Tek BHO to E-juice?

So,

I had add my disposal:
1g of BHO absolute
PG USP
VG USP
D-Limonene

How to go about this?

What i am trying:
mixed 3ml d-limonene with 1g bho to dissolve it
heated in hot water bad till completely dissolved
added 70/30 solution of PG/VG, 8ml in total(5,6PG/2,4VG)
Immediately the solution started forming two distinct layers. More heating and shaking made it look like it dissolved, but after leaving it to sit for a little while the two layers appeared again. Now it is in the high pressure cooker, will leave it in there for a good two hours and see if that made it bond...

Anybody has any experience with this and feels like sharing? For now i cannot get the special ejuice mix, so am trying to find the next best option...

So I try just using the d-limonene and VG? Just the D-limonene and PG? Only PG? only d-limonene? VG alone is out of the question I think... the solution with only the d-limonene added did seem to be runny enough to be vaped out of a clearomizer(mPT3)...

My experience is similar to yours. BHO is not very soluble in PG, and the situation with VG is worse. I can get PG and BHO to mix when heated, but it separates when it cools. Polyethylene Glycol 400 and d-limonene are far more promising. The o.pen cartridges carried by my local dispensary uses PEG400, and Tetralabs Pure Gold uses limonene - although far less than you, probably 5% to 10% of final weight.

Dissolve the BHO in your choice of PG (PG400, Di-PG, PG, etc.), add a few drops of d-limonene to taste and if you need the VG, you can add in around 3-4 drops per ml before separation begins without the use of a homogenizer.

Whenever I play around with VG in my mixes, even at 3-4 drops per ml, I tend to burn through atomizers much faster than PG alone. The vapor isn't quite the same, but it'll be consistent.

I did put the first try in the freezer, and carefully sucked up the 'oily' part, and it is very liquid. Unfortunately the taste of the d-limonene is too overwhelming...I'm afraid this first try def can be called a failure...

Just so you're aware that when it comes to water weight/volume is 1 gram/1 mL. So your adding 3 mL of that orange terpene to 1 mL of wax was too much.

I've seen others post guides that recommend you mix at a rate of 1:2 BHO to Ejuice to 2:1 BHO to Ejuice.

I think you are making a mistake here....

water indeed weighs 1g/ml, but I am sure BHO does not...

Yeah I've noticed that my oil comes in less than a half mL for the half gram. So thc does weigh more if the .4 mL of puregold I got is really half a gram.

Same when picking up waxes. It's less than half a mL for a half gram. So I'm assuming weed weighs more than water.

But that was just a guideline to go by since it looked to me like you had put way too much ejuice/terpenes.

Apparently ejmix is the way to go, available from Amazon. I bought a bottle a while back but have not had the chance to experiment yet. I believe you can search here somewhere about ejmix

I love those guys, but their two-thousand dollar homogenizer kept their 1:1 blend stable for two weeks. EJmix for the win.

I've used EJMix to great successes so far. Once it's mixed, I've NEVER had it separate on me.

I've never even experimented with my own mixes of PG/VG/PEG etc. I'm sure you could come up with something that performs similarly, but I'd at this point I'd rather just use the tried and true for a little more cash.

One bottle of EJMix will last you for a long time too.

I use less EJMix in my solution then most it seems. I put anywhere from 15-30% EJMix by volume. These days I'm trending toward the 15-20% EJMix in an attempt to combat leaks in hot weather.

Loving the ej mix as well! Great stuff but a little pricey. What else would you expect for a product marketed to us?

I want to get into making ejmix or any type of proven tried and true mixing of wax/oil to juice and using a atomizer cart. I've heard bottom feed tanks are better for this purpose? what are the good types of atomizers that everyone is using? Thanks for the help

I'm late to the pen vape scene. I've been vaping for years - an old Volcano, PD, Underdog, MFLB, etc. I've also been making BHO, mostly for use in edibles (candy), with the occasional dab session. The two generally haven't converged.

I've been watching the pen/mod scene and waiting for the time to jump in when the battery tech, atomizer tech, and ability to use BHO all converged so that it would be easy and completely stealth, as it's indiscernible from tobacco use.

This week, I took the leap and got an iTaste VV with a mini ProTank 3 along with a bottle of EJMix, as I think we're just about at that point.

I took a .5g piece of shatter and melted it into 1 ml of EJMix and loaded it into the tank (fairly weak, I know). All very easy, and my initial impressions are that this is just what I'd hoped - a totally stealth, non-fiddly method of using concentrate in public, in the Jeep with the top down, in "mixed" company, or even while hiking. I'm totally sold. It's doing everything that I'd like with minimal effort.
