That is a push combustion bowl not a ground glass connection. Are you planning to vape with it as a mouthpiece for a whip, or a real small vape like the Lotus to fit on top?

Trying to run my SSV tubing into it wouldnt achieve any sort of quality seal w/o some sortve modification Ive never seen I think. Thank you fkr warning me and I know I at "fuckxombustion" but I couldn't pass up this bub, even knowing it is for flame. I have a small double honeycomb and pinnacle knockoff coming for my vaping needs.which reminds me I need a solo gong w that amber purple drip that vaped n confused does.

This piece will only be used kn full moons and special occasions since those tentacle w swirl inside dont seem major durable.

You could make a seal for the whip with many different adhesive materials since you don't have to worry about high temps with the bowl being at the end of a decent sized whip. You may not even need adhesives. A seal can be created by just pressing the silicone down around the bowl hole. I use my Lotus with wpa like this just an inch of silicone over the adapter. If you do end up sparking it make sure you pbw or at least iso it before vaping again if you care about the flavor. Good luck and avoid that cherry in that sweet bowl as much as you can!

My mini donut inline got here today, unfortunately the inside of the joint is too narrow for my domeless so I guess I have to use an 18-14 reducer in between to fit my nail. Messaged the seller to see if it's considered "defective". Aside from the joint it's a pretty decent mini rig. I can do a water test if there's interest.

Honestly, if it's the $21 inline from SSS I wouldn't expect any better quality considering that's one of the cheapest pieces he has. But, I would love to see a video on how well the perc functions.

Receiving a bunch of stuff from China this week. What's weird is I have 5 different tracking numbers but only one is updating now, kathy's package which I ordered on 7/1 departed SF. So, I'm expecting all my packages to arrive either tomorrow or the day after. Also got a paycheck this week, and ordered the YQ-42, no more glass for me unless a seller pulls out something sexy.

Kathy Kathy Kathy, who is this Kathy? Has anyone seen her or a picture of this glass goddess?

Here's how I like to imagine her, out in nature, contemplating new designs.

@Ivape2much, nice score. With that girl laying on her charm, I half expected you to get overcharged.

I would love a StarWars themed piece. Maybe I'll start with some pins...

@ivape2 Looks like it works, thick glass, heavy base.

I've been out of the glass game for almost a year due to legal problems, so I may have overpaid (I genuinely don't know), but I got $100 in prepaid visas basically for free so meh.
I did talk her down from $80 though :D

I steel myself against the fetching young sales ladies. For our thread here, anything less than $100 can be considered cheap. Most of the posts are for cheap chinese glass, but it's cool to see people getting decent deals in the LHS.

Wasn't expecting much when I got it but it reminded me of my old combusting piece, an 18" inline tube.

This was definitely sold cheap because it was made cheap, the nail sucks even by chi-nail standards, the dome is just a cut down downstem and there's no combustion bowl (not that I need it). With my domeless and carb cap it's significantly better.

Man, sure is pretty. I think we'll only see more of these worked pieces.

got it... everything looks great with the exception of the male joint... :\ it looks melted on the end and isn't flush, so I can't use my low-pro 10mm quartz male domeless nail which would have been a perfect match considering how close the joint is to the mouthpiece... bummer, so it seems only female nails will work for now. Other than that, it seems well made everywhere else, solid joints, braced mouthpiece, pretty even and symmetrical, even feels pretty sturdy as I have already knocked this one around twice with no issue. It functions really well, uses a 3 hole perc and with the right water level and gentle draw, very little splash back.

The quartz female nail I got is pretty tall, but seems ok with this piece. The Ti nail I got looks good and fits tight as well, and is a bit lower profile, but gets really hot. I have not tried it with the nail/dome yet, it came with 2 tiny glass nails and a flared top dome. I'd say it was "perfect" if not for the warped joint. too bad. It is a tiny little thing.

It's the inside of your joint that's warped isn't it? That seems to be what's wrong with my inline donut. Whoever made it must've realized and mangled the nail into a syringe. I was able to sort of correct it with a low-pro 18-14 reducer so maybe a 14-10 could save yours?

Just got my "roor" matrix bubbler in and I couldent be happier. Its a little smaller with a smaller neck and mouthpiece so Im getting a little splash but once the water gets more viscous it should be smooth sailing. I was very impresssed with the overall construction and quality of the glass for sure. Definitely worth 70 bucks shipped.

I posted a photo, no, it's one entire side of the top edge that looks melted, and leaves a big gap if I set the male domeless in there. Oh well, I guess its to be expected for the price pioint. Nothing I have ordered has been flawless yet... I decided to dispute it, maybe they will send a replacement that isn't messed up.

Thanks for the video, I always enjoy the music too :) Sorry to hear about the defect. My order from Yingmin5 had a chunk missing from the dome, and the nail seemed "melted", and missing part of the head.
He offered to give me a slight refund via paypal, but I haven't seen it yet. I think disputing yours is a good plan, it definitely reduces it function.

Her joint is 10mm.

That's what I would hope for, then you can gift that one.

Warning Avoid!!!

What a shame too bc it looks like a cool mini beaker with 16 slits of diffusion. Mine has the joints placed a bit awkward not quarter of the way apart and not opposite halfway apart. Somewhere in the middle of quarter and halfway and it makes it look strange. The biggest disappointment is the thickness. This is one problem that gave China glass a bad rep and this piece is in that category. I thought I almost broke it when applying a k clip. I certainly hope this discrepancy in thickness doesn't trend, bc who wants dinky glass even if it is under $17...

I'll say it again, thank you everyone for doing the legwork to find the best vendors!
I went to two LHS yesterday looking for a cheap ash catcher (Pictures to come later today @ataxian - you're not the only one using ash catchers and j-hooks!)

Anyway I saw a LOT of the glass from Kathy and Sunshine store in their shops. The one shop had the D020 listed for $155 and the D020-D listed for $165!!! The other shop had a few different pieces from Kathy including the layered cake mini rig, but didn't bother to ask the guy behind the counter - everyone at that one LHS think they know everything and that their glass is the best glass around (sorry, I'm not paying $30 for a 18 to 14mm reducer!)

14mm is a good size for a nail, 3 hole diffy, MP back from face. 7" tall. Mine only vortexes a little if the water level is a certain height, which is higher than I like, because it makes more drag. But, it's an excellent splash guard, even with the hardest pull, zero water in the mouth. I have the first one, if I was going to replace it I might try the 2nd one, but the first is definitely a sold choice.
