure convection, go for Firefly, or Thermovape Cera. (But there is learning curve)
If you are looking for 1~3 quick hit, which are more like hitting bong go for Hammer!

One to three hits from the Hammer are equivalent to full 12min session from Solo. (Same buzzing)

I never had any combustion issue or taste butane. (Ofcourse I can smell some, as its operated by Butane, If you want to complain about butane smell, try Iolite vaporizers lol :bang:)

If you experience combustion try lower the temperature setting about to middle.
