Naming New Strains

I have some cannabis that I have that's called Durban Poison. I almost didn't buy it. It was highly recommended. It's a Sativa. It's not any better than some of the other I've used. It is good quality, so are plenty of the others.

Ive been suspicious about some of the different names since now I have a mmj cert. I can go to a dispensaries now. I was thinking they could put any name on something and I wouldnt know the difference. I agree I didn't want to buy Green Crack either because of the name. Maybe other folks are attracted to the name.

Names really do sell a product. When you go into a dispensary, all you've got to go on is name, smell and looks. Or an herbs reputation. I have had some really nice folks at the different dispensaries that have been honest and helpful.

I liked the above article very much.

I believe Pinchers Creek is the real name, but I guess it doesn't have the same appeal to some people.

Thanks, I did some searching and found:
There are two strains of Green Crack: one that is almost pure Sativa and one that is 75% Indica.
How confusing is that?
I love the sativa version

how about Purple Dog Shit, or just Shit, I'm not kidding, one of them is a popular strain name in Oregon.
