I have a few.
Some tornado.
I take a large boring water piece with a ash collector to change it's dynamic.

We have different household setups.
I go into my garden with a ash collector and Sherlock (JHOOK) during the summer months.
Like you I like a fixed water piece indoors in my medication area during the winter months.
Since I vaporize alone I never medicate with flowers in my house.
That's what concentrate pens are for.

We all have different likes and dislikes base on our environment!

This is a weedstar j-hook I got used off a friend for $30. It was originally for a 45 degree angle but I heated it with 2 torches at once and managed to bend it a 90 degree style. I also added the ice pinch! I have never blown glass in my life just melted and modified with butane and propane torch. When I started this I figured I would break it and be out $30 but it actually worked out really well. I can put water in the bottom and it functions like a natural perc and with ice in it you cannot find a j-hook with a cooler hit

I like a jhook and ashcatcher with the lotus. Only combo I found that gets it far enough away from my face, also makes it easier to see the chamber. The D020 2 W looks like it would be good too.

I have been using my ashcatcher/j-hook combo a lot for the same reasons.

That double barrel has been tempting me, but it looks like it may also leave the Lotus too close to my face. Especially as it is male and would need an adapter which would raise it further.

Having never seen concentrates or oil around here (non-friendly MJ state) I find the tendency towards male joints a little disappointing. Same for the tendency towards minis and very small pieces. They just aren't very practical for flowers. The D family is about as small as I am looking for.

Just got a pair of those. They turned out fine and were very reasonable. Took about a week.

Edit: And I just ordered a pair of female to female adapters from SS so those male joints don't hold me back any longer... ;)

My inline to triple donut from Sunshinestore has been in San Francisco since Wednesday so I'm hoping it will be here this week. Video to come.

I also know that a lot of people like quartz nails here and I found this seller on eBay who has the male quartz banger/honey hole nails for only $10. Just choose the option without the dabber and the price goes from $25 to $10. I messaged the seller asking if they are going to get female ones in. These are half the price that I've seen any other seller list them as!

I have this large glass water pipe with a perk that is not so great. 7mm glass and lots of volume. So I have this ASH COLLECTOR coming to fit on it. I tried this with another ash collector and loved it however I set the ash collector up with a JHOOK and use it the most outside. I know what your saying about a water piece complete being the ultimate and your correct in your assessment!

Your collection is amazing!

I do what I do because I'm a cheap ass!

wooo crossing my fingers that the mini layered rig makes it here tomorrow....it's my only real chance to play around and post pics/vids for a week 'cause we got some festing to do... it's past the main hub and heading to our local sort now, so it's looking promising to make it here by morning.

in the mean time I'm getting pretty dabbed out using the D022 :ko: I did a round of glass cleaning today as well, and got most of my pieces sparkling again. They are not really on display, but stored tucked away in a cabinet meant for a PC tower in my desk. Nothing fancy there... I use a flashlight so I am not fumbling around in the dark.

I really enjoy that D020-2-W sidecar HC/turbine. Its pretty smooth, doesn't seem to over diffuse, no water in the mouth, but I keep pretty low levels. I really like the sidecar, good visual for the lotus, and good distance from the face. :tup:

I'm also hoping I like this quartz female 10mm domeless I got, that seems a bit too tall and heavy for for my other two 10mm minis... maybe it will stack better on the layered rig, I want to like it...

Ive got one of the blue trimmed ones coming. This last round of stuff I ordered has been by far the slowest shipping wise. I have a piece coming from Sunshine Store and Kathy. Kathy has been 8 days and doesnt even show its in the system yet. Sunshine store I got a valid number it seems but it hasnt updated in about 6 days.

Hopefully soon.. Ive actually made room for these new pieces, now they just need to show up.

Im just writing my stuff off as an anomaly. Ive had my stuff from Sunshine in 9 days before. That aint gonna happen this time and my only experience with Kathy was so bad I swore Id never deal with her again but you guys have had positive things to say so I took a chance. Hopefully its here by the weekend of the 18th.

My mini donut inline got here today, unfortunately the inside of the joint is too narrow for my domeless so I guess I have to use an 18-14 reducer in between to fit my nail. Messaged the seller to see if it's considered "defective". Aside from the joint it's a pretty decent mini rig. I can do a water test if there's interest.
