I humbly disagree,
, but I know I'm in the minority.
VB mini wand on left, nano stem on right. The screen is actually loose in the nano stem, so it has a bigger bore than the VB mini (SSV wand).
I can fit as little in the SSV wand as I do in the nano stem, and get it just as dark ABV. But then I also have the option of using a standard whip that can fit much more.
#2 - Flavor is subjective and undefinable.
I've asked this before, is flavor considered when you take a tiny sip from the wand/stem and just get a taste of the meds, or is a full out lung busting hit that strips the entire load of the terpenoids and flavanoids and fills your mouth and lungs? Or is a low heat hit that gives you a light blue cloud? Flavor has been talked about to death hear on FC, but I've never seen it defined.
Did you use the 7th floor whip or silicone tubing? Not all silicone tubing is created equal, I have a piece of Tygon 3350 that I've been using for a month that still has no detectable odor.

You are the master Tweak! I can never seem to get the DBV to do enough with a small load. Admittedly, I haven't studied up too much and don't have the VB mini wand, and truth be told my buddy that has one loves to fill it up too much for my liking.
Flavor..... Have only used tygon for years. Both on my EQ and buddy's DBV. Definitely makes a difference. When I first got my EQ, I immediately took the tubing out to the garage (was stinking up the house with plastic/chemical stench!) and grabbed the soft silicone tubing from my VaporWarez (not tygon but high grade silicon). Had tygon within a couple weeks and never used anything else after. Don't think it is so much that the silicon imparts a flavor to vapor (if fairly new and using lower temps) as much as it seems to rob some flavor. Know it shouldn't make much difference and could be in my head as much as anything else, but used the EQ all kinds of ways with all kinds of tweaks for a year or two and it's best flavor experiences were about on par with the least flavorful nano hits (and that's being kind to the EQ). Then again, the EQ isn't nearly as good of a flavor producer IMO, even when using no silicone (perched on a GonG set-up like a monstrous log-vape).
Still not defined and get what you're saying about that. Flavor is definitely very subjective, and am glad you're getting all you can from both. But, think I prefer 2" - 3" or so of glass between my heating element and my bubbler. I also keep the load space smaller than what it looks like you have there, and think that makes a difference too.

Permanent, unless you intend to void the warranty by opening the nano and removing (what I assume to be) a compression clip holding it in place

Could someone with an out of warranty/multiple nanos be willing to post a picture guide on how to fully disassemble the unit? Yes I understand this will void my warranty but I'm going to be doing a lot of international air travel in the future so I need to be able to make my unit spotless.
I'm thinking the only way to truly make sure its spotless is fully disassemble the unit, blast the crevices with compressed air, and give all the metal parts a full dunk in iso.

Yeah, you're right. It's easy....simple 2 screws (remove cork carefully at 9/3 on dial, basically on either side of the "e" in epicvape) and the guts come out nicely and you can do your cleanout. I wish this didn't void warranty, I don't see what it does, but whatever....I don't see much that can really break anyway. Other than the dimmer.

I have to say i am very happy with the purchase of the nano... still i have to play with it and experiment... got it yesterday... if someone have tips.. played yesterday arround with adjusting the screen and temp. and different drawing techniques... flavour is great (especially the first and second hit) and after playing with the basket and finding the right temp. Which didn t take long also big vapor clouds.... but as i mentioned i am new to the nano.....

Tried using the Solo's aromatherapy bowl on the Nano....works okay but it's too big for the nano. How does EV's bowl fit on the nano @Ratchett? I also cranked it to 10 and put some drops of essential oil on some cotton. I dunno, it kinda worked but didn't really smell up the room nicely or anything. Is it designed more for just sniffing? I figured it would diffuse enough to make my kitchen smell nice.

From what I understand, you add distilled water and a few drops of essential oil into the bowl. I've got some eucalyptus essential oil in my amazon prime shopping cart, I'll be ordering that soon

Man, usually Im a patient guy but this tracking info is killing me haha. I guess its better not to have tracking so i dont keep checking it but I ordered last Wednesday (7/2) at 8Am in the morning and Im in texas but the tracking still says electronic info recieved.

There are 270 pages of awesome tips, haha. Probably the most important thing I've learned with mine so far has been that every time I get a new strain, I start at 6 and slowly inch up to find the ideal number. It seems like the ideal setting depends a LOT on your bud; I had some hydro kdawg that was best at 7.25-8.75 (I raise it .5 every time I stir), and some clockwork orange that combusted at 8.25. I can get good flavor hits at 6 with it, and I'm getting that coffee grounds color just a little under 8. It'd be interesting to examine what exactly factors into this; I recall Andy or one of the ~experts like Caligula mentioning that ambient air temperature plays a huge role.
