Buying a new vape! Thinking about vaporbrothers original...good?

I have a pax and want something that's better at home. I want clouds and stable temperature.

I love pax but don't like then idea of plastics in my vape. I was looking at the vaporbrothers original hand free model. It says it is made of all natural materials, and is tested for harmful toxins. I like the reviews I have read but wanted outside opinions...

I just want something that isn't off-gassing anything Hardin into the vapor!

The Solo is very durable and economical. I find that my herb can be stretched a long time. An FCer posted with comments and pictures that their Solo had been run over by a pickup and still was running. I don't know if there is another vape that could hold up like that.

Don't worry about a metal body. Worry about some of those plastic bodied vapes.

EDIT: You see I said (some)plastic bodies. Plenty of great metal, wood and plastic vapes.

Remember, most of the time your vape will operate below 500F - this is well below any possible offgassing point from most metal found in vapes. You should be more worried about plastic as @CarolKing stated (Off-gassing from ABS plastic in my 3D printers scares me to the point I'm working on installing proper ventilation to avoid inhaling any more of it than I need to!). Offgassing from some plastics can start off-gassing in as little as 280F!

I should correct my statement about the Nano - the Aluminum is NOT in the vapor path after heating - it's in the cool air intake path. Stainless steel is the only metal surrounding the heating element.

Metal and Plastic are used in a whole bunch of Good Vaporizers, not really the problem some people make it out to be. (Don't buy crap vapes from china)

Read through the vaporizer review sections and you'll see there are plenty of people who are happy with their vaporizers that are made of these modernistic even space age materials (metal and plastics).

You can't heat air using electricity without Metal of some type, can you ? if so tell me how.

Plastic, Metal, wood and Glass... all good stuff.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the responses. I guess metal concerns me because any questionable metals or manufacturing could off gas even at lower temps. Regardless, the more natural the better. I have PAX now and although I got a decent response from their team about the plastic being heat resistant, it's still enough to worry me.

I'm really thinking about buying the vapor brothers today....it looks good. The e nano is also looking awesome.

The vapolution looks ok but not sure it's better than the two above...

Are you connecting to water or hitting straight?

I'd look at the Airizer Solo or the EpicVape E-Nano

I want to be able to do both. I have a bubbler...14mm

original VB is nice. I'd say it's my favorite whip vape, especially if you intend to hit it dry.

Can you hook it up to a bubbler? I was thinking of just connecting the whip to my bubbler...

Thanks

I think you should do some more reading before you opt for the vaporbrother's model. I am not a fan of that design (I hate the angled exhaust port). Especially don't believe all the hype from your LHS - you wouldn't believe the shit I've heard them say (And when they have a $30 D020 bubbler selling for $155 in the case, I can't take them seriously).

Any day of the week the Nano will blow that Vaporbrother's out of the water. If price is a concern, I might have a Nano going up for sale soon in the classifieds (upgrading to a new super exotic custom Nano)

I don't really take what the local head shop says (assuming that's LHS), I looked at the box, read a heavy amount of reviews, vaporbrothers seems like it's better than the e nano but I have no way to look at a e nano to be for sure. The Vaporbrothers I saw today looked awesome...

+ the vape bro has a lifetime warranty

The e nano only has 3 years...

I'd recommend also looking at an ssv if you're considering the vapor bros.

I was looking at the LSV which is the same as a SSV just different housing. I don't know if the LSV would work good with my bubbler...the SSV looks alright but have read mixed reviews

The vapor brothers is a solid vaporizer even with the angled heater core, you get used to it. I've only used one with the "Mini" wand but would consider buying one myself if the price were right (for me around $100).

The Vapolution is my favorite vape at the moment and since you can pick one up for $99 bucks delivered to your door it's a great deal.
All glass on glass vaporpath with amazing taste and no grinding, Plenty of options with direct draw bowls/stems or the whip to keep boredom at bay.

Any 7th floor vaporizer will serve you well, mixed reviews be damned.

Any of the vaporizers mentioned in this thread so far are great machines for delivering your Medicine and you would most likely enjoy any of them, Find the one you like the looks of and Buy it.

Thanks!

Have you ever heard of THeCan? http://cannavapor.com/construction.html

Also, would you prefer the Vapolutiom over the SSV if money wasn't in the equation? Which has the cleanest path and best hit? What about the e nano?

I actually own the can, although I've heavily modified it: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/diy-direct-to-bong-conversion.13809/

Worked great as a whip vape, similar to the DBV but the vapor quality was a little better (more even). There's a thread on it in the desktop section and I think I wrote a review

I have never seen THeCan in person.

I would choose the vapolution but that's just me because it suits my needs better, i like the direct draw of the vapo and the no grinding needed bowl design.

But a lot of people would say they prefer the Build of the SSV better(aluminium instead of plastic body) along with the fuller convection vaping experience, after the first few hits the vapo is really conduction.

I don't have first hand Nano knowledge but own an Underdog and can say it tastes every bit as good as the vapolution, Log style vapes are really nice.

The vaporpath on all these vapes are clean and although some people claim to be able to taste the whips in the vaporpath, I can't (i also keep whips clean).

I truly cannot say any one of these is the best vaporizer of the bunch, as their all pretty sweet in their own way. If i were deciding between 'em I'd read through their threads and watch as many videos online that i could find to see which fits my lifestyle and needs.
