Celibacy, be damned! Sorry Jesus. Spinuch let me chat with you in the confession booth,IE the PM and see what we can do to keep your yootfull spirit intact.

Any one else with a humming Indica? This is a new recurring anomaly, kind of cool. It's a bit annoying but not harmful. So far, I've heard of two, now three reports. It's caused when the chamber sits against the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). When a production worker has placed the PCB incorrectly at a specific angle assembling the Indica, the heat generated from the chamber causes the PCB to generate a harmonic hum. The chamber is fully insulated so it's not direct heat.

Never saw it coming. I have one friend who has been using his for 3 months with no issue but the silly humming noise.

The reason there is so many different units is because there is no right answer for everyone. This unit may not be for you. I read so many posts that decry and belittle manufacturers when there is a hiccup. (real or perceived) Try not to think of yourself as a consumer but rather an explorer. Best of luck on resolution.

My first one never hummed before it stopped heating up.

And I will put it in the mail this weekend, been too damn busy to make it to the PO during biz hours.

Loving my replacement as long as I remember to run an ISO'd cleaner through regularly.

If I order the Indica now, will i be able to upgrade to the v2 when it comes out, or has that not been decided yet?

Any answer on what is causing the fuming yet? The risk of a fuming unit is the only thing keeping me from buying one.

Both my Indica's hum. I figured it was a coil buzzing and part of the normal operation. My first indica's heater died after a week of use [then sat until I thought to sign up here]. Second one I just noticed has the silicone seal defect. It had a very strong odor in the packaging; a sweet smell.

I've PM'ed Michael about this.

just registered to post this.

I've had my Indica since the middle of May. Love it. Easy to use and clean.

However, last week it stopped turning on. It won't respond to charging or simply pushing the button.

I've put in three calls to the customer service number since Thursday, each time being told that customer service will call me back within a couple hours. I have yet to hear from someone. What started as a positive experience is quickly turning sour.

Can someone here help me or point me in the right direction. I'd read here how great the customer service for the Indica has been but I'm getting a vastly different experience.

I don't know about calling, but emails have been responsive I believe. In any case, you should receive a message directly from Mike here now that you've posted your problems in the thread. Good luck!

I talked with M last week he said he was going to a trade show in Europe. Not sure where. He will get back to you just give him a couple days and "conversation" him here. Mine did the same thing and he took care of it. He even emailed from Europe to get my mail address. I told him I didn't mind waiting til he got back.

So after have reading this thread, i must say that if the V2 will have :

- Replacable Batteries (if possible rechargeables by the the way of the Indica itself),
- Airflow draw user controllable (if possible, without a need of a special tool),
- Oil vaporization option,
- Glass path and/or mouthpiece inside also with glass, option,

..... i think i will buy this one !!!!!!!!

Extra important wishes :

- If they do it in Black, i will buy the Black version.
- The word 'INDICA' on the unit....., not a good idea in my country ................
- I will be much happy if the flip top can be removable (During the process of vaporizing, the look with the flip top open take too much place and i found it not so 'discreet'......)

Just my thoughts .......

Hello, "Indica Vaporizer"! I'm very interested in purchasing your current product. Will there definitely be some sort of battery replacement program for the current product, or replacement batteries? If so, when would they be available? I am afraid to purchase this vaporizer before I know this. Your vape is superior but I would end up deferring to the Pax, which I don't want to do!

Also, if anyone can answer this, does the indica run constantly when heated like the Pax ?

---------------------------

I see that the indica vape is charged via USB. I'm wondering if I could use it with-charge on the go with something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-CP-ELS-Portable-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B005XJWS30

(Or some other kind of portable USB charger)

That way the battery life is extended! / I wouldn't have to worry about replacement batteries being available!

Sure, I don't see why it wouldn't work. The only problem is it might take longer to charge the Indica

Delta3DStudios,
Hey, all. I just ordered my indica and it should arrive tomorrow, yay! I have read through this thread and I don't remember seeing anything that would answer my question, sorry if it is a repeat. I was wondering what the avb/abv was like and if it was still useful for edibles and such?

It is well/evenly extracted, but its usefulness will depend on the temps you used ofcourse. Evev red should leave something at least though, since its 412F is still well below combustion's ~450Fish

I finish up with purple or red so my abv is usually spent. If you only do a session or two on lower temps with fully packed bowl you'll have some useful abv after.

Hey everyone. This is my first time ever posting to the FC forum and I wish it could be for me to say that everything is fine with my brand new indica but it is not. I haven't even had it for a week and it no longer heats up. All the other functions work but it will not get hot. I've seen people from the indica team in this forum before and I was hoping I could get some help. I really loved the vape when it was working. Not really sure what happened.

Indica Review. Nice job IMO.
I have to disagree withis this review on two points. IMO the taste of the Indica is superior to the Pax not so much in the beginning of a session but after the first few draws. The taste does not deteriorate as much as the Pax after your load is cooking. I can do multiple sessions for the same pack and it tastes consistantly good. I can not say the same for any other conduction vapes. I also don't find the vapor hot as was mentioned.

Secondly, this thing does perform from a vapor output as good as the Pax and much better than the MFLB. He also should take efficiency into account in judging performance. That is where the Indica truly performs IMO.
