All pre orders have been paid for. Doubt anyone will drop out.

I do have a concern that you think the 8 will keep you from smoking. I'm sorry to say I have yet to see anyone who thinks a certain unit was the reason they quit. I myself am a smoker and must say it has to come from you.

In other words try the Ti MT4 before you spend money on a unit you might not need

No, please, no concern necessary. I didn't mean to infer that I thought any particular device would make me quit smoking. I meant that I am going to give another go with an e-cig to try to switch over to vaping instead of smoking and the 8 with the Kayfun on it looked slick was all.

just wondering if the hurcules could be used with anything but the "Persei" ? :)
Well, what devices do you already have?

if you already have devices that are up to the task, and you are comfortable using them, I would understand using them - with an adapter - with the Hercules.

if you don't, I am Not sure this is a good approach. I already have 7 electronic cigarette devices, so it made sense to me to get a few adapters and try using the Herc on them.

two of my devices are mechanical, that is they have no protection circuitry whatsoever. they work great with the Hercules black rod, but it would be absolutely irresponsible to put such a device in the hands of a newbie.

of the remaining 5 devices, only two can deliver the current needed to power the Hercules. but those two devices do not come with any warranty or customer service.

speaking of customer service and warranty, something critically important to a newbie... my two devices that come with both cost $200 and 160euro.

I am all for saving money and being clever, but I still recommend that people pair the Hercules with the Persei.

Another issue is these adapters, made in the era of the 2.4ohm omicron cartridges. They don't feel like steel, and I'm not sure how much resistance it adds. I have resorted to using my Okeanos base plate as an adapter, it screams quality.

thx my friend 4 a great answer

not a newbie -- but you hit some key points ! MUCH respect !

Im used to variable voltage -- and of course the newer digital ones and I guess I have been comfy with dialing and pushing buttons to increase lil by lil … -- and I felt that (i assume) its about having just 3.7 or 7.4 -- join between ? - I could be wrong -- and maybe / hopefully it only needs 3.7 or 7.4 -- (of course aside from battery configs ! )

and I guess that was holding me back and thinking about using one of my mods or variable high output --

but your points made all too much sense ---

so much so -- that after I read your reply
I just immediately grabbed the persei and core just now ! nice silver !

(after all my bday this week ---- it'll be my bday present !!!!!! yipeeeee)

thank you for your time and being kind and open ! respect and positivity my friend

Peace

Don't get me wrong I'm just trying to get you to not spend more money. That's why I say use the mt4 first and get a feel for it then graduate to the 8 with a kayfun. Trying to save you cash my friend.

Happy birthday! Rad present to yourself. You're gonna be thrilled when you get your hands on it... Hopefully you got your order through in time to take advantage of the 25% off sale that just ended!

Very happy to help, a lil humor seemed right on a friday night..

There are some technical reasons why variable wattage e cig mods don't work particularly well with the Hercules. All the ones I've seen boost a single 3.7V battery up higher as you increase the voltage. This shortens the battery life and can actually impact the total number of charge cycles you get out of a battery. A single battery also doesn't perform continuous high amperage output while having its voltage stepped up, and with the Herc you might decide you need a 20 second button press. They're designed for wire heaters and often don't regulate voltage in the way the ceramic rod wants it- flat, steady. The Core is the best solution for variable voltage with the Persei currently. Variable Voltage Persei tops, called "Iris", have been under development for some time, they'll be out eventually...

I bought the Persei vaporizer about 2 weeks ago and I must say what an amazing product it is. I had an issue with the stock batteries in which they did not work properly however after going to get the AW batteries it works perfectly. I never expected it to be this good. Minus the inconvenience with the batteries I think its a great product for anyone and a worthwhile investment. 10/10

Holy shit, I love my sr-74!
tastes amazing.hits big. I have not touched my rig since it arrived in the mail. I should have bought extra batteries because it eats thru power. Also I keep thinking it stopped working because of wispy hits but every time it is because i need to add oil. It CONSUMES oil at a quick pace. I love it! Now I need a travel case for everything. I am not a big fan of the TI Kiss cart compared to the Sr-74. It packs a punch but has a slightly off taste. (maybe if I had not tried the Sr-74 I would love the Kiss cart) Thanks for the tips and help guys. I am stoked to be in the Persiei club. Lets see your travel cases!

I've got a V2 Persei top (V2-0013!) and the button is starting to get a little sticky. Sticky as in when I release the button after a hit it slowly extends back out and disengages. Any advice on how to clean the button assembly?

Tritons last part is being made and will take about 45 days because of the mold.

Iris electronics came back some minor issues so we are redoing that as well.

As for that idea we are calling it the infinity kit for the 8, and we personally believe it's going to make the 8 one of the best mods on the market.

A Luna is now in CA...awaiting deconstruction for 8 reconstruction...if the vape gods are smiling down upon us, that is.

Shed any light on the infinity?

Thanks

As for anymore information on the Infinity Kit I won't say anything until it's finalized. I do apologize but I rather shut up about this and just introduce it when it's available. Most likely before November. I did have a nice discussion about it yesterday and it's possible. So let's hope for the best.

Can the KISS Globe carts work without the globe? I ask because I keep hearing good things about this new black ceramic wick. Also, can you use the TI 2 KISS carts with the globe?
