That store was selling davinci ascent not solf by davinci noy covered by warranty either. They were using there own warranty or some stuff lol stay clear of them its on the davinci ascent forum on here I own both so follow both people got screwed by that company for 300 $ ascent imagine a 800$ vaporizer

As long as herbalizer says coveted then you're good but davinci was not COVERed people were upset

I have purchased many things on Massdrop and I haven't had any issues. IMO, this is a no brainer to save a few bucks. They already said that the warranty would be honored. The Herbalizer is a great vape and this is a great price. Go for it!

The only reason I didn't get it from mass drop was because I needed it sooner Carrie was able to accommodate me so I bought direct!

When and where can I get that gong attachment!? lol
And that glass airpath for filling balloons that looks like it'll solve my problem of the baloons falling down? And that globe that would make using the whip much more enjoyable?
Maybe a longer whip?

To me, the only way a glass air and vapor path makes any sense for filling balloons is if you're also using glass balloons.

I thought the same thing, but my main thought is a good fix for the problem of my balloons falling over. I'm lazy, and I'm pretty sure you don't need to hold the balloons in place on a volcano.

Speaking of glass balloons.... These can be seen in Venice Beach!

Getting my herbie soon and I wanted to try a strict glass on glass connection.
The problem is I don't have a hydra tube yet.

I know I can order one...but is it possible to pick the herbie up upside down or sideways so I can get the 18mm male connection on the 18 F part of my bong?

Try it with your herbie in the name of science!

No because once it tips over far enough it semi-shuts down, everything gets deactivated and it waits for you to turn it right-side up.

Wow this thing is so accurate I'm really impressed, yesterday I had a session started off at 290 visible vapor not think or dense but visible and tasted so good, I proceeded to do a whole bowl at this temp waiting 15 to 20 min before proceeding to 385 I was feeling the effects of the lower temp feeling high I guess energetic in a sense very nice noticeably less thick vapor put effect top notch.
Then I proceeded to the next temp 385 balanced and noticed a big difference in vapor density and the effect was different yet again feeling more heavy like stoned I guess. Taste was great and then 15 minutes later did a 445 bag hit, filled the bag with nice and thick vapor I mean thick I couldn't see throu the bag.
Anyway taste was good and the vapor was cool and effective.
Going through 3 different temp settings can really change the effect and results you get with your medicine, I've had and have a lot of vapes and the density between temp settings using the same herb in the chamber throughout the session had a great effect and the results were very pronounced.
I'm very impressed with the herbie I usually medicate all day but yesterday I medicated around 11am and didn't medicate till later that evening at around 7pm and then when I went to bed and wow it lasted a long time and I went through the day relying on my herbie sessions to get me through and it did a great job.
Now this morning I woke up sick throwing up due to pain and I couldn't use the herbie cause I was to sick and needed to sleep it off.
I woke up and I'm feeling like crap I will medicate in a bit I'm sure the herbie will make me feel better like it did yesterday.
I'm very I pressed with this thing

Herbie is so fucking fast that you can blow up half a balloon at 290, shut the fan off, bump up the temp to say 445, engage fan, then you'd have 1 balloon, 1 strain, filled at 2 different vaped temps. Pretty much saying the combinations are infinite. You can get fancy and try for 3 or 4 temps to fill, Herbie will keep up! Then imagine multiple different types of weed mixed at different temps in the same balloon!

I'm sure nothing in this post will be new information for the experienced members, but for those that like me are still learning - read on.

I've been playing around with different grinds in Herbie and I don't think the results are surprising, but still interesting...

Common sense says the greater the surface area of your plant material the faster the heat can reach all of it, so faster extraction times.

Each of the tests below were based on a carefully weighed .075-.080g of the same strain from the same batch.

1. Not ground at all - just pop in a small whole nug
This works fine, but it takes quite a while to get full extraction, and you can have mini-explosions if your nug traps hot gas/oil in a closed pocket. Those are kinda fun.

2. Not ground, but just torn by hand in a few pieces
Again, works fine, just a little more effective then a whole nug, but about the same.

3. Course grind with a wooden pin style grinder
I think this is my favorite for whip use. The course grind allows the heat to penetrate the plant much faster overall, but still slow enough to keep it from all coming out at once.

4. Med grind with a 'give away' plastic grinder
This works about the same as the pin grinder

5. Fine grind - almost to a powder, using a sharpstone grinder.
This is my favorite grind for balloons or BIG hits using water. This grind is so fine the heat can reach all of the plant very quickly, so the extraction is done very fast. If you do this - you will get one or two MASSIVE hits once the heat penetrates the plant. Minor downside is it does tend to clog the top screen.

What this tell us is we can control the length of time it takes to extract all the goodies based on the size of grind. If I want a slow relaxed session that takes 10-15 minutes I'll use the course grind and just enjoy. If I need to medicate quickly I use a fine grind and I can be done in under 3 minutes.

Where the fuck do I put the fucking weed?? On that grill looking screen or do I sandwich it in between to little hole of the top of the bowl and the included screens?

Kinda fucking pissed the instructions aren't more clear been waiting all day for this and read this thread for months and I can't figure this out.

Either I'm stupid or I'm doing it right and I don't realize I'm toasted yet.

I put the herbs on the the grilled screen at the bottom not sure how it's all going to extract

I just read the instructions.
put your herb "IN" the bowl

• remove bowl from vaporizer
• unscrew the bowl... open it
• put weed in the bowl
• close it
• replace it on the unit

The bowl, with the black rubber/silicone heat shields... give it a 1/2 turn counter clockwise and it will come apart. Load the bottom part about 1/2 way, put top back on and 1/2 turn clockwise...

Then, prepare for LIFTOFF!

You know I value your opinion I only got the warranty the note from them and some stickers.

Then the QuickStart guide. I grab that naturally look at the vapor therapy mode.




In fact the directions that @DDave provided are nowhere on the quick start guide.

I wish they added the turn the bowl 1/2 way step before the fill the bowl half way step.

I got a bunch of herbs under the bowl and had to blow it out because I didn't understand.

Now I'm going to stop being frustrated and enjoy.

I'm still really loving this thing! The only thing I find it's lacking is a real on/off switch—especially considering another user measured that it draws power when it's "off" and, yes, herbie sometimes hums. I have it on a power strip that's off unless I'm medicating, so just noticed it recently. I may have been worried had I not already read every page of this thread—people have mentioned it and it's not a big deal IMO. Another device with a hi-temp bulb—the video projector—has a cooling fan that runs for a minute after you turn off the bulb, then you power down for real with a rocker switch.

The vapor therapy button can be used as an on/off switch. Just hold it for a couple seconds.

If I want to turn herbie off, I just lower the lid a bit.

Thanks guys, but both of those methods of turning it "off" are the equivalent of putting a computer to sleep. My only point was to be able to completely cut power to the device so it doesn't draw current (=waste money) or hum occasionally. My power strip solution works fine, so back to vaping!

I've never noticed mine doing anything after turning it off. In fact, when the cooling fan is running and I push the button, it stops immediately. If I'm misunderstanding, I apologize.

It's just transformer noise, so nothing to be concerned about. I'm just hypersensitive to sound.

I received my Herbalizer Thursday and the last 48 hours have been spent in an Herbalized haze.

I haven’t found anything I don’t like about it. This was the first time I’ve used bags, and they work great. It’s nice to have another option to get Herbalized.

I used the whip with a glass drip tip I use with my e-cig’s. I used the whip more so I could pull the bowl off between hits.

I also have an Ascent and it came with a 14mm straight water tool adapter. It fits the bowl perfect, with an air tight seal. The gong end fits a 510 drip tip, air tight. This is now my favorite way to use Herbie.

This is an amazing vaporizer! I'll buy anything the dolphins put out in the future!

It was mentioned that herbie draws a bit of power even when shut off.
A dedicated power strip is the solution for this
